    those waymo cars are crazy, ive ridden a few in phoenix az. theyre more common than uber lol. its crazy not having a driver and youre just sitting in the back of the car and it just takes off

      I think they will be $599 when released this year but I predict it won’t be long before wearables like these come down to $200. After testing these I predict smart glasses these going to be as popular as smart watches. It literally makes you like Ironman!

      That's about the price of s higher-end pair of normal Ray Bans or Oakleys (which are marked up ridiculously, for sure) -- so $200 isn't likely to happen soon.

    I wish we could get frames for such glasses with a little bit of curvature, if they are going to be that large. Something like Oakley's Holbrook XLs.

      @@markylon haha I was thinking that when someone else commented on this video saying they couldn’t hear my voice over my music. Sounded fine on my Mac, when listened on my iPhone I could tell what he meant! So yes…. I agree… RUclips needs that function!

      @@dlittle239 my wife said the same thing. To be honest, it was never my intention to use that footage. I didn’t expect it them to be that good. So I didn’t even mic him (or myself up) at that point, but then it blew me away! Now I wish had mic’d him up properly and yes cleaned the lenses! 👓

      Well if it was anything like the guy speaking to me in Chinese, I’d imagine really good. I’d be interested to give it more of a thorough test! It did 40 languages.

      @@_slickyricky they are called Rokid, those specific translation / smart teleprompter glasses will be available later this year. They have lots of other types too.

    7:10 no airline will let you take on board- due to lithium battery limitations

      Actually the battery 🔋 slides out super easily and its power was under the airlines restrictions for carry on. They said it was developed with that in mind. Airlines max is 100Kh this was 30Kh.

    NVIDIA really stole the show imo, the RTX5090 being that good for so cheap blew my mind! Cosmos was also awesome although it had less consumer relevance

      It was definitely a ‘NVIDIA’ event this year for sure!! The usuals like Google or BMW didn’t seem to have much impact this year as they normally do.

    Your statement that a 549usd card gives the same performance as a 4090 is nasty lie. Uplift is about 20-30% in rasterisation.

      I understand where you are coming from. I think a lot of the improvements are all to do with AI so less visual than a new gadget etc. It was definitely the year of the wearables. 👓🕶️

    What a poor reporting not informing us how the drone is powered-gas -electric? Flight time ? Don’t forget to mention Slovakian flying car which is powered by regular gasoline which you can refuel anywhere…

      Thanks for your interest in the technical details! The Xpeng Land Aircraft Carrier is actually quite impressive - the eVTOL can fly for up to 2 hours on a single charge at speeds up to 90km/hour (55 mph), and the carrier vehicle can recharge it up to 6 times. The vehicle uses an 800-volt silicon carbide power platform and has a combined range of over 621 miles. With so much amazing tech to cover in a 15-minute video, I couldn't get into every specification, but I appreciate you raising these points. And I'd love to learn more about the Slovakian flying car you mentioned - sounds like an interesting comparison!
