Good to see my old Cosworth again. Rod bought it from me back in 96/97. I had Mark @ MA Developments do the stage 3 work for me. Back then it had 803 injectors and a T35 turbo along with a RS500 intercooler. Great tuner and I’m pleased Rod took the car to this level. Amazing car and such a excellent story behind this as well. I remember buying FastFord in early 1999 seeing a white sapphire Cosworth sitting on 17” Rondell alloys tuned by M.A Developments, still my favourite Ford ever. Just wish I could buy a decent one now.

Great video about a truly magnificent car. It was only yesterday that I eventually got around to reading about it in last months Classic Ford magazine. The look on Adam's face when Mark nailed it was absolutely priceless!! Americans love their V8s, but as ford lovers know the cosworth engine is actually derived from the engine they wholeheartedly rejected, the humble PINTO!! I would love to see this car at Santa Pod if it ever went there, it'd be the best car of the day. Much respect and thanks to Mark for the years and work he's put into the car. I'm now going to watch the 5th gear episode this car was originally on, as I didn't watch it back in the day. RIP Rod.

These cars are something special. They are going up in value like crazy. When I was young my best mates dad bought a 4wd one in white in the Isle of Man. I went over to visit him and he took us round the TT course in it. Wow it was an experience I will never forget as a 13 year old. Everyone was looking at us as we drove by. 🙏

Years ago when I was in the alloy wheel business I remember speaking to Rod Tarry about a set of wheels for this very car. Although we didn't do business he seemed to be an absolute gent. Good to see this car is still around. :)

this is such a legendary car, Rod was such a top guy and had so much enthusiasm specially for his car and competition, Mark as well is a cool guy and boy can this guy drive, went out with him in his 400bhp escort cossie when i was in my teens and i found out then he was a gutsy driver. Mark has such an attention for detail other tuners don't have, would love a ride in Rods car now

Great video Adam. What a monster. I can’t begin to imagine what that level of power must feel like. My ‘88 Sapphire was running around 270BHP when I sold it. Tony Mannock at Turbo Systems took us out in his project 2WD the day I had a full stainless system fitted on mine. I think his was running around 450BHP at the time and that was mental 😁

I've love them since the 90s. Even though I've got a 400bhp MR2 Turbo now as my toy. Sierra cosworth are 👌🏾

That is just unbelievable! Used to see this at the Middlesex rsoc meet - rod was a cool guy and you could see the passion he had for the car and cars in general.
Good to see this still going and being used properly. It sounds unbelievable and boy does that shit! Nice one

That car is proper MENTAL! Plus what a pure diamond Mark was for showing you round it and taking it out and proper giving it some! I have a rough idea of how fast you were going when you give it your customary "that`ll do, that`ll do" and it was moving at a mad old rate haha!
