AD and Reaves need big games by attacking Joker and Jamal. They aren’t great defenders and their offense suffers when tired. Lebron should focus on facilitating and should have 15-20 assists. Rui needs to make his layups and dunks. DLO needs more 3s. Jaxson needs to be super aggressive on Joker and Vincent needs to do the same on Jamal. TP should continue to be a scorer. I need 16 points from him since the rest of the bench can’t score

Concerning Darvin, I would like to know what the disconnect is. I think it is either the team not trusting his play calling or LBJ freelancing them out of the play calls. I think it's more LBJ being ball dominant and taking them out of the offense.

Rui was the 7th or 8th guy for the wizards. Reaves was an undrafted free agent. And the rest of the league was tiring of dlos inconsistent play. They just aren't good enough.

I'm good with the lakers going through Denver early. But tbh, the only reason I think to have gone the other route, is to give us more time to get Vando and Wood back. That way by the time we see Denver we'd have a much better chance of a healthy roster with maybe even some rythem on Wood and Vando. No other reason. Just seems smart.
Hate to say it but it's looking like another sweep. Very sad because LeBrons legacy will suffer after that. But over time, they'll look at the bigger picture and see him as definitive #2 all time regardless.

We fired Frank Vogel who helped us win a ring and made us the most elite defense in the NBA and created floor spacing despite having two centers on the floor. Darvin got us swept last year, fighting for the play in two seasons in a row, and now blowing 20-point leads against the Nuggets. He's got to go, and he cannot handle the job in LA. maybe somewhere else.

What killed them was 9 damn missed 3 pointers. Basketball is a game of momentum. Lakers had them backed against the ropes and started hurling up 3s. And that's when the Nuggets chipped at that 20 point lead. That and ref help.

Think about it, the Lakers were up 20 on the road vs. The best team in the league. They definitely have what it takes to win it all if they could just get past these nuggets. I haven't lost all hope. If the Lakers win today, it's a series.
I would put AD and Lebron in a pick and roll early to allow Aaron Gordon to switch and we can start AD establishing himself against Gordon early on. We need to punch 1st.
Lakers can probably hold a lead much more efficiently in LA, away from that elevation. They looked gassed those last few minutes.

I am NOT a coach but I was watching game; Lakers got a 19 point lead and next possession Lecoach started running the game and went away from DLo and AR and everyone stopped playing letting Lecoach running clock out and throwing stupid shots. They didn’t go to AD, at this point Denver gave up and switched to Aaron Gordon to guard AD. There was the mismatch but for some reason Lakers got scared of all world Gordon and gave ball to Davis once, he drove but was fouled by Gordon Refs swallow the whistle and Lakers thought AD wasn’t gonna get a call and never gave ball to HIM again.
