I have been using them for the past 10 months since my daughter was born. All I can say is that they have helped me sleep. Bose has made huge mistake abandoning the project because there is nothing like it on the market.

I worked in retail and sold them to a lot of costumers and received a lot of positive feedback. My boss had a pair of both versions too and he was absolutely excited about them.

Please bring these back, Bose!! I can't sleep without mine and went to buy a replacement and can't believe they are discontinued.
Old stock is still available in my country, but people are selling them for the equivalent of $450USD. I’m really used to mine and actually love them but I can’t afford $450USD at the moment. Stock is running out and I feel like crying atm. I’ve never slept better than with the SleepBuds. It will be a matter of time before I lose this luxury. Life is a b***h sometimes…
No idea if it’s good and no idea if preorders will be fulfilled (but it sounds like some have already started to be)
But the team who made the sleepbuds made their own startup called Ozlo, and they’re working on a similar product.
I used these for almost 2 years probably and then one of them died... then I found out I couldn't even buy a replacement or reach out to support because it was discontinued. I feel like this is such a good product and there is room for improvement in the tech and people will buy it but not at the level of say standard headphones. There is a kickstarter for a replacement that was done involving some of the same engineers so I am looking forward to checking out.

Love my sleepbuds 2. I was looking to buy a backup pair and saw they stopped selling so confused. First Bose product in decades I actually use.
I've got both sleep headphones, the sleep A10s (or whatever) constantly disconnect & reconnect while trying to sleep & their batt life was like 2 hours.
The bose ones are absolutely my fave, i own other sleep style bands & buds too.
I had both iterations of the Bose sleep buds, life changing for my sleep issues. Once my sleep buds 2 started having issues I just wanted to buy a new pair, there's no price on good sleep. Devastated to learn they are discontinued. Bought the Ankar, better than nothing bot not as good in my opinion for comfort or masking.
Bose made a wise decision not using li-ion batteries that could explode or catch on fire inside someone's ear

I love them! Perfect for city life! Worth it! My case charged them unplugged . You have to make sure they light up, that means they’re charging!
I still use mine every night, for those having sound issues in 1 earpiece, use some Isopropanol Alcohol to clean the black mesh, mine have had intermittent sound issues and this fixes and cleans every time.
Bummed that these have been discontinued. I live in a busy urban area and these were the only things I've tried that really helped me calm down, tune it out and sleep. Mine are dying (left bud doesn't work any more) and I never got more than 8 hours battery life out of them but jeez when they work they really work.
I cannot sleep without my sleepbuds! If mine stop working, I will have to move into my own bedroom!

the bose sleepbuds are simply perfect. The price is not a problem if the works so nice.
The problem is after one year, the left bud stop working, and I read that a lot of people have this problem 😞
I bought these! Desperate because of my tinnitus. They were really lacking in functionality. I learned to late that they offered a turn in. One sometimes developed a clicking sound. I only used them a few months.

I literally have 3 pairs of these so that when one fails I have a backup haha...they are the best I've tried so far (best battery life by far) and so far Bose is great about replacing them when they fail (they always do). I hope they come out with number 3 soon! My husband snores like a freaking chainsaw.
So sad these were discontinued. I was counting on them for the rest of my life. I have tinnitus really bad and these were the only ones that worked. Please bring them back! Mine died after two years but would happily buy another pair.
But I want to know more about the new ear buds you recommended.. what batteries do they use and will they last longer than Bose?

Swore by mine for almost two years until I updated the software to version 3.0.11 and I keep getting error message saying it cannot find the right sleep bud. Tried everything but no joy. Has anyone else encountered the same issue?
I have the Soundcore Sleep A10’s and they are just as small, half the price and you can use them just like regular earbuds
Love them as well. I would gladly pay $250 per year for a new one if they only last one year. Even with all the issues, I can’t live without them. Had several alternatives as a backup but they don’t come close to the original Sleepbuds II

I loved my sleep buds II. However they broke after two years and most importantly after warranty. At that point the Buds were discontinued. I felt ripped off.
The sleep buds II, literally saved my sleep. It had been over 10 years since I got a full night sleep. I still use them, and I don't know what I'll do when they finally break

I was willing to pay it (and was going to again until I found out they're not sold now). I got them in Jan 2021, I got the SB II's and have used them since, but my right one is super quiet compared to the left.

