We look at 2 modified examples today both well over 450bhp owned by Stibs.
It’s great to see cars rising in value being used still because that’s what was always intended for them.
I can’t believe how easy these cars break traction even just a small dab of the throttle and the rear wants to go sideways.

Had a great time filming this one, got to respect old school well built cars.
I have noticed in editing Stibs didn’t wear a seatbelt. The initial opening scenes we went for this look to reflect “car being stolen”
I didn’t realise for the rest of video it wasn’t worn. 🙈oooops
It's True to life since thieves dont bother to put a seatbelt on and that's probably for the best lol

The blue one is my fave, sounds like a weapon and the Rouse Sport rear spoiler suits it well. The Red ones awesome too. Bloody hell I would even take the one in bits on the ramp.
Honestly, there was 5 inside and two outside, it’s was amazing to see so many in one place!
Obviously he didn’t speak in the video for kinda “comedy effect” he was super knowledgable and genuinely they’re the only cars he’s ever had! Cossies only. Loves fords through and through.....
@@CJK20 If I had a time machine I would go back buy as many as I could lay my hands on. Came close to buying a 400bhp rwd saff many years ago for just £4000, but I wouldnt go over £3500 as it needed some minor paint 🙄

fantastic video! i'm from the time when these cars were new and just a dream of owning one, much like today with the prices! but i've drove quite a few of my friends cossies over the years. they just feel and sound so good. a real drivers car, not like todays audis and bmws.

Owned an F reg saff 2wd in Flint Grey back 2013. Only thing that makes me miss it, is the current prices. Aside of that, it was a bank balance breaker. Even my current e46 m3 hasn't been as bad and I have it slightly longer than I owned the cossie 🤣

Yes the blue cossie all the way the wheel spin in first and second gear noise and the turbo boost noise did it for me love cossie since I was born

Sierra Cosworth is still my favourite car. 3 door or Sapphie, doesn't matter. Still amazes me how a big car with 204bhp stock can still beat modern hot hatches of similar weight and more power on a 0-60 time.

Wow! Small world! I rode in his dad's old rs500 a few times when I was a kid before it was written off by his missus. Old family friends. From what I remember stibs has had saphs since he the day he passed. Great to see the habbit hasn't died :)

CJK20 So many and weirdly some actually fixing them in the cold with my mates, which was a lot, me and a few mates all had RS’s of some description so it was team work a lot of the time, and the runs to knockhill to crail and some spirited driving on those journeys meeting other cars on the way up or down. National day too at donninton Park back in the day, the hotels the night before And after littered with Cosworths everyone out chatting and having a beer cleaning etc getting ready for the Sunday, Santa pod trips too as I’m in Scotland it was a weekend away for us kind of thing. Good times

Yeah it was a good few years ago now.. but it apparently was very likely the previous owner had a spare set of keys and immobiliser fob as he was known to the police for steeling cars 😂 such a shame I loved that car it was mint condition.

He drives like his passion for these was created when driving other people's Cosworths many years ago for order but developed a passion and actually knows how to drive one now Many a reformed Cosworth thief with a legitimate legal Cosworth obsession now . The colour “maroon “ that you refer to is actually known as magenta. I had one 2wd ,same colour but with silver and gold tiger stripes back in the day !

The 4x4 was the later version, I’m not sure for certain but I think a factory original rwd is more rare than a 4x4 as have seen a lot of 4x4 converted to rwd. I could be wrong am sure someone will correct me
