Reduced my collection of 30 down to 10. Bought 8 more in the process...addiction is a terrible thing! Forget heroin, it's for beginners!
I reduced my collection from 50-60 down to 12 haha. Sold a bunch on eBay or traded up for different ones. I can think of at least 25 watches that I want as well 😅
the Omega Dynamic, the first chronograph I ever saw on magazine when I was a kid, no matter it's pilot version or chronograph version, this is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen in my whole life, and still been for more than 20 years since I lost that magazine.
I have an SBDC119/SPB159 "Baby Alpinist" in my collection and it is the best field watch. It has a date complication and water resistance that I absolutely want when I'm theoretically off the grid and in the field. You're a major reason I own a 2254, so I'll push you towards that SPB155.

I own the Ciga Design C in black and let me tell you its is super comfy and not to mention a convo starter. Nearly everyone initially thinks its an apple watch until they see the mechanics. Its also got a sapphire crystal and for what it offers, its a bargain!

Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
One of the problems with watch RUclips, is that everyone is talking about the latest thing. Often a latest something of zero horological interest, with an affiliate link in the description. I appreciate your effort to scout the non obvious, IMHO it makes the minutes spent watching your content very valuable.

I have that very Seamaster in 36mm and have had it since my 21st birthday (25yrs ago). It still keeps time amazingly and has only been serviced once. Since getting back into watches, I did feel it was a little on the small size, especially as the bezel reduces the size of the dial. You’ve inspired me to get it back out and on the wrist. Great video 👍🏻
I had the SPB155 for a few years and it was lovely. Bit chunky, and the case was a bit basic compared to a normal alpinist. I now have an alpinist GMT which is glorious
Clive cusler has a character called Dirk Pitt. Mr pitt always wore his trusty doxa sub in all the Numa and Dirk pitt novels, hence the complement being returned by doxa.

Great video. The Omega Dynamic III was my first Swiss luxury watch, love it, looks great on a variety of straps. If you’re interested in a smaller 500m Breitling diver, check out the A17350. 38mm, not thick, curvy case profile. Only a 3-hander, but a hidden gem for sure
I've actually tried the a17350. I just felt it was a tad too small on me. Wasn't a fan of the 18mm lugs on it. That's why I've had my eye on the 41mm. Seems to fix the problems I had with it

I just wish that the older models came with an 18mm Lug Width. The 17 always puts me off.

from my own experience, baby alpinist can be my one watch collection for sure - only downsides are the clasp that has only 2 micro adjustment and shiny scratch magnet bezel
I have been thinking about the Yema for a while now , i will hopefully have a Christopher Ward by the end of the year , really really want a vintage Zodiac Astrographic and have a strange desire for a Citizen Bullhead .

What's with all the shade for IWC lately? It seems like one big watch channel talks badly about them,then everyone else jumps on the band wagon. Not fair in my opinion. I'm glad you added one from IWC.

My studio Underdog Desert Sky is great. The blue dial is colorful while going with anything you wear. Best at color and versatility. The watermelon is crazy great but maybe too unique. Guess I need both my blue and watermelon.
I have the Yema Rallygraf, put it on a WatchGecko racing strap and it gets plenty of wrist time. Yema has a great range actually, I'm tempted by a few of their others including the Superman

Hi Keiron, as usual I loved your picks. Concerning the Ciga Design, I bought the C design, but in black. Great finishing, great design (looks like an apple watch but with gears), wears beautifully on the wrist and extremely accurate for an automatic. Downside, a little bit heavy with the mesh bracelet ( they do provide a leather strap) and the engraving of the Ciga design text not so good. Concerning the Casio A1000, I bought one too. Love this watch, the finishing of the case is really premium, looks great and very elegant on the wrist because of the slim case, but the downside is the mesh bracelet that looks a little bit cheap. If you can swap it with a premium mesh bracelet, this thing will be a stunner. Lastly, for the Baltic watch, if it's the Miyota 800 movement that is holding you back, you can swap it easily with the 900 series because the hands and the movement diameter is the same as the 800 series. So the upgrade is possible for 60€ the cost of the 900 movement. I hope this helped. Thanks for your videos, always enjoy them.

