HI, Joy. I am glad that I found this video of yours about rootless vanda. I just received a vanda yesterday that i rehydrated today and repeat the process tomorrow, but I saw the base part may have some rot or is infected. I also saw a keiki that was separating... probably already broken off from the main stem. I will do what you experimented which seem to be successful. Thank you.🙂

Are there any specific Vandas that do ok in a dry climate? I moved from a humid environment and had to leave my orchids but I want to start growing them again.

How do you water the rootless Vanda while they are recovering? Do you spray them daily, or leave them dry until the new root grows? Thanks

My vanda is in a similar state and I am about to hang mine like yours. Though my light is for my herbs and such so it is very bright white light. Can you tell me about your light please?

I don't think I can do this because my sick vanda currently has a single leaf and it's bad looking as well.
