Tim, today is my 266th straight day of yoga, but my 1st time checking out your channel. I began my yoga journey 1/6/21. I just ran my 2nd marathon on Sunday and this sequence was PERFECT! I have not tried using the wall on the side angle poses. What a difference! I have subscribed and excited to see what else you have! Do you have any yoga videos for IT band issues?? I really enjoyed this Tim. I tend to get tightness on the top of my right foot and I believe it's from sitting at my desk at work. I then run 5 -6 days a week and between those two things, i feel it on my right foot on the top. I think it might be a nerve that gets stuck. Thank you for completing my Sunday and making it a great way to stretch out specifically for all the running I do. You're the best and I hope you end up back at a studio locally so I can see you in person!

Thanks! My physio gave me the foot-up-the-wall stretch after I overdid it on a run several months ago and injured my feet. The acute foot pain was/is coming from my calves. Wish I'd been doing that one earlier!
thanks Tm - I would have liked to do more hamstring work - maybe more of the 'flow' back and forth. People with really tight hamstrings need way more work before they start to open up. Namaste.

Question for Tim: from downward facing dog, I cannot move my foot in between my hands. It seems a very difficult move... What do I need to do? Thanks....
@@deannasolomon656 I would really encourage you to start foam rolling the legs, it will help a ton, I have a few videos. I think adding that to your yoga program will be a game-changer.
@@yogawithtim Theres is a lot of soreness in upper body from all the squeezing and rolling on neck and shoulders in grappling. In striking we usually push the shoulders forword and chin down, so it is hell for the spine too. It would be nice to do something specific to release joints in the upper body a little bit.
As a racewalker. This works well. Racewalkers usually rotate their hips. I find my balance is not good because of a high arch, and also lunges where the front foot is supposed to be straight.
have you tried rolling your feet to help with the tension in your arch? Are you doing any glute med exercises? That will help a bunch with the balance and lunge.

Do you have suggestions or a yoga session for soccer or quick fast twitch muscle sports?
I would recommend training with someone who specializes in that, but this is a great class for people who run, whether its sprinting or cruising.
