I try very hard to diversify my content. Featuring known watch brands, microbrands, Aliexpress. Some I have purchased new, others second hand.

Great to finally connect with a smaller watch
Given the heritage of the name it’s a pity they used the 6R movement. It’s a fine looking watch and you got it at a much more reasonable price. Looking forward to watching the longer review in a few months.
I am really enjoying it. It is a bit special but I am very happy I chose to wait to find it at a more reasonable price.
That's a gorgeous looking piece. A bit small for my gargantuan wrist but still very good looking
I was a bit worried about the size too and I’ve got a smaller medium wrist.
If I could get one at the price you paid I would buy one right away. There's a brown dial variant that I really love.
The brown looks great too.
Keep your eyes out for one. They do come up.
I prefer dress watches like this. Very nice thankyou. A lot lighter than dive watches as well.
It has a great look and would also be easy to wear everyday

It is definitely a big step up compared to other Seiko bracelets I’ve experienced
It's a very cool watch James. Lucky you, what a great price! I agree that the retail price is far too much when you consider it against the price of the Alpinist Prospex also with a 6R movement. As for the flag James, every King needs one to hang from the turrets of his castle !
If I should ever buy a Grand Seiko, it will be a spring drive. Their aesthetics are not really my cup of tea most of the time. Nice King that you got yourself there. 🕐⚙️🍸
I’ve had my eye on the GS Mt Iwate but it is outside my price range.
@@WATCHingJames yes, they are so expensive. I will never get this price label thing. Sometimes hundreds, sometimes thousands and sometimes millions of dollars. You don’t always get what you have paid for.
It's weird, I see King Seiko and I think lugs, they dominate that watch case style and honestly, I can't decide if I like them or not. It looks good on your wrist, and that dial looked fantastic in the sun. I look forward to one of your long term reviews.
I did have the same thought. I am finding the bigger lugs help give it a bit more presence which offsets the slightly smaller size.

The braclet definitely makes it look larger than the case size would suggest. Crazy pricey for that kind of movement though
It really gives it a bit more wrist presence and offsets the smaller case.
At this used price the movement makes sense. But it is hard to see how it does at full RRP

I held off until I found one at the right price.
I’m very happy that I bought it. But also happy that I waited until I was comfortable with the price.
With it's standard movement, this is not a KS IMO & just comes across as another Seiko cash grab. A vintage KS is really the only choice for a serious collector.
I really enjoyed my vintage KS but am definitely enjoying this one too.

I might be interested in the modern KS at 40% off SRP…but then the depreciation speaks volumes about the SRP. Seiko really should have put a better movement in these.

It is very nice
The built quality and finishing is quite spectacular! Yet the movement is a disappointment..
I own 2 KS- 1971 gold dial VANAC and a 1974 HI BIT- both have much smoother movement 🤷🏼♂️
It is a shame.
Which is why I could not justify it at full or even discounted RRP.
Made much more sense at this price.
