    Glad your back making golfing content again! Been watching for a while, dont think I’ve ever commented...
    After 2 months of the wheels being well and truly off of my game and not being able to get close to my handicap (11.7) . A week or two ago I sat and watched your video of the lesson with Liam and took those drills and the preshot rotation feeling out of it. Then Friday night I sat and watched this video. A new insight to course management for me, went out and shot 78, broke 80 for the first time. Just purely missing to the right area (75% of the time 😂) keep up the great work, look forward to more video’s!

    Great video Rob, getting this kind of information from guys playing the game for a living is youtube gold! Thank Liam and keep up the good work. You recommended Alex Evan’s to us last year who does a lot of this type of stuff with Paul Waring, maybe you could give him another plug on your channel, he is still struggling for subs and it would be a shame to lose him.

    He is right. I changed my game overnight by learning how to think. Some people can LET the process happen. I have to actively MAKE it happen. I honestly think that's why there are so many people on tour that are perceived as stiff or boring.....honestly its that they are thinking about their next shot without breaks and it takes that much concentration for many.....thats why people like Trevino were anomalies. Keep up the great work sir. And all the best to Liam.....I hope you can play loose with intensity!

    Management is what wins matches imo. If you're even close to being competitive, I'd say that management, when done properly, will win you more matches than you lose. In fact if you lose, it's usually chance accident, or you just played poorly. Either way, management is key to everything.

    • @RobMcGarr
      @RobMcGarr  5 лет назад +1

      I think it's so often overlooked. People think "It's no use me having a strategy because I don't hit it where I want to" but that's the whole point!

      Carry-on with what Connor said, remember how lucky I am to be on the golf course. I know plenty of people young or old who cant play golf or who have died etc let alone those from poorer places.

      If you’re a high handicapper, use your shots. If you get two shots on a tough hole, play it like a par 6; don’t try and crush the driver down the middle with out of bounds left and hazard right.

      It's all about misses though. Obviously if you miss your target by 100 yards you're going to be struggling no matter what but I think most golfers could make the game a bit easier for themselves with better strategy.
