Those turbo s models are easily identified from front with the fog lights like the early 60s models, from the side with the one of a kind turbo s wheels, and the back bumper obviously and the turbo s badge... super sweet rides I'm looking to get one for my daughters first car... we will see how the manual transmission works out for her...... we will see!
The Turbo S also came with the machined aluminum door handles and glove box latch. The gear knob is also specific to the TurboS with the dimpled aluminum, steering wheel spokes and the bud vase is also TurboS specific with a real aluminum rim to match the gear knob dimples. The interior lighting is white/red instead of VW blue/red. All those little things if missing or broken... good luck finding it.

Spray on some Goo Be Gone Automotive on that plastidip crap and let it soak for 20 min. Then use a power washer to spray is off. Whatever remains easily scrapes off with your finger or a wet towel. Cheers!
In middle east beetle is quite prone to catching fire. With turbo and cold air intake it must b generating lots of heat having small grill How is it doing there.

I am going to switch the hot air intake out for a stock air box. Should help with intake temps.
