Cheers Jamie
Thats amazing. Jamie you have done so much work. Congratulations ❤❤❤
Thank you both for all your support. Have to take you for a cruise one day.
Great work Jamie I was sceptical at first that you would have it ready by October but to my amazement you have it runnable and registered now it’s time for all the little things to come together 👻👏
Thank you Jackie. Yes, I've all the electrical done so when it comes back from the wheel alignment I can do all the trim. Unfortunately the previous owner put in a radiator to make it look cool but now the grill doesn't go back on. Just lots of little jobs that take days. Cheers Jamie
That sounds and looks fantastic 😍 🚗
Thanks Drew. He's done an amazing job.
Great work Jamie
Cheers Cheree and John, He's been a machine with this!
Awesome 👍👍👍
Thanks 🤗
Wow what a great job you have done in such a short space of time. Congratulations and well done Jamie you should be proud of yourself.Ah the old bench seat it was great for your girlfriend to snuggle up close and personal lol It wasnt illegall to not wear a seat belt back then.Just remember to never remove your seat covering saving the back of your legs from seriousley being burnt. As is i can now imagine you driving off on your wedding day with the cans on the back making one hell of a noise ha ha. Well done Jamie
I can picture it myself David, wonder how far we will get down the Dukes Highway with the biggest car drag weekend on there that weekend! Cops will be everywhere! So glad you'll be there to see us get arrested!!
I will come bail you out of jail ha ha@@IntrepidsRus
Awesome 😮,the only problem is the steering wheels on the wrong side of the car .😂😅😂😅
Is it a 3 speed in the column😊
haha, I know Werner's been scared of driving now he's been over there driving on the wrong side!! yes, is a 3speed column. How are you Tony, any better?
@@IntrepidsRus yes a little ,the new wave of are friend is bad on people with health issues few days I didn't think I was going to make IT
G'day..
Oh wow.. The 'Shagon Wagon' is alive and mobile.. lookout.. Jamie has done an amazing job.. dedication for sure.
What color are you painting it?
Mmmm.. a nice deep dark green.. double pearl.. blend in to your block..
Great stuff..
🌺
Thanks Dee. He really has pulled it together. He's sticking with the original two tone. The wheel colours are original, can't remember what its called. Can't ask him cause he had no confidence in the guy at the tyre place looking out for it properly (he did ask for first job so it wasn't sitting out unattended, but they guy was vague) sooo Jamie drove back down and is sitting in his car across the road guarding it 🤣🤣🤣
@@IntrepidsRusYes.. l would for sure keep an eye on it. My friend did up an EH UTE.. Immaculate.. but it got stolen.. So sad.. He worked on it for 8 years.
Two tonnes original.. cool.
Aaron got his new car yesterday. 2nd hand. Mazda BT5O. 4x4. 2015. lovely..
Hows the eyes? All healed l hope. Bye..
Oh Wow, congrats on the new car, its always a nice feeling and a 4x4 never goes astray I say! I hate people when I hear stories like your friends ute, some peeps are just pure c**ts, thats so sad. I'm being much lesss of a baby abut my eyes, so they must be gettting better, cheers Dee xx@@deenewnham5428
Nice one! Our family wagon, when I was younger, was a 1965 HD Special. Also had the power operated tailgate window. Curious that Holden did not offer electric windows on the passenger doors until the HK series.
So many memories with these cars for so many peeps, and we all wish we still had kept our first ones! Cheers for stopping by.
Cool 😎 🆒️
Cheers!
Awesome 🤗
Thank you 😁
Over here in the UK this is a Vauxhall Victor FC 101.
Cool ⚓️🧲👍
Thank you!
Does it need a gear box kit? I had a sedan for my first car when I was 18 from 1979 to 1987. Great car. It had a 186 motor. And I put a disc brake front end under it. Well done you two.👍
Thank you Neville. We agree, awesome car! No, no gear box kit needed....yet!
My first car in Australia bought in December 1984 for $300.00. Got me from Melbourne to Perth with one punched tyre. All prep for the trip was one water pump $6.00, banjo diff for a carton, set of brake shoes with all the rubber and a bottle of fluid for $40.00. Total $366.00 for 3600kms trip.
that's one hell of a memory you have there and what an awesome road trip, reminds me of Jack Absalom in his Sigma!! Cheers for stopping by.
Can I ask how long you've had this car for? I have a couple of pics of almost the exact same car in my driveway at Morphett Vale around 2017/2018. Rusty, needed a whole lot of love. I get there's probably a few around but...
We picked ours up in 2022 from around Lobethal. That fellow had it for at least four years. Makes you wonder how many there are sitting around. Cheers for stopping by
WOW What a classic, Are you restoring all this? And is that a mid 60's model?
Hi Robbi, Yes, we are doing a full resto, this is a 1967 model. Cheers for stopping in
@@IntrepidsRus That's so cool, keep at it, That legend will look &sound amazing once all done up. I drive a 76 HJ Kingswood here in Melbourne

I got a column shift manual, it’s way better for drink driving 😊
