We need some sort of marine pack and a desert pack too A marine animal pack would look like -sea otter -walrus -green sea turtle -west Indian manatee -harbor seal -gentoo penguin -flightless cormorant -banded sea krait(if they do normal exhibit) -American hearing gull aka seagull(if they do walkthrough exhibit) A desert animal pack -dromedary camel -collard peccary -coyote -greater road runner -sulcata tortoise -short beaked echidna -parenti -central bearded dragon(if do normal exhibit) -golden eagle(if do walkthrough exhibit) Shure they can't get all marine animals and desert animals that are highly requested but it helps get a lot of highly requested animals out there
On the Gibbon situation: Its definetely a mix of people being content with a gibbon, regardless which one and the fact that the siamangs left much to be desired. I personally cant say that they are particularly high on my list since if we where getting a asian primate id much rather have it be the golden snub nose and grey langur, but i cant definetly see people wanting them :)
The African Crested Porcupine, Dromedary Camel, Wild Boar, Nile Crocodile and American Black Bear are some of the animals that you diden’t mention that should be in the game. I totally agree with every animal you talked about but I also think that these have a high chance as well.
I'd love to see more birds! They're seriously lacking :( The secretary bird and grey crowned crane are super nostalgic for me so I hope to see them added someday :)
I'd prefere the sloth bear instead of the spectacled tbh, but I know I'm in the manority. I absolutely need more primates. And I absolutely need a porcupine. Coati would also be good, preferably the South American Coati. Not my personal must need, but given the population a sloth should be in there as well. However, it might very well be that Frontier is keeping some more or less highly requested animal for a possible Planet Zoo 2.
Frankly, another monitor lizard (preferably Australasian), sifaka, sloth/spectacled bear, collared/Chacoan peccaries, fossa and a couple more small cats (ocelot and fishing cat in particular) would be among my list of most wanted species for Planet zoo

Super exciting you're just getting into Planet Zoo! Welcome to the Planet Zoo fam! Also there are so many Dlcs now, there are a total of 12. There are a range of continental dlcs I would browse through first. Africa (which includes Meerkats and Penguins), South America (Jaguars, and Anteaters), Australia (Kangaroos and Koalas) as well as many more. But those are some of the starting ones I would suggest because they include some really iconic animals and also some buildings pieces to play around with.
Interesting…. I’ve search all over the internet, frontier forum, everything and never found a meta wishlist for the game 😢 In my opinion, I can’t wait to see the wolverine ! But also the wisent. In the last dlc, I would have chosen the serval over the caracal… However, I hope this on will be added this year or another. The one cute little thing you didn’t mention is the coati. There are super common in European zoo. Bush dog or Mara will be nice to have. Hoping for some new world monkey like spider monkey or marmoset. In North America, I wait for a longtime now the coyote (also good if it’s an European species) and the Elk (cohabitation with the American bison). In Africa, so much species but lesser flamingo, Manteled guereza and Greater kudu are the one I wait. Asia, I want to make a plain but it’s not really possible now and for that, I need the Nilgai or the Blackbuck. But any new animals and you have my money Frontier 😂 PS : I did not take the twilight pack… kinda MEH for me.
Coming from future to say that you were right about three animals just in the first dlc of this year. Now, we need tasmanian devil, ocelot and DROMEDARY CAMEL
No Birds!? and im not talking flying ones, cause ya'll can't use that, when we got flamingos, storks and peafowl. we can very much get Shoebills, Secretary Birds, Kiwi, more Penguins, Ibis, other flamingos, other storks, geese, swans, pelicans, ground Hornbill and so much more birds that don't even need full flight.
I think birds are very likely this year, the problem with why I didn't include any is because I didn't know which ones to include tbh. If I were to give my best guess, I think the NIB Kiwi is the most likely especially with the growing islands Pack ambition
One animal I really want them to include is the Takin. The Takin is an Asian animal related to sheep. It has the horns of wildebeest, the body of a bison, the nose of a moose and kind of looks like a Dr. Seuss character. They’re actually a national treasure in China, besides pandas but I feel like they’re underrated outside of Asia. So it’d be very cool to see Planet zoo include them
Give me the african crested porcupine, and I can die happy LOL but really I just desperately NEED this animal, and I feel the new techniques that frontier did with the fur like with the striped hyena and the blue wildebeest, I feel It is made for porcupine even though if that's how the quills will look, then I wouldn't like it so much! but I feel porcupine it is also really likely It's in #2 of the most requested animals in meta-wishlist and on the forums the topic about them just coming back and forth so we really need this animal but I also would love to see Linnaeus's two-toed sloth, Tasmanian Devil, Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo those 4 are my most wanted animals for the game, and I hope this year will be finally the YEAR! I just adore your Speculation videos! and every video probably!
I reckon in addition to all this, we'd also need stuff like black rhino, leafcutter ants, naked mole rats (!!!), gelada, more bats, *birds*, stuff like that. I actually think if we get something like a Tropical or a Desert Pack, we'd get a "burrow" type exhibit box for leafcutter ants and naked mole rats.

I so want Ocelots and Wolverines, as well as more birds. I am trying to put together a campground zoo, and I just don't have enough American animals!! I want to see some Lynx and Bobcats, American Badger, bring back the Mexican Wolf. Give us some Grouses and Pheasants, I mean they gave us Raccoons!!

Definitely the Wolverine and the Tasmanian Devil are great addition to my zoo. Here are some additional animals I would like to add, disclaimer no extinct, prehistoric and mythical creatures permitted ( for now ). Blue Whale, the Amazon River Dolphin, Duogong, Green Anaconda, Eastern Diamond Back Rattlesnake, African Bullfrog, South China Tiger, Sumatran Rhino, Bottle nose Dolphin and the Kodiak Bear. I really like large animals, too bad I would never got to see some of them alive in real life.The Stellar's sea cow, the Colombian Mammoth , Elephant Bird, South Island Giant Moa and the Syrain Elephant.
