@Local Shopkeeper I didn’t realise there were Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) schools. Or maybe you’re falsely equivocating BTEC with Beta/Sub-tier because you don’t actually know what it means.
Neil Westwood you should have negociated, 40% was too much. you should have said that if they got 40, you and your wife would only get 30% each, which would be less.
arrogance. lack of humbility. being a dick sometimes is justified when the heart really means well (i.e. being a hard ass like Gordon Ramsay to toughen someone up for their own good), but i get the feeling most of these rich cunts just have attitude.
I'm a teacher who started in a new building teaching a speciality work course... and there was no whiteboard. And the portable whiteboard they had, someone had used permanent marker on it and was useless. This is brilliant, and will be purchasing one.
Oh boy, oh boy. Why would I ever use a toilet, when I can piss straight into my sink? That question I would expect from Peter, when a toilet would be presented to him. Sometimes I ask myself how these guys got so rich with such limited understanding und view.
I work in IT, our UX designers love these. Peter was talking out of his arse as usual. I've done consulting work myself, can totally see how this is useful. It's all fun and games until you run a workshop for 10 people in a completely bare room, with a flaky HDMI adapter.
"Why would I use this?" what a stupid question! I'm a student and I only want to use it once a semester during final presentations. I would gladly pay for this product instead of paying for a whiteboard! also, this is much more portable!
I've got a better question. Why exactly would you need a roll of the stuff since you can reuse the same sheet over and over again? It can easily wiped clean. It can have papers stuck to it. Wouldn't it be much more prudent to just sell it by the sheet or perhaps an office will get this idea too and just buy a single roll that the entire office can then use by the sheet, one sheet per department. Sorry, but it really isn't very well thought out. Most businesses already have some sort of whiteboard in play. The average person say a teacher or sports coach might need a single sheet at most. They'd have no need for an entire roll.
+Brad Torville You really don't know how people with lives go about their business, do you? Maybe you are the kind of sad man that reuses everything. Most of the world is not. Go visit a landfill.
Having used these in practice, Peter's concerns show lack of imagination. I've seen them used on the glass walls of a co-working space Meeting Room to protect sensitive presentations and provide writing space. I've seen them used in buildings where you can't install a whiteboard. During crunch-time we sometimes put them up all over the walls, to be taken down and tidied up when we're done.
I was screaming throughout the whole video for someone to just mention the use of it in schools. My school in Lancashire handed them out the only thing wrong was that I had to do work.
NonsensicalSpudz A roll of this is £7 cost - retails at £70... every ad agency and design company in the country get through reams of this stuff. the inventors are now multi millionaires. I think that's impressive. Why haven't we all heard of 'NonsensicalSpudz' and his genius ideas? ..because he's an internet cock.
Lauri Koskinen paper becomes wet, you need to stick it to the surface with something. Can only be used once etc. With the mgic whiteboard you just roll it up after usage, throw back into the car and of you go.
i was a bit skeptical when i saw the title cos i thought it would be one of those 'very pc' or 'lights on a pole' pitch, but this is actually something i could find a very good use for. i'll have a look in Staples tomorrow as i am very...no, EXTREMELY...tempted to buy one
lol. I know this product and I know some people who use it (I work at a university in Germany) and EVERYBODY says what a great idea it is. BIG mistake of Peter here.
I'm a little confused if the patent covers all the actual material as my local council gives out these small statically charged plastic sheets with recycling information for sticking in houses
Peter jones is so arrogant, just because he is successfull he thinks he can talk down to people and thinks he knows it all ... Watch his face he's gutted haha... Probably lost some of his height temporarily
I have to disagree with your opinion. It is because its his money that he might be investing in, you would be annoyed to be pitched something that seem dodgy or not good enough for his money. Arrogance isn't what i would call it. If you ever listen to Peter he is the smartest one out of all of them.
this is a friggin awesome idea. Imagine this out in some developed countries where they have to make makeshift classrooms. Or for the army when out in the field. Or in disaster areas where they have to make a plan for a small group of people....etc etc.
This is great for those moving around with a projector. If it is white then it makes a great screen for a projector. Cause there are so many times that one walks into a place with a generator but there's no proper screen to project on
i rent a small room and i move around alot. I like writing and i was thinking the other day how the hell am i going to carry a white board to my place (i bought a nice white board before but again i moved and left it)? Mean while there was a cool white board rolls on the market
"are you able to assure me today that there's nobody else worldwide manufacturing a similar product for that use?" i think i've seen something similar already when i was younger- my grandparents were in construction industry and those white 'stickers' were on surfaces everywhere, workers did always write/ doodle on them. i'm from taiwan.
I've met Neil, not his wife and he demonstrated the magic whiteboard, blackboard and the first ever erasing sticky note. He is an amazing guy with a brilliant product which will sell on. Neil is a brilliant guy and some of us (including me) got to test out his product. We met him because he lives in Kingswinford (where I live) and he also went to the same school as I do currently(kingswinford school) and I guess he wanted to come back to see the new people who went to the same school as I do.
Hi kids... been using your DD´s appearance to teach my students in Sonora, Mexico about speech, presentations , graphics and charts... most of them like your product, but find it expensive... What is your answer?
We do an A4 Magic Whiteboard which is cheaper www.magicwhiteboard.co.uk/product/magic-whiteboard-a4-dry-erase-sheets/ and we do reusable whiteboard notebooks www.magicwhiteboard.co.uk/product/a4a-ruled-margin-reusable-whiteboard-notebook-8-pages/
I don't know if you still use youtube but Neil, you should try selling this to global NGOs and other organisations for use overseas in third world countries.
Or perhaps Neil could campaign for Brexshit and make it very difficult to export to anywhere. Oh, he has and now he's complaining about it. Oh dear. Got what he voted for. 😂
Peter has never done any IT design at home, for example. I can hang it on my window, do all design work without having to worry about washing the glass (for example).
8:22-23 "currently selling 250 thousand rolls in japan." i like it. but ive never seen those wraps everywhere here in my country. after watching this, i searched the internet for the agent of it but i couldnt find it. without any agent, everyone can manufacture and sell it.
I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS EPISODE ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO AFTER AND SCREAMING WITH LAUGHTER AT PETER. LIKE CMON BRO, DID YOU NEED TO DESTROY HIS SELF-ESTEEM IS SUCH A MANOR😩
I think this is a great idea! I would use this if I would be a student. If you cut them you can make post it thing out of it and you can use it for posters. Its really good.
8 years later the company doing really well even my school uses them
yeah i think my teacher does too
Going to some btec school loool
@Local Shopkeeper I didn’t realise there were Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) schools. Or maybe you’re falsely equivocating BTEC with Beta/Sub-tier because you don’t actually know what it means.

