My21rst 6.2 extended cab with 22’s and the performance package in satin steel metallic Don’t like the new dash or the front end. I like my shift on the column. Extended cab no longer available with a 6.2 which makes my truck rare.
Would I be able to get a truck just like this but with Column shifter? Idk why trucks don’t have them anymore. Or it’s hard to come across newer trucks with it.
Love it and plan on buying one in about 90 days. Did you order this one? I can't find one locally with leather which my wife insists on getting. If so, were you able to get the same deal as you would with one already in stock? Thanks for the video.
This overpriced dealer installed BS needs to stop, these trucks are already too damn expensive without dealers trying ot pad the bottom line with nonsense add-ons. Let the customer decide if they want to add anything to their vehicle.
There’s different options. I just bought the RST 2024 without the 4x4 and without the HD 360 cameras. A few other less features. Sticker price on mine was 56k. Dealer had 10k in rebates plus I had Costco and one other rebate.
@@enriquedelacruz446 The truck in this video has nearly $3000 in dealer add-on, indicated by the addendum sticker next to the actual window sticker. These are not factory options. That's what I'm criticizing. The only way to get a truck configured the way you want it is to special order it. Buying off the lot might get you a slightly better discount, but you'll be paying for some dealer installed BS you might not want.
@@dlg5485 absolutely agree with you on that. I asked them to remove all those dealer add ons or find me one that hadn’t been touched yet by the dealer. Luckily I found a dealership in SA that respected my request. They were great to work with. SA Ancira Winston
People complaining about the price. Simple answer is don’t buy. Some people don’t want to wait 90 days to get a truck ordered exactly the way you want. So dealers sell tons of truck and know the features that are appealing.
My RST is coming in tomorrow, same truck except I have the 3.0 Duramax for the power plant, and the midnight back accents. Long (6.5') box is a must for motorcycle and 4-wheeler transport. Really😁 anxious to get it!
As someone who's not doing any heavy towing/hauling (mainly using the bed for dirty lawn tools and the occasional large/odd shaped purchases) how reliable is the 2.7 engine for a daily driver? Would it be foolish to get that engine for a daily vehicle with the intention of keeping the truck the next 5-10 years?
Debating of trading my 21 custom for 24 rst TurboMax. Is it worth it for $17k out the door? I’m only at 25k miles. Rst has the nicer headlights, heated seats, nicer interior, auto high beam, lane assist, etc. I’m thinking I get brand new vehicle that’s an upgrade ?
@@YTJoshuaMcDonaldI was thinking the same thing. Just wasn’t sure there was enough upgrades since the one you have here is loaded with all the packages.
I'm looking at the same truck RST with 6.5 foot bed with the 3.0 Duramax diesel. That sticker price is $66k with almost 7k off sticker in rebates. Yours is 65k ?
Everyone has a preference. I wish GM would re-engineer the steering wheel. I’m used to having the volume/audio seek buttons on the front. Who needs paddle shifters on a truck? If it’s a Corvette, yeah. I’ll skip GM.
Beautiful truck. Thank you for not using a computer voice. It means you care about your customers.
My ultimate dream truck, this or the LTZ or High Country!!
Damn…that makes me appreciate mine a tad more 😂🫡
I just ordered this exact truck with the Z71 off-road package and the 3.0 Duramax.
How do you like it?
How much?
Just got mine all black a few weeks ago loveee it
i love this color
I have this exact same truck but mine has the 6.2 and it's black. Awesome truck
Then it’s not the exact same truck

I have the exact same truck just missin the side step and has the 3.0 LZ0 diesel…just over 5k miles strong and lovin it!
Truck So 🔥 I’m Coming For It!!
Can't wait!
great review.
I would build one just like this plus sunroof and minus leather that would be perfect for me
Looks good, black badges would complete the look on this color.

You can, it would have the bench seat and not the center console though.

We ordered this one for our stock inventory, and the deals are month to month. Rebates on Silverado’s are very consistent year round though.
When are you getting the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High country with the Midnight Edition Package

This is an absolute gorgeous truck inside and out. I think for the price, this beats the F150 in terms of what you get and the way they look
That 327 has 11:1 compression. I only use premium grade (w/ t*chron) in mine.😉

Hopefully I get one by July, same color too but seats are clothed, probably get those changed
Are these trucks reliable

100% worth it

Worth it. I just did with my 22 Chevy custom 2wd

We usually take about 10k off. But I don’t have a diesel with the standard bed.
Electronic shifter is an absolute deal killer. Besides not seeing much difference between my 20’ RST and 24’ outside of the jumbo screen.
I bout mine lifted with 22by 12s and custom leather interior for 77
What is L mode
Low gear mode to help you go down or up steep hills
Mine has same engine but two exhaust pipes out the back
Hi no 4x4 low?
My 24 rst has 4 low.
@@crystalhaithcock4169so does mine
If you had the sunroof, I would buy it ALL CASH
is this truck getting a redesign this year? this model is 5 years old which is pretty old for GM
Guess you weren’t around in the 70’s and 80’s. The square body went from 73-87, and all the way to 91 for SUVs
What color is this
@Joshua McDonald: How much is it ? What's the HP in it ? Does it come in Nitro Yellow ?
Hey Chevy .
Black rims = black badging
Silver rims= silver badging
Ford Chevy and Ram have power passenger seats.Time to get with the times.

Is it an ev?
65k and no 4 low. Crazy you have to get trail boss, Z71 or ZR2 to get 4 low now.
I just bought a 2024 rst. It has 4 low. Not sure why this one doesn’t.
Mine has it as well

Leather seats and no ventilated? Such bs...simple air duct ran.
Do you ever snap back to reality and realize, WTF do we want, actual pickup trucks or over complicated pu**ymobiles that escaped from the Barby movie.
Shakes fist, yells you kids get off my lawn! Lol