These are some solid considerations! I hope you get to experience them all at one point or another. I have been eyeing that Citizen model myself for some time but have yet to pull the trigger! You seem to be a bit of an Omega fan like myself!

Yep, I'm 100% an Omega fanboy. There was about 5 more Omega models that didn't make the cut. They had more watches than any other brand on this video. Love them
@@TopTierTicker Now that you mention it I dont know. On the pro side its iconic, well made and visually interesting. On the other side it feels cluttered and I dont like GMT's and always end up getting something else instead haha!

Vintage two-tone datejust is for sure better than anything Rolex has going these days... I like the old school end links way more than the new Jubilee end link
Regarding the service cost of the Omega Dynamic III, I was told by Omega boutique that the service cost will be the same for all chronographs, regardless of the movement type (i.e. modular, co-axial etc.). I enquired about this because I was really considering the Dynamic III chrono myself. Absolute underrated beauty!
Correct! Omega state on their website that a mechanical chronograph service is £825 (new parts not included). This however is eye-wateringly expensive. So I'd absolutely go indipendant with it. And that's where the cost would be a lot more than a regular chronograph movement. Still cheaper than Omega mind, but more expensive than a Valjoux 7750 for example. Just because there's basically an extra movement to take apart and service.
Omega are also notorious for swapping out parts for new ones. Often things that you'd like to keep like the dial and hands. I'd personally not service with them unless it'd under a warranty claim. They'd absolutely butcher my 2254!
Love your rapid-fire watch reviews, so packed with information. I crave many of the watches on your wish list, including the old Seamaster and the Bel Canto. The IWC reminds me of the Hamilton Khaki King champagne dial version, which doesn't have the unique GMT complication, but does have a large day complication at 12, and is more in my price range.
I happen to own an Omega Seamaster 120 quartz with a silver dial. By all means, you should get one! It's got a quick set hour hand function letting you independently set the hour hand just like on a traveller's GMT, it loses the quick set date but it's not much of an issue with a quartz movement. And the watch is incredibly thin too.

Watch collecting is a big tent and there is room for all of us. I own both brands and many more besides to suit my taste. Wear what you love in good health and let others enjoy their collection in their taste.

Most of these are too expensive. I like the Christopher Ward. My ideal is the new Citizen Forza. Light titanium and a textured blue dial for $400. Insane value.

One of the very few watches I've turned down with regret.. The Cartier Galbee. I found an automatic in a pawn shop near me a fair while ago. Slapped it on my wrist and it was a close to I've ever got to saying take my money now !, alas no box or papers which meant buying it and sending it off to Cartier for verification. A trusted dealer then b&p not a problem but not a pawn broker. Hmm if you try one on Kieron I hope it sings to you like it did to me, lovely piece.
I'm yet to actually get one on wrist but I have seem a few in person. They are just so effortlessly cool, aren't they?

Bloody hell I remember it like yesterday and bare in mind this was an automatic, ready for this lol......1800 quid he had it up for 2k but after a bit of haggling ,yip, 1800 quid !!!. I remember walking out the shop and my missus saying " I've never seen your eyes light up so much when trying on a watch " , and I do own a fair few heavy hitters. Cartier are pure class.
Just don't get a Seiko Sumo.
The chapter ring misalignment is so bad and the bracelet feels like it belongs in a 150$ watch.
I got mine today and barely resisted the urge to toss it in the trash.
I've never really felt the urge to buy a Seiko diver. I think Orient offers more competitive options. But I appreciate the advice my friend 🙏

Why? sea-gull makes mechanical movements for pennies. They aren't as special as many would have you believe. There's good quartz movements and there's good mechanical movements.
@@TopTierTicker Fair point except i have a Bulova Lunar Pilot with an ultra high frequency quartz. It loses 5-10 secs a year and only cost £400. That's £600 saved to spend on something else.

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