Been great 👍 but as you we’re saying having the problem with one being more quiet then the other. Going to try and contact Bose to see if they have any refurbished models left 🤞
They never updated their software and most sounds were 4 second loops that had background noice like dog barking that drow me crazy.
That’s too bad I was gonna buy a pair a few days ago until I just could not find them at all. Figured maybe my memory failed me..but I suppose they were just discontinued, what a shame

Could it possibly be that Bose was trying to make sure that you wouldn't have a risk of fire or excessive heat buildup when using a product that would have a lot of trouble dissipating heat? I've slept with my Pixel phones between my pillows or close to my head quite a few times before, and by the time morning comes, it's usually extremely hot to the point that the back glass burns to the touch. I feel like something so small that would be playing sounds for so many hours while also being tucked into your ears and most likely suffocated would have a very high chance of overwhelming a lithium-ion battery.
My thought too! While rare, Li-Ion do catch on fire. Imagine having one overheat and burst into flames while are sleeping and unable to react very quickly.
Li-ion is fire hazard?

take a look at ozlo sleepbuds, this is basically sleepbuds III without being named by bose.
Ozlo sleep buds are basically the Bose sleepbuds 3. Same team of designers, better battery, and can play any Bluetooth media as long as you’re within range of the charging case. 👍🏻🎧

Actually I bought 2 of them and both are not working and I had to return them!
I think they were really intended for traveling. So they expected most people would only use it once in a while, when they were sleeping in an unfamiliar or noisy place. But people ended up using them at home every night and that quickly killed the battery.
I bougth them more than 1 year ago. They are amazing to sleep better and I love them, but the problem in my case is that my sleepbuds have technical problems aparently because of the battery, and when I wanted to execute the warranty some months ago to solve this problem, they said me "The product is no more available" and they wanted to give me a normal headphones, really useless for me. So I'm still trying to solve the problem with Bose but now already out of the warranty. I know the patent of this products is owned now by Ozlo, and I really hope they fix cases like this toghether.
I use qc 35 for sleeping and let me tell you that ANC make wonders. Specially in noisy neighborhood.
Big fan of the product, but my left ear stopped working. I was able to sent them back. They also stopped with the refurbished versions, so they offered me a refund. I ordered the A10's now, hope they are as good.
My left side has stopped also and can’t be located grrr
@@Megannicole-ve4qj I'm in the same boat but the right earbud not being located. I updated the software to 3.11.0 and then it stopped working. I'm assuming as the product is discontinued and they don't want to continue to offer support to the product.

bought some that were very comfortable for a price of 3 dollars I listen to Asmr when sleeping and it works well
I have owned both the Bose SB2 (and had them replace and replacement sent back bad) and currently own the SC A10 since beginning on 2023. Bose was comfy but had sound issues for me on one bud and battery issue like others. SC A10 work well but recently (sending in for replacement) they also are suffering from low sound output (on a full charge) in one bud. I have enough sleep issues with Sleep Apnea, i dont need the headaches too from this. Come on companies, get it right please!
I do now know why Bose did not continue support theese excellent earbuds. but I do recommend the A10 sleep buds as a replacement if you need one. Boose please get back into the game and release sleep buds III.
The problem with the Soundcore is the volume doesn't get as loud as the Bose.
My left bud 2 connects, but no sound.
The con of this buds is the closed system. I just using it prob around 2 year and absolute every sound makes me annoying, and fkn bose system prohibits to download a lofi sound, or just another chill sound on board. FE there is a sleep cycle app, and it also have sounds for sleeping. and the library of sounds is so good in contrast w sleepbuds
Which sleepbuds can I get these days with the best noise cancelling? I have terrible noise coming from upstairs neighbors for months disturbing my sleep daily.

Man I feel you. I deal with noisy neighbors as well. Both my upstairs and adjacent. I end up buying the Bose QC ultra headphone and the ANC on it is top notch but can’t really sleep with them as I am a side sleeper so if you’re a back sleeper the headphones will be good for you. As for me, I’m in search for and earbuds with the same feature and quality of the Bose QC ultra headphones.
@@mschelle721 I ended up sleeping with foam earplugs cus they're the best, turned on an hair purifier for white noise and this ruclips.net/video/-uM5oFvuQbE/видео.html and my life is saved. i aimed the speakers at the ceiling to reflect the sound waves back and it's doing a great job. i can sleep!
@@mschelle721i bought AirPods and will try to sleep on my sides with one bud on my ear. I’m also planning to either order pillow with hole or get sleephones and try to block the neighbors with the noise..also considering the anker sleep buds. My neighbors are not that loud, just occasional foot steps middle of the night but when my nervous system is not regulated I cannot tolerate any disturbances. If I keep waking up I loose any hour of decent sleep.
Battery life with Soundcore A10 is 4-6 hrs. Also not nearly as comfortable as SBII.

I got a full refund on the first ones myself. I hope they come out with one that has ANC. 8-hour battery life is good enough for me.
Just got offline with the Bose chathelp, not much help it was. In return for this inferior product they offered me: the same product! No refund or whatsoever. And it was quite a difficult chat too, my questions weren’t answered and most of the sentences were hard to understand. Keep looking for a way to solve this, the shop where I bought the buds might be able to help.
I’ve has my sleep buds II since they came out and I love them but they no longer connect to my phone so I was really pleased with the recommendation of the Anker sleep 10.

