- Sarah Michelle Gellar insists several times that Craig Ferguson remembers to treat her like a lady, but she is being humorous about it of course. They discuss kids and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
This joke in the end gets soooo much better by how much he loves it. That's actually my first time seeing him in tears of laughter, I haven't checked the respective compilations yet. Yay!
Buffy made a lot of people very happy for a few hours or more. So, a Nobel peace prize doesn't seem so far off.

she's very funny. she should be the funny one in comedies.
I don't know if she can sing, but her voice has a powerful presence. It sits in a range that cuts through everything.
If you really wanna know, you can just listen to her singing. There is an episode in the Buffy series, where she sings a lot. I think it is "once more with feeling".

In fairness after Crazy Ones was cancelled she wasn’t in anything else to promote, until this year really and by then Craig’s show had ended.

Surprised some of these more famous actresses weren't in the show more often but the less popular ones appeared more frequently. Anyway. She's so gorgeous.

Nothing like that at all. In case of SMG, there hasn't been a whole lot for her to promote - and promoting something is part of the incentive (or sometimes a requirement of a contract). Let's see, there was Buffy donkeys years ago, brief appearance in one of the Scream movies, the Scooby Doo movies, and some other bits and pieces - very little during Craig's run, so she wouldn't be invited much for promotion. There are a few exceptions with Craig inviting friends for no particular reason, but you couldn't do this all the time as you'd also have a schedule and need other peeps. Given Craig and SMG clearly aren't friends and she had one appearance, she wouldn't get invited for the hell of it over, say, Kristin Bell or Mila Kunis or Larry King, people who are genuinely friends with him.
Meanwhile, Paris Hilton or some other 'talent' has something going on and gets an invite (unless of course they annoy the show-runners or perhaps Craig himself). Status may be a factor but it's not paramount.

I'm personally shocked that this is 16 years after IKWYDLS, 17 years after the beginning of Buffy, and two children later. She looks freakin' amazing. Of course, ever since BtVS started, I've basically been in love with her. :) Oh, and pretty cool that she and Freddie have been married 16 years now.

To me, she's the definition of nuanced actress (in days gone by when the writing was good, anyhow), and an annoying personality. Not much warmth comes through, and....kinda defensive. One of the gifts JLF has given us is a comparison of a lot of personalities, with many of them fairly real, relaxed, and playful because they get CF's humor and can riff with it.
To be fair Craig was blocking a lot in this and was shutting her down. Craig was weird here and was way more closed off..

I don't think they've been in anything together, but they were actually childhood friends who would play together and they would go to auditions together. SMG was reportedly the network's top choice to play Sabrina the teenage witch, but turned down the role to play Buffy instead.
