Hi Trent! I started making my cold calls this week and, to be honest, I was quite nervous to the point of being scared and not being able to make the call, but your videos showing the reality of this job helped me feel more confident, I learned that listening to a no as an answer is not the end of the world and that we are just one phone call away from changing the game.

Lol someone today told me “if this is a sales call I am hanging up I don’t accept sales calls”. They were a c suite sales person for a small firm so I said “if you don’t mind me asking… how are you against sales calls when in sales? How do you grow your business?” They hung up on me anyway…. But it felt good to press them lol
hahahah such a good rebuttal, they know deep down they are in a bad place mentally
Tell em next time, then ill def not say its one. Maybe their reaction will be even funnier
Watching your videos the past week has enabled me to become so much better at making cold calls & setting appointments. It’s crazy how much more confident I am even though I’ve been doing this for years. I know for every 10 “no’s” there will always be at least 1 person who says “yes” to a meeting.
TD do not question doing these videos. This is as real as it gets, it's so helpful for visualisation and self image for SDRs like me who do not have a peer to look up to. Don't stop 100K subscribers next

Trent, ver você passando pelas mesmas dificuldades que eu me encoraja a continuar. Fazer Cold Calls não é sexy, não é agradável, muito menos fácil. Na verdade é difícil pra todo mundo, mas ao mesmo tempo, se pararmos para analisar friamente veremos que não é difícil se destacar, pois não é todo mundo que consegue ser disciplinado e resiliente para ser rejeitado todos os dias e continuar fazendo o que deve ser feito. FOCO!

I've seen now 3 live calls, and you barely have any conversations... Spent maybe an hour and heard almost nothing but "beeeeeeeeep, not available, please call again later..."
Idk if you remember me but I’m 16, should I work tech sales (sdr/bdr) full time or part time or intership. Sorry for ur taking ur time, time is money after all ;( + love learning from u, u teach me very well 😂😂😂

Trent: Are you not mass emailing, with the call follow up, this might help too. Also, why not hiring a few sales reps with low bases or draws on commission salespeople to help you, doesn't Ohio have a low high unemployment rate, no. You might need some strong salespeople to help you grow your sales team and your family's business. Either way I commend you for jumping into the family business. We all envy you.

I prefer mobiles 100%, sometimes I will call corp if I can't access mobile