the market for this is massive , every student would want this
They should sell these as post-it notes. That would be alot better. Post it that sticks anywhere and can be re-used.
We do erasable magic sticky notes www.magicwhiteboard.co.uk/category/magic-sticky-notes/
Neil Westwood Best comeback ever.
Neil Westwood you should have negociated, 40% was too much. you should have said that if they got 40, you and your wife would only get 30% each, which would be less.
Millionaires talking to people like dirt because they have a bit of money, what happened to basic manners
arrogance.
lack of humbility.
being a dick sometimes is justified when the heart really means well (i.e. being a hard ass like Gordon Ramsay to toughen someone up for their own good), but i get the feeling most of these rich cunts just have attitude.
Deborah is the worst. least the others earned their arrogance, she inherited hers. she's ironically the most cynical too.
Sold those
I agree although it makes some of them see sense I like the episodes that the dragons say there businesses will fail then 4 years later its succeeded.
It's called business. they don't want to make a lose.
I'm a teacher who started in a new building teaching a speciality work course... and there was no whiteboard. And the portable whiteboard they had, someone had used permanent marker on it and was useless. This is brilliant, and will be purchasing one.

Elite7555 😂
You should see Peter's bathroom ... no WC fitted.
That's the question.
@King Brilliant lol
The point is to sell your idea to these investors, so if you can get through questions like that, they'll see you as a worthy investment
I work in IT, our UX designers love these. Peter was talking out of his arse as usual. I've done consulting work myself, can totally see how this is useful. It's all fun and games until you run a workshop for 10 people in a completely bare room, with a flaky HDMI adapter.
It's like a big slap to Peter to know how successful this product now.
"Why would I use this?" what a stupid question! I'm a student and I only want to use it once a semester during final presentations. I would gladly pay for this product instead of paying for a whiteboard! also, this is much more portable!
in the US you can order from www.magicwhiteboardproducts.com
Good to know. Tx

why only upload half of the thing?
Because back in 2008 when this was uploaded there was a 10 minute restriction to videos. You'll notice lots of 10 minute videos from around that time.
They could had cut 4.5mins of the beginning.
We need to pay him for part two.
I don’t think a video with no end will interest a lot of people. For that reason, I’m out!
I'm out, too.
I was screaming throughout the whole video for someone to just mention the use of it in schools. My school in Lancashire handed them out the only thing wrong was that I had to do work.

