- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now has 96 tracks, and with the Booster Course Pass all wrapped up, this should be the final lineup.
So with that, here's every single track in the game ranked from WORST to BEST, and if you disagree on some of my picks, start a discussion in the comments.
BIG thank you to Mankalor for the collab on this video, it was great to hear an opposing perspective to break up my biased rants, and it was especially good because the guy is an insane Mario Kart player. Go check out his channel if you haven't already, tons of great stuff.

The F-Zero tracks are always a blast on 200cc. There's been a few times I've won on both rocking my Captain Falcon combo.
If you think bone-dry dunes is underrated, remember I have it in my top 8!

I only promise to try.
A couple discrepancies in our lists:
1) I think the traffic gimmick is incredibly fun (especially at 200CC) and elevates any courses incorporating it significantly.
2) I would swap Moo Moo Meadows and Donut Plains 3, there's just so much more to watch out for and think about in the former, but I recognize you value shortcuts more than me
3) New York Minute is so darn ugly
4) Rome Avanti is peak
5) Neo Bowser City is peak
6) Tick-Tock Clock is mustard yellow and kinda ugly.
7) Super Bell Subway is S Tier
8) Singapore Speedway is S Tier
9) N64 Rainbow Road is S Tier - I disagree with the sentiment that Rainbow Road NEEDS to be hard, that philosophy has been super inconsistent
10) Wild Woods is so good that even though it was given a decent spot I still think it's too low
11) On 200CC Bangkok is super cramped and painful to drive through IMO
12) Dragon Driftway is just NBC but slightly worse
13) Ice Ice Outpost in 20th is so based
14) DK Summit has got some real bad camera issues and half-pipe jank
15) DK Mountain is also too high...just kinda wide and boring
16) Music Park visually is a little noisy...between the bloom and the rainbow clashing, but it's gameplay is still sublime.
17) Why are all your DK tracks way too goddamn high lmao
18) Yoshi Circuit in 5 is also based
19) Hyrule Circuit in 2nd is blasphemy

I have all of the Wii Tracks in the top 11.
They’re all pretty great, top 11 is high but they’re all really fun!

I would have liked so much to have a part of the Animal Crossing track going through the museum full of fossils and fishes.
I hate myself for taking 3 months to realize that DS Mario Circuit was MARIO Circuit, not Figure-8 Circuit
Mount Wario being #1 is predictable, and while it's not a favorite of mine, I can respect it.
My only real gripe with this list however is #2. I find Hyrule Circuit to be overrated as heeeeeeeelllllllll. To me it's the most basic Mario Kart track layout with the most basic Zelda code of paint. If it wasn't for the Zelda theming and the one "puzzle" you might as well call it Donut Plains in my eyes.
The fact some of these top 10 choices are laughable when Royal Raceway/Daisy Circuit and N64 Rainbow Road is super low is very telling. Prihanna Plant Stage in top 10 is wild. Ninja highaway and Music course are down right awful by design choices and the fact they got in top 10. I can tell what lobbies you be playing in.
N64 Rainbow Road or Wii Rainbow Road are probably far better than the 3DS/SNES and new Rainbow Road.
I know this might be controversial but I love toad circus and Tokyo blur
Best are: Hyrule Circuit⚔️, Animal Crossing Village🌸 and Big Blue💧, they went all out with the licensed ones
Worst are: Baby Park👶, Toad Circuit🍄 and actually the N64 Rainbow Road💫, just super boring long drift turns, nothing else
