If you have a list you can enrich all the mobile numbers from that list!:) Also you can choose a number in the area code of the people that you are calling, which also helps with them picking up a lot! I would recommend not saying who you are right of the bat. Just say could I speak with Rick please. Also I would never pitch the gate keeper. She isn't a DM and her job is to keep you from speaking with the DM. Ask them for help to qualify but i would leave it at that. Also, I wouldn't leave long VMs. Keep them short and vague. Zoom info and sales navigator is a lot better than Apollo. Planning your call blocks each day will help you reach more DMs and not slow you down.
I get that titles don't matter but if you are a vp of sales would you want to be operating more operationally/creating systems (sdrs to make these calls for you) implementing systems that can make a difference. high level decisions that generate ripple affect greater than one person.

You wrote that your career was plummeting. Mine already plummeted! I don't have the patience to do this on a regular basis! I have decided to accept that I have a broke mentality along with an hourly wage mentality. I don't want to work for nothing waiting for someone to answer the phone that's going to listen and take a meeting from me. Most companies don't want to hire me to do it, either! The only reason I got the job that I got is, they don't do interviews. You just have to register on a platform and do auditions to get to work on their campaigns and sound like you know what you're doing. It's easy to fake it on those just to pass the process! What it boils down to is, I suck at it! I can't feel the frustration you felt in this video on a regular basis and be successful. My mental conditions just won't allow for it!

@@TrentDressel I used to blast 200-250 dials a day as an SDR for a med tech series B start up. Id change out my number once or even twice in a day on those high dial days. Love the videos, they serve as training and motivation on my way to work to make cold calls. 🙏🏽

If it's real, the strong belief in the product you are selling is commendable... However, your opener also needs to reflect that... You're too nice and come across as a pushover. That's reality, Trent. Stop with trying to be funny (you're not), stop reposting these videos, start leaving voicemails and get your head back in the game. Because you're starting to look like an amateur.
