Superb! 5:11 at the end!!
Thanks!
Andy this is awesome! You are such an inspiration. Been watching you now since we met a few years ago at the Severn bridge race which sadly looks like it’s closing down. Anyway keep working hard buddy and keep up the great work 💪🏼
Thanks buddy! I remember mate, you've been crushing it too by the looks of strava, knocking out multiple sub 2:40s since we last saw each other!!
Smashing race. Well battled against the elements.
We follow Max too. Excellent channel which ticks all the right boxes for us.
Thanks both! Yes he is a great guy!
Fair play Andy! Looked at strava and wow...your pacing considrring the weather and wind is unreal! Have the DNE3 for London Marathon and hoping for my first sub 4...they are bloody awsome!
Thanks buddy!! Wishing you the best of luck for your London training!
Great result Andy, congrats 👏. I raced Boddington 10 last year and found that loop to be a loop of 2 halves, the slight downhill has the wind behind you and is lovely, whereas the rest drags slightly uphill and the wind is across and then into you. By the third lap last year, it had broke me 😂
Brilliant running Andy - big congrats! I also did a 10-mile race yesterday but with nowhere near the depth of your race - think you would have won the one I did so to think there was 7 people in front of you is wild 😅
Also sounds like you managed the pacing really well given the windy conditions and being solo for much of it - top effort 👏🏼👏🏼
Shorts and singlet...and I'm doing 3hr long runs at -20C....life isn't fair! LOL
Well done Mr Raynor! Keep on rinse repeating, and bringing us the content.
Congratulations again! 🎉 Left it all out there.
Thanks buddy, I definitely did!
Great run, ur flying wit confidence and aggressive racing, wait till u get good conditions, ur last mile d fastest is a great sign
Thanks... cant wait to give it a good go in better conditions!
Morning all. Great effort= Excellent score. Like to Andy. Happy Monday.
Thanks buddy!
Great running Andy, congratulations on the PB!
Brilliant racing Andy!! 💪🏾🔥. Well done. Comes from all your hard work 🙌🏽. Can I ask which bicarb system you use? I’ve tried the maurten one but it’s expensive.
It’s so exciting seeing your hard work pay off. Exciting things lie ahead!! Great race, great vlog 👊🏻
Great Performance after being ill and fighting a strong wind. Very impressive Andy
Thank you!

Great race Andy!

Loops are great because you catch people until the end. 😁
Gives you extra motivation.
Yes, I quite like looped courses!
Great running Andy! Btw what is the techno music you had playing on the vid?

Thanks buddy, good luck this weekend!
@TheFODRunner thanks mate!! Going full send to try break 38 😬 recent fitness suggests it's possible so 🤞😂
Another outstanding race,Andy. Flying. My DNE3 got delivered last week. Planning a sesh in them tomorrow morning and if all well taking them to Alsager 5 mile race on Sunday.
Thanks! Hope you love them as much as I do!
@TheFODRunner did a sesh this AM. Granted on the treadmill but felt unbelievably comfortable. 100% race day shoe for this weekend. Let's see how we do.
The pre race caffeine supplements, I have no idea what magic potions are in them 2 things 😂 but caffiene wise I normally just get a black coffee with an extra espresso shot. What’s the actually difference? ✌️
Well done Andy. Your on Fire 🔥 💪
Thanks buddy
Another great performance. Going well right now. Good luck for Alicante
Thank you ☺️
Congratulations Andy 🎉
A really good race, video, and an inspiring journey!
I notice you move to and from the marathon, throwing in shorter distances. I'm thinking of doing the same to keep things fresh.
Do you follow broadly the same training structure, but with faster reps for shorter distances, to feflect the faster race pace effort? Or do you change your training more fundamentally for the shorter stuff?
Thanks! Yes, I love to do that... I like to rotate training blocks a lot to keep things fresh... one block i'll focus on marathon work, another maybe half work, then some hill work, double threshold work... i'll basically plan out some races throughout the year and see what blocks work best where!
Congrats!!! Great video!
Thank you 👊
My God Andy, great stuff, you are nailing your nutrition too 🎉
Thanks Amanda 😃
The go faster haircut definitely worked Andy!
it did haha!
the Boddington Behemoth is already a local folklore tale
Haha!
Phenomenal!

It was rather windy but at least we beat the rain.
Yes thank goodness we didn’t get the rain as well

Thanks Dan 👊
@ I was.nt sure if you seen mine is up now my vlog
Great race Andy. Just don't give all the credit to the shoes... you'd have done a fantastic time in wellies!
Wonderful 🙂
Thanks!
Must be the shoes ;)
Absolutely!
Which bicarb system are you using?
This one - www.bicarrb.com/
Whenever I can't see anyone ahead of me I also try to judge when the spectators or volunteers applaude the person behind me to estimate the distance :). Looking back is not allowed^^.
Indeed! I follow that rule for most of the race... but when I hear someone cheering quite close I often find myself glancing back... then i tell myself "you've just shown a sign of weakness you idiot" haha!
Lol thats you on a bike jiggling the camera up and down.
😂
