Check out Oliver Stone's series of interviews of Putin in St. Petersburg. He's a very wise and intelligent man who led Russia out of the economic disaster arranged by the Americans in the '90s.

Verizon didnt allow him to come out of the closet, so he left his contract when he could so he could be open about his marriage, and then worked for Sprint. One of the first Sprint commercials was a middle finger at Verizon for not letting him come out because it might "ruin the brand"
When I first heard Sprint/Verizon guy say, "Hey. Remember me? I used to ask "Can you hear me now?" for Verizon. Now I like Sprint yo." I was like, "OMG TRAITOR! YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER SNAKE!" So funny that she pointed that out.
Just read the first comment about Verizon not letting him say that he was gay! That's messed up! It makes sense now! I knew that something personal had to have happened between him and Verizon for him to turn to the other side and agree to send so much shade back their way! I had a few theories: I thought it was just petty revenge for Verizon dropping his ad campaign. I also considered that Sprint might have just payed him a SHITLOAD OF $$$ to sell his soul. Turns out it was something much more justifiable!
MrRoots7, You're going to need to provide some sort of source on that claim. I did a quick search and the only mentions of being gay and coming out were in reference to people using gay slurs in public as the ad campaign got more popular. He mentioned in an Atlantic interview in 2011 that he was hesitant to come out in fears of it hurting his success. There was no mention of where Verizon "didn't allow him to come out of the closet". And he didn't leave his contract. Verizon decided to not renew it when it was over in 2011 then 2016 was when the first commercials appeared for Sprint after Sprint approached him. Do your part to help keep us in a fact-based world.

The authors of this show tried really hard to portray Putin as a retarded criminal idiot.
It's so dishonest they had to carefully find little tidbits of him making faces to hide the fact that for most of the interview she looked like a fool and he looked serious and sober.

Perhaps you didn't notice this, but the piece wasn't about Putin nor the interview - it's about Megyn Kelly, who was using an interview with a world leader to legitimize herself as a journalist, it being Putin is almost incidental; the point is that Kelly for 12 years was a rumor monger, race baiter, and professional liar - as opposed to a journalist - and if she wants to rehabilitate her image, she can START by admitting her past, rather than acting as if she's above what she's been doing for a living most of her career, and maybe even apologizing for PRETENDING to be a journalist on Fox - but then she'd hafta admit she was editorializing for 12 yrs, and own some of the terrible things she espoused, which is exactly why she's trying to gloss over her Fox days and act as if she's always been a serious reporter.
.Finally someone says out loud what I have been thinking. Both, about the Fox/NBC gal and the Verizon/Spring guy!

I'm not going to say I know everything on the subject, but one major question, can you name one of those elections where we led to the election of a man like Donald Trump? Or when you do have facts on your side, not using them to pound and belittle the other side. People might be willing to listen if they weren't also being talked down to or made fun of. I don't like Michelle Wolf's delivery. I've given her chance after chance to redeem herself, thinking that maybe the writers are not giving her good enough material, but it's not the material, it's her delivery of the material. I don't think she has a good comedic sense of timing.

I know someone who went to the USSR when it was still called that, I want to say 1988 or '89 for a senior school trip. She had a great time except she said they were followed all the time, not allowed outside their hotel at night and were once escorted back when they tried to go for a walk, for their own safety I imagine.lol.
