    He is the greatest tailback to have ever played at OU. As far as pure talent goes he really might be the greatest tailback in NFL history. I was glad to have seen his entire college career as a season ticket holder at OU.

    I'm sorry but Adrian Peterson was the 2004 hiesmen winner. Only reason he did not get it was because he was freshmen and an OU player won it the year before.

      SoonerMagicJ And how are we forgetting Herschel Walker? He was the 1st Heisman snub ever, just because he was a Freshman and they didn't give it to Freshman back in the 70's. It was a Senior only award.

    Hearing Fournette being mentioned in the same breath as Peterson. Fournette's a good back, but he's slower in pads and doesn't have the burst of speed, the acceleration or the explosiveness as Peterson has.

    • @rikocreole1626
      @rikocreole1626 9 лет назад

      not true fournette is quicker and faster then ap in college ap is more aggressive runner.

      +drake bone Not true at all

    • @rikocreole1626
      @rikocreole1626 9 лет назад

      Umm yes fournette runs a 4.3 40 as a freshmen ap ran a 4.5 or 4.4 what is you say its already been proven hes faster then peterson was in college

    • @solomoncooper6491
      @solomoncooper6491 9 лет назад +1

      drake bone Where did you read/hear he ran a 4.3 in college? I know he ran a 4.4 at the NFL combine but only because he was still recovering from a shoulder injury and couldn't go all out. He has said before it is around the low 4.3s I believe him too.

    • @rikocreole1626
      @rikocreole1626 9 лет назад +1

      So as a sophomore you telling me Peterson who at the time was 20 pounds lighter ran a 4.3.....noooo he did not but fournette does

  • @IAmTetsuo1

    Even though hes plenty powerful already..his determination and will to score every time he gets the ball is what makes him what he is...i think 36chambersmc36 said it best...no one has as much determinations in the nfl.

    You will never find a better running back than Adrian Peterson. He works hard, never gives up, and fights for every inch he runs for. You can slow him down, try to contain him, and load the box all you want. But eventually, the beast will get lose. He will make you pay, one way or another.

    I agree, Mcfadden is a great back and will make some Pro Bowls when he is in the league, but A.D. can be put in the same category as Dickerson, Sanders, Payton, Brown, Smith, and Dorsett...I don't think Mcfadden can be or will be. I do hope Mcfadden wins the Heisman.

    I've said it many times already and stand by it, Peterson is the best RB to enter the league since Steven Jackson. I think AD will be widely considered at top 5, top 8 at worst RB by the start of next year. His physical gifts and running instincts are absolutely incredible
