The sound of that old Holden 6 coupled to the 3 on the tree brings back a lot of memories. Is it a 186 or a 179? Dad had an EH 179 wagon in the 70s green with a white roof I wish I had it today. I wish you well with the resto nice to see another one saved from the crusher.👍🏻
Thank you Geoff. Its a 186, Jamie's favourite motor to work on. We used it as the get away car at our wedding in October and it all went well, sort of!

Yes all that is left is cosmetic stuff. The steering still has a lot of play in it so hopefully when Jamie is finished she/he I say she “BETSIE” will be smick as GOOD WORK JAMIE 👻👏
Thanks Jackie, yes well spotted, Jamie had a look at the steering rod joint when we got home as he said it got looser as we drove. He saw some play at a point he will check out later this week as we're off to Langkoop tomorrow.Later in the week when Jamie's doing that we should hit the explore trail toghether!
