I drove one - great riding truck with great acceleration. They should give you the option to get one without DFM. I don't want to buy one with a built in defect.

I absolutely agree! I guess when the warranty runs out it’s an excuse to have a performance shop cam and tune it. 😎 Add maybe 60-70HP and eliminate the lifter issue.

Put 150k on my 2016 not a single problem with lifters. Change the oil with synthetic every 4000 miles and it's good

Bought a 24 Trailboss 6.2 LT. Nice truck but the ride with factory 20" wheels leaves a lot to be desired. Now they need to come out with a hand-held tuner for the "refreshed" models to get rid of the DFM!

That sounds like a sweet truck! Yeah, I wouldn’t want such big wheels on a truck over more sidewall. But once out of warranty you could always upgrade the camshaft and delete the system all together! 😉😎

I remeber racing a Silverado on the highway once in my FBO C6. I beat it but it was way too close. Come to find out, he had an LSA. I thought it was a regular silverado, I figured we were either even on power or i had the edge. And obviously i had a hige weight advatage. Should have been a blowout. But it wasnt a regular silverado lol.

Haha that is too close for comfort! I had a friend who LSA supercharger swapped his 6.2 Denali and that ultimately put down over 500awhp so I see why it could have been close, lol. 😂