I love the idea. My nephew loves to color. If I had one of These id stick it on the wall and he'd love it! So many different ways I could use it
You can get em on amazon love
shit son... im actually using this right now for my uni project... holy shit cant believe this camee from these hahaha
Duncan is my favorite dragon of all time. He tells people straight up what he thinks.
So do I but I keep getting sacked.
I really don't understand why Peter Jones thought it was ridiculous... he must have been on a tight budget that day and just wanted to make TV
1990 called, they want their pixels back
Anon Wibble Her panties are out, just as Jenny
@Ryan Hopkins lmao you're a bit of a twat yourself no wonder cringey guy
We use it and it's genius. Wish I'd thought of it.
K Russell yeah plastic is pretty impressive ain't it

K Russell overreacted a tad don't you think
***** Was it the word cock? I can change it. Thoughts? We could brainstorm it using Magic Whiteboard.
K Russell i'm starting to think you're working for them
Lol @ Peter Jones, this went onto be one of the big successes on DD.
Yup, and he thought he was smart writing "I'M OUT" on it.
traida111 damn man he just wasn’t thinking properly but he’s a good guy to reasonable people
@Ryan Hopkins Are you Peter Jones' number one fan? You're really invested in his infallibility
This is actually a really good product
"A massive blow". The presenter must say that at least 10 times per episode
He loves a massive blow from his boyfriend.
This is apparently the most successful item ever to have blown up from the den!
Must be good in the army. Gather the soldiers, stick it to the side of a car/truck or tank and start the briefing or whatever in seconds.
How is it better than paper?
They would have to eat it or burn it after :P They can;t left the plans for the enemy to find it.
you know whiteboards rub out correct
When is the last time you saw soldiers having whiteboard on squad lvl in field in truck or APC? If lucky there is maybe one in batallion command.
Lauri Koskinen paper becomes wet, you need to stick it to the surface with something. Can only be used once etc. With the mgic whiteboard you just roll it up after usage, throw back into the car and of you go.
Brilliant product. I would use it for presentations and mind mapping concepts and ideas. Think of the possibilities!!
I'm glad I've heard of this. Yipee
Why didn't you show the ENTIRE video segment?
i was a bit skeptical when i saw the title cos i thought it would be one of those 'very pc' or 'lights on a pole' pitch, but this is actually something i could find a very good use for. i'll have a look in Staples tomorrow as i am very...no, EXTREMELY...tempted to buy one
Peter is so rude. No wonder Theo and Ballantine hate him.
lol. I know this product and I know some people who use it (I work at a university in Germany) and EVERYBODY says what a great idea it is. BIG mistake of Peter here.
What happened to the rest of the vid?
+katie smith- art vlogs and more thx
I'm a little confused if the patent covers all the actual material as my local council gives out these small statically charged plastic sheets with recycling information for sticking in houses

