This would be insanely useful for students. I don't have a whiteboard at home, nor do I have space for one. To think I could transform any wall into a whiteboard for group studies and transport it with that much ease is insane. Also, the fact that u can stick papers to it means you don't need to install a whole frame and use thumb tacks in class rooms, just use these. Wish I had these in my country

Also extremely useful for Physics students, not much space in your room, doesn't take up much space, doesn't leave a mark, easy to transport, it's perfect. I'd imagine same for maths students too.
Can put it on windows too, so all sorts of applications. It's just a very useful sheet of material which sticks to any flat surface and can be written on, how anyone thought there wasn't a huge market for this stuff is beyond me.

Well, not really. They didnt hit their wildly optimistic projections. The company is worth about £400k now, all these years later. It's a hobby business at best. There just isnt a big enough market.

i think it is a great product. just wish it was a bit thicker and didn't have air bubbles. It is such a useful thing whether to write a workout calendar on, recipes, shopping list...tons of uses for students, travelling professionals. The Dragons don't know it all!

Congrats guus. The thing a lot of people have to realise is that on your first venture, to gain the capital you need you’re more than likely going to have to sell your soul, but as these guys have proved, if it works then you don’t need an investor for future projects as you can then be the investor. Your first success is only the beginning. These 2 will easily be able to cash out in a few years for multiple millions of pounds, so 40% was a good deal.

Eight years later and in that time I've been to hundreds of meetings in hundreds of companies in Europe and America and I've never seen *anyone* use this.

And that my friends is how you steal candy from little kids. 100k for 40% is a total ripoff. You can clearly see that the dragons are desperate in being part of the company. Could have easily gotten the same amount of money for 30%.

Can't blame the folks really, they have one distributor and it's a home made product, I think most would be desperate for any kind of investment.
It’s not really, they needed the £100k to expand....where else would you get that?? If it then fails they haven’t lost anything. There are plenty of businesses the dragons have put money into that have bombed. They are now very wealthy, sounds like a good deal to me.