@@ascendingnightvocals259 Well, it's a passive noise blockage, so you cannot expect to filter absolutely everything. They are comfortable but I cannot wear them throughout the whole night.
I think they have occasional sales on Amazon.
I had these sleep buds a few years ago, but they didn't work because I lost them during my sleep. and to be honest, a real noise-cancellation headphone such as AirPods Pro 2nd or Sony wf-1000xm4 is so much better, the downsize obviously is that you can't turn over during sleep.
I think the best solution should neckband, it give you wireless capabilities and should make ear tips very small with anc

Lithium ion batteries combust with heat aka sleeping on your bud for a whole night will make it pretty hot

Best sleep buds I’ve ever had and I’ve spent over 5k on trying new ones that don’t work ever. Not even for one night. The only Brand I haven’t tried is Oslo and the new ones that the people that left Bose and made basically the same but better Bose sleep buds. My battery is now dead in my Bose sleep buds. I’m so tired.
sleep bud 1s were terrible. Connection errors, charging errors. Difficuly to retrust the brand after the experience.
I own both the Quieton's as well as the Bose sleepbuds. I am a real consumer - this is not some fake review. Four months after I purchased the Quieton's, the sound cancelling feature stopped working making the product useless. After a long six week waiting period, Quieton replaced the earbuds. Guess what, four months later, the same thing happened the noise cancelling failed. Changing the foam earpieces did not do anything. Quieton refused to do anything saying their liability is limited to the cost of the earbuds. I was entitled to just this one replacement and they were not standing by their product. Tough luck. $300 out the window.
Don't deal with this company. They have a problem with their product and they refuse to own up to it. Bose at least stood behind their product.
I prefer sleep headbands to these earbuds because they don’t need to be inserted into the ears.

I have the sound core A10's. I bought them last summer and I have used them just about every night. I love them. Although a few days ago 1 of the buds went quiet.
My left ear bud volume went really low and then the right one would not work when I laid on that side , big waste of money and I won’t buy Bose products again

I’ve been through so many products in a futile attempt to get anc and side sleep. The quiet on 3.1 were the absolute worst. Was lucky to get my money back, as I bought them from a local Australian company. Lots of other people had a really tough time getting refunds directly from the company. I’ve given up.

Always was an overpriced crap product due to the unreliable Bose app, and "one ear bud not detected" error message when trying to use them.
Never owned a pair of Bose Sleepbuds 2 that was reliable and didn't cause me problems, and straight up stopped working once the warranty expired.
Had 3 pairs over the years and all stopped working. Sometimes left earpiece and last time right earpiece. Bose have become a joke. My Bose frames have also stopped charging and even my qc30 stopped charging. I will never buy Bose again.

I'm told the main issue with these sleeping earbuds in particular is that you can't play your own audio.
To me, that is an absolute deal breaker because I can't fall asleep to the same sound every night, I just can't.
My overactive brain starts analyzing whatever is playing then, so it's best for me to keep it fresh and there are only so many options with these buds.
I went with the Soundcore a10s exclusively because you can use them like regular earbuds, on top of the sound quality being pretty decent for earbuds meant for sleeping.
I 100% believe that is where Bose screwed up, WITHOUT QUESTION The decision to make these exclusively for sleep and offering no ability to connect to regular Bluetooth and stream any old music killed these buds, I will die on this hill and there are thousands here with me.
And I think the reason they did that was to keep the price down, Bose earbuds and headphones are notoriously expensive.
$250 for a pair of Bose earbuds is actually a hella good deal, then when you throw in the fact they are specialized earbuds, one can only wonder how much they would have been if Bose would have made them fully featured earbuds.
You could probably add another $150 or $200 to the price tag.
And honestly, they should have just done that, people would have bought them, THEY'RE BOSE.
It's not like they're a startup company that has absolutely everything to lose with a product failing, they are one of the most, if not, the most established speaker company in the world and they managed to screw these up horribly because they clearly did not have enough faith in them.
Other companies are having success in this field now, like Anker, I also hear Samsung might be developing sleeping earbuds, and high-end earbuds sales seem to be overall up compared to past years (I'll chalk that up to people finally realizing cheap headphones offer a cheap experience).
I think Bose needs to relaunch these and go all out.
Make them fully featured, give them excellent battery life, give em the best sound you can while still maintaining the correct balance for sleeping, and for god's sake, make them compatible with regular Bluetooth and any app.
I guarantee, even if they are $350 or $400, they will find their place and will become a welcome staple to the Bose family, and that's ignoring the fact they honestly were welcome to begin with.
It would be such a waste if they didn't, I prefer Sennheiser over Bose since because BASS, but Bose has the best ANC in the industry BY A LONG SHOT and it seems peculiar that they wouldn't continue to apply that technology to the sleeping earbuds, they're doing a fantastic job using it with their QuietComfort line, why stop there?

I can tell you, the version 2 are horrible!!!!!! I used the first version which were awesome. Version 2, you get noise masking and ear hot spot Bose screwed these up horribly. They are not slim, they hurt and are horrible. Don’t waste you money. Find something else. I am a Bose fanatic!! Hate these things!!!

Bose sucks. Their batteries in many products are junk. I had the horseshoe neck speaker - junk. Sports ear buds - junk. Sleep Buds I & II - junk. All battery issues.
