My experience is that that is still 'work-in-progress'. Sometimes signs are not recognised and speed changes follow Google-maps data, sometimes speed signs are recognised correctly. In The Netherlands, the matrix signs above the lanes are recognised correctly. A confirmative tap on the autopilot stalk activates the new speed setting in the car. After a certain distance (few hundred meters) the default speed for the road is shown again on the display so that you can return to that speed by pulling the autopilot stalk towards you for 2 seconds.
You seem to have forgotten to test auto-headlight that you now can not disable but is always enabled when activating selfsteer so you never know if it will fire up on oncomming traffic or a car 200m in front of you. (+ goes of mainbeam when you disengage selfsteer, like when you spot an animal on the road & press the brake...... ) I even had my car pulling sharply towards an oncomming truck when it was 10 meters in front of me in the rain....You bet i got a firm grip on the steeringwheel & woke up instantly . Never happened before on radar & then reacting on shadows & slowing down of no reason but limited vision as it tells. My 200 Km. daily "experience" is even worse than what Bjørn experiences here: ruclips.net/video/Wi0kmshoVDk/видео.html & honestly, i see people stopping buying Teslas when the word spreads on how bad it is & how Tesla spoils/destroy customers experience. Autolight & wipers has never ever worked in cars where the system is camerabased & now they have put steering on cameras alone too & from this month, all parkingsensors removed on new cars & the cameras should take care of this too? Tesla is an experience in slim production & costsaving. Not safety anymore as these systems are way below marketstandard & acts dangerously in certain conditions. My confidense in the cars selfsteer after "Vision" was installed is completely non-existent. Hope you enjoy Bjørns video :-)
I do not recognise the issues you seem to have with autopilot. I’ve used autopilot for >70.000 km now. The few cases where vision-based autopilot does unexpected things seem to be related to map data errors. Please remember that the current autopilot function and auto wipers neural net are still in development and are awaiting EU regulators’ approval of upcoming updates. So, for the time being: hands on the steering wheel when on autopilot! The Tesla Full Self Driving software version currently in beta testing in the USA is far advanced vs. what we have in Europe. And it will come to Europe in the near future.
@@TeslaLifeEurope My major issues with the car, like when it was trying to kill me (the truck) has all happened after "Vision" was installed in mine approx. 4 weeks ago. Sure there was a few "happenings" before but that was only really minor an happened +10x less than today. I always has my hand on the steeringwheel, god knows what else would have happened when i met that truck. Tesla has been on neural net for a very long time now. Do you honestly believe that after +5 yrs on TM3 they somehow by magic should get it working? The cameras simply arent fit for the purpose. Thats ex. why it takes 2½-3 seconds from you pass a car where the lights are dimmed until it can go back to main beam. The CCD is saturated with light. This +30 years electronics-technician is very sure Elon has put a dream in your head. Why else are they upgrading HW all the time? Your car should be perfectly fit for FSD many years ago & ultra simple automations like dimming of main-beam & autowipers that any other carmanufaturer in the world has been able to make in a way that for all of them is far superior to the "randomisation" Tesla provides..You must truly be a believer and i am utterly in disbelief of how Tesla has ruined my car in what is 100% costsaving and removing functionality of hardware i have paid for.
How was the sign recognition on highways?

@@TeslaLifeEurope thanks. Still waiting for the support in Germany
Great video!any critical situation?