Peter Jones is one of the most polite dragons. Sometimes the truth hurts but he´s been pretty polite to some truly ordinary entrepreneurs.
I have to disagree with your opinion. It is because its his money that he might be investing in, you would be annoyed to be pitched something that seem dodgy or not good enough for his money. Arrogance isn't what i would call it. If you ever listen to Peter he is the smartest one out of all of them.
This has to be the biggest cock up Peter has ever made, backing out before they finished their pitch.
100k for 40%? Fuck off love!
Haha, they sent an order to Norway (where I live), and i have actually seen the magic whiteboard being used at my office!
this is a friggin awesome idea. Imagine this out in some developed countries where they have to make makeshift classrooms. Or for the army when out in the field. Or in disaster areas where they have to make a plan for a small group of people....etc etc.
Hey bro u alive
8:31 you can see the moment that Peter regrets going out
I like it, I think could actually buy some. I'd love to have a whiteboard just about anywhere and do some equations on it.
“So I go every day to the post offithhh”
AbstractGaming best bit
It seems like Peter Jones has mellowed a lot in recent years :')
He still sometimes acts up and gets moody
I WANT THIS - First time I ever wanted a Dragons den product
Ironic how the top two comments are the same, yet are accusing someone of over-using a comment.
Why only half the episode?
In the age of 4k pixels it's intresting to watch a video in just 100 pixels.
This is great for those moving around with a projector. If it is white then it makes a great screen for a projector. Cause there are so many times that one walks into a place with a generator but there's no proper screen to project on
Cant believe how rude and arrogant the dragons were back then....glad they've mellowed with age!
i rent a small room and i move around alot. I like writing and i was thinking the other day how the hell am i going to carry a white board to my place (i bought a nice white board before but again i moved and left it)? Mean while there was a cool white board rolls on the market
You could put a couple of them together and make a screen to project movies onto
I am in love with Theo! Think he is fascinating to watch x
It's a good idea. It could replace those wasteful paper flip charts. It was just slightly underwhelmingly presented.
Demands come from all over the world. please i need this thing!!
"are you able to assure me today that there's nobody else worldwide manufacturing a similar product for that use?"
i think i've seen something similar already when i was younger- my grandparents were in construction industry and those white 'stickers' were on surfaces everywhere, workers did always write/ doodle on them. i'm from taiwan.

He's so brilliant he thought Brexshit was a good idea so he campaigned on twitter for it and now he can't export his magic whiteboards. D'OH!
Where is the rest of this video???
Where is the rest of that video? 🤣🤣🥊
How does it end?
I don't quite get Peter Jones' reasoning for opting out.
+The Real Mr J. He's short sighted without much imagination.
The link to part 2 doesn't work. Still trying to find the second part of this vid.
Peter Jones learned some lessons that day.
Good youtube comeback.... We never meet....
Peter must be on some kush!
Hi kids... been using your DD´s appearance to teach my students in Sonora, Mexico about speech, presentations , graphics and charts... most of them like your product, but find it expensive... What is your answer?

Where's the rest of the episode?
00:41 anyone know where I can find this pitch??
Starts at 2:20
This is brilliant.
What is the name of the business in the video please?
Ah, its Dragon's Den
I don't know if you still use youtube but Neil, you should try selling this to global NGOs and other organisations for use overseas in third world countries.
Or perhaps Neil could campaign for Brexshit and make it very difficult to export to anywhere. Oh, he has and now he's complaining about it. Oh dear. Got what he voted for. 😂
What happens when there's no flat surface available?
It falls off
you've made my day
that's the best refrence ive ever heard
I guess there's always a wall..where there's a wall there's a way.
+John Smith unless you're standing up, then it just falls off.
Nice idea but come on man, you should at least have the full video! It's you in it!
I guess the Dragons prefer classy green Teachers write board..?
We meet again Mr. Anderson
was very impressed with you guys
I would get these can think of so many uses esp for home renovation
Such a fantastic product, schools would find this so useful
Using it on uni room walls, makes sure I'll get back my deposit thank you!
You can get from Rymans, Staples search Magic Whiteboard in google
Peter has never done any IT design at home, for example.
I can hang it on my window, do all design work without having to worry about washing the glass (for example).
wheres the rest?????
Is there a part 2?
where can i buy one
Is this whiteboard available at indonesia?? i need this..
This looks like it's great for collaborative group work
8:22-23 "currently selling 250 thousand rolls in japan." i like it. but ive never seen those wraps everywhere here in my country. after watching this, i searched the internet for the agent of it but i couldnt find it. without any agent, everyone can manufacture and sell it.
Something's always bothering Peter!
wow, the dragons really missed the mark with this one lol. love it when the little guy takes down the overgrown, arrogant aholes.
He came to our school today.
who?
i´m from norway, and why did we buy this..?
Video quality is astonishing. Crisp 144p.

AFTER *SCHOOL
*MANNER
seems like u havent uploaded part 2
WHY cut it of there? lol
why did it end without finishing
How much is this business worth in 2018?
Its not the dragons fault, its the couples fault for not explaining well what it could be used for
They can think for themselves. They are supposed to be business people.
I think this is a great idea! I would use this if I would be a student. If you cut them you can make post it thing out of it and you can use it for posters. Its really good.
They've made post it notes version of this
144px??
Thanks
if these are just polypropylene sheets what exactly is patented
Peter Jones: Bordering ridiculous why would I use this?
Also Peter: Uses it just to say “I’m out”
