Adam Liban it's not really random. Men who are insecure tell what they feel is importa t about themselves to all the members of their households whenever they realize they are being disrespected. It's very appropriate even that his rebellious child is a girl.

All three of them are very good actors. Sarah Michelle Geller too. I have no idea how they could keep themselves composed through this whole skit without losing it.
Maybe it`s because they`re adults and getting paid good money to properly do a skit without ``losing it`` like some elementary school play. Even when they do ``break character`` it`s obviously staged because fans find the ``breaking character`` crap funnier than the skit.
This sketch unnerves me. Its so well done. No sound other than the utensils scraping ceramics just a little too frequently. The bursts of cacophonic rage. The cyclic nature. The lack of a setup or punchline. Lack of resolution. Lack of eye contact. And we have all experienced tension like this and it breaks my heart and fills me with tension and regrets. This is a hollow shell of a scene and it is just like how memories like this sit inside us. Simmering in a reflection equally as dark as ourselves. Sarah Michelle Gellar was perfect for the daughter of the two SNL alums. Dysfunctional family dinner indeed.

Shamic Entertainment Thought it was just me
Shamic Entertainment The way people eat on tv is fucking annoying.
Shamic Entertainment all that clanking. I love this skit.
I stopped 20 seconds in because I couldn't take it.
It's apart of the skit that's the whole point tf
All three of them are very good actors. Sarah Michelle Geller too. I have no idea how they could keep themselves composed through this whole skit without losing it.
Maybe it`s because they`re adults and getting paid good money to properly do a skit without ``losing it`` like some elementary school play. Even when they do ``break character`` it`s obviously staged because fans find the ``breaking character`` crap funnier than the skit.

Aneroxic,,,cutting, but not eating
She also took all the cucumbers.
You are correct
I looked for this because this literally just happened in my family. I remember watching this as a teen, now I’m reliving it with my teen. 😭
Very true thank god I have cool down to earth parents this shows building rage, bitterness and lack of empathy with amazing black comedy

Hilarious and emotionally painful simultaneously.
It’s definitely underrated. Always been a personal fav of mine.

That "SHUT UP YOU DRUNKEN WITCH" came out of absolutely nowhere 😂
I never had the scary nerve to say that to my mother but I dreamt of it.

i love how i had to pause it to go eat dinner with my family and it was actually dysfunctional 😭
I remember seeing this when it first aired. The funniest thing to me (other than the "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS" part) was the audience member losing it at 3:34.

3:34 - THAT LAUGH though
