I think because it's hosted elsewhere more prominently. I totally agree with you though, it's insanely good. If you like this check out Caribou too. And Floating Points. And Four Tet.
This has to be the seminal Essential Mix of the first lockdown. The whole slightly surreal left field lean of the whole 2 hours conjured up perfectly what weird times we were living in. The track just before the hour mark was the pinnacle of this.....'This is a wicked tune' ...a track trying to be happy distorted through the reality of the pandemic. I don't know whether Jamie xx s playlist was intention al but it sure resonated
One of VERY few producers that actually know how to DJ instead of just bangin out fairly boring sets. He's inventive with his mixes. I struggle to think of any other producers that do that. Acre American. Hardly any UK. R.i.p DJ ing.
I think this is insanely good. So varied. I know I already said that but man this is very very very good. Nothing like anything I have listened to before.
Phillip Glass right in the beginning. If you can find this obscure film where this soundtrack is featured you will be delighted. It's from a 3 part series. The dvd Samsara was Inspired from them.

Quite fun hearing Daffodil and Breathe on In Waves after listening to this mix a gazillion times haha.
2 of the worst songs on the album lol
I was surprised to hear them in a mix from 2020, I thought they were new as I first them in the 2024 album release
@prestonphillips3375 You’re entitled to your opinion but they’re absolutely in my top 5. Especially Breather, that song is special
Why is nobody else talking about how awesome this set is?!?!?!?

I have got to say sometimes I complain about the BBC license fee but it is so worth it for the amazing content we get advert free.
Don't pay that shit, it's a suggestion, not an obligation.
This mix is sooo good
Finally found it after the original was taken off RUclips!!!
