As a Montanan, I can confirm that we race by hang gliders through the Rocky Mountains to a rock-and-roll tune whilst nearly getting crushed by boulders and narrowly avoiding pine trees.
Although, to be fair, Wario's Gold Mine would've been a *MUCH* better choice. We're called the Treasure State for a reason. Everyone moved to Montana during the gold rush to strike it rich. One of our biggest things is "last chance," because it was everyone's last chance to strike it rich, and they did.
I think Neo Bowser City would be a better fit for Washington. Seattle gets ALOT of rain and the Cyberpunk theme kinda goes well with Seattle having tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon

As someone who lives in New Jersey, to get some explanation as to why it's referred to as "The Garden State" - There's still a lot of controversy whether or not that's what it should be called but the reason it is is because farming was (not sure if it still is) one of the top three most profitable forms of income here, absolutely massive amounts of land are actually dedicated to farming in spite of all of the cities as well, and we apparently have one of the largest varieties of crops in the entire country.

@@jeremymklinger Lake Lanier which was made to power and give fresh water to Atlanta and other surrounding cities, was also built over a few drowned towns including one with a cemetery that they never moved before flooding it. The lake also has a history of drownings which is why I kinda figured Boo Lake would’ve been a really good track for Georgia.
As a Missourian, Riverside Park was a perfect fit due to both of the big rivers being in our state and also because of the amazing scenery in Southern Missouri. Choco Mountain being West Virginia was also perfect because of its mountainous Appalachian appearance and because the music sounds like it’s being played by West Virginian hillbillies

I would say Waluigi Pinball makes sense for Nevada as pinball is a game in Vegas. You also said mariokart so I thought Louisiana could be Luigi's Mansion because it kinda looks like a swamp, but it's not in mariokart 8.

As a Washingtonian, Cloudtop Cruise is spot on. Also, neat little fact, on my profile of MK8DX, I had Cloudtop Criuse as my most played track for a long while. Mainly because i had a difficult time getting the 3 star ranking on the faster modes (150cc, Mirror and 200cc).

Maple Treeway is one of my favorite tracks since it reminds me of great childhood memories of leaf piles and trying out different maple syrups at open houses during maple syrup season.
