Been a LONG time since I've made a video like this one. Did I miss anyone that should've been on the list, perhaps?
I have nothing to contribute sire, tis flawless as is.
Hell yeah brother, I missed your top 10, some sketches like things only classic player will understand, how to be guild master (do not know the exact name) or story videos like true story and more.
bro this is the first video of yours that i've watched since the machinima days, and I gotta say, you're doing great. I don't disagree with a single thing you've said in this video. hopefully i get around to watching some of your more recent videos now that i'm renewing my WoW sub!
11# The one that wants to sell you a paid add-on that goes against the TOS of the game and that takes away all the fun of questing.
@luxvult5202 Whether it's Zygor, Rested XP, Joana's (RIP) Leveling Guide, etc - none of these violate Blizzards TOS. They're guides moreso than addons. There's a difference, which is why these guys have been around since Vanilla / TBC and Blizzard has never shut them down, nor have they banned anyone for using or promoting them.
As someone who started WoW this year I definitely felt a lot of discouragement from the eceleb streamers saying stuff like “WoW is dead” or “Retail is dead, classic is better”
Asmon in particular just REALLY hates df for some reason idk why. Most of his points about the expac are kinda dogshit.
Don't listen to them, WoW's not dead, retail isn't dead, classic isn't dead. WoW's what you make it, have your fun your way and find a group who feels the same way. I've been a player since 08 (Start of Burning Crusade) and I'm still here, on a daily basis. On Retail. I have a couple of characters on Classic too.
@@camorucamoru4664 it's cause he's racist, he doesnt want peace, he wants the Horde and Alliance to bring each other to extinction.
Dont feel bad. These people been saying that since vanilla.. When AQ came out and severs went into meltdown, people started complaining and saying the game was dead because servers couldnt even stay online. Then on Naxx they said game was dead because people couldnt finish the new raid as it was too hard and people had gone into hiatus waiting for TBC instead.
What you need to understand is that, what they realy mean is "This game is dead to me" because is no longer the way they want it, or because is too hard for them.
Same thing when I started playing during shadowlands, like damn dude let me enjoy the game
Been playing since TBC and I still don't know what Parsing means hahaha
OG Vanilla me either
basically.. a race score leaderboard on numbers (being heal, dps or whatever else)
the best player is #1 and 100%.. number 57th player is 99%... number 87898th player is 43%.
Yea parsing is the only reason I can reclear raids and keep the guild together. Just got a rank 53 for demo last Wednesday. It makes the game actually worth for me. Also I don't rip on people for their parses. I'm not a dick, just demand a lot from myself.
"...kind of an idiot. on a side note this channel is sponsered by zygor..." 🤣
Link in the description! *Flex*
You'd have to be an idiot to pay for a service that just tells you what quests to do in an mmo. Just... play the game?
😂
Although I suppose it technically falls under the 'WoW is dying' category the people who never stop talking about how WOTLK was the only good xpac and WoW hasn't been good since, those people are pretty obnoxious.
iv encountered this person thru a comment section in a nixxiom video funny enough, he refuses to acknowledge the rest of the WoW's story/expacs past WOTLK is sooooo goddamm annoying
Aye it's the equivalent of your bald-with-ponytail uncle that only listens to Journey and Foreigner because that's 'back when music really meant something, maaaann!'
Which is especailly annoying because wtlk, apart from couple good raids, was a really boring expansion, and is near the bottom of my list. I feel like most people just think so highly of it due to warcraft III nostalgia.
ironically he is one of those guys
@@emmadilemma4177 refusing to acknowledge the lore after cata vs thinking WOTLK is the best xpac are two different things. The belief that the lore after Cata isn't true is based on the fact that it wasn't written by anyone who had anything to do with the WoW storyline but just a bunch of random people who made up random shit that didn't make any sense. Everything before hand was written by Metzen and the council. From Warcraft 1 until Cata it was all written by the same people. It's essentially fanfiction from Cata onward.
I agree with the I hate x part. I just like Warcraft. I want Warcraft to succeed. Through any iteration. More Warcraft. Let it be good no matter which version you prefer.
Yeah like the idiots who keep asking for tbc and wrath era when people quite literally stop playing wow altogether or went back to classic midway through their progression because it wasn't fun anymore, but still complain about blizzard making cata
I love Warcraft, but hate Blizzard... Who completely scammed their Warcraft iii community...
I am the "My character needs a last name." guy. 😁
I'm the "my toon needs a tab on the Character page where I can write out his entire backstory, or a history of all the things I've done on that character with my friends and guild mates."
@@NixxiomOnRUclips I hate to be that guy, but: theres an addon for that :P
@@skodass1 I'd imagine he knows about TRP and states himself in a previous video he wishes Blizzard would add their own form of this to the actual base game. Which I 100% agree with, TRP is cool, but would be nice if Blizzard could implement their own form of it.
TRP3. Go. Don't want that in the game.
I like to see who is down to RP and who is a peasant that don't. So I'm content with the status quo.
They should. It's another avenue of customization.
People who pull bosses without the whole raid being there.... like...damn.
Because it's the "worst thing in the world" to wait 45 seconds for the rest of the raid to get in the room...
Running Heroic Magister's Terrace during TBC timerunning and it'd be a 50/50 shot of the tank being stuck fighting the first boss solo cause the barrier would proc before the rest of us could get inside.
Leeeeeroyyyy
You forgot the Boomer Idiot.
The kinda guy who wants to see the old mechanics of Vanilla that were not exactly player friendly, but enriched the world.
Hunters needing ammo / Quivers
Warlocks needing soul shards
Priests each having a racial spell
Forsaken players taking extra damage from weapons that did extra damage to undead.
Do these things make for well balanced game design? No. But they don't care about that. They want a world that makes sense and has a strong sense of verisimilitude.
... basically me. I'm that idiot. And I miss those things.
i miss Quivers/Ammo Belts, but not the need to replenish Ammo.
Quivers we're cool but fuck soul shards being a physical item.
Needing a feather to cast feather fall.
Not really an "Idiot" then. Just someone who appreciates Fantasy that makes Sense. _( Forsaken Players/NPC's counted as Undead and so on. )_
The greatest Idiots however are the People in the Forums, who *IMMEDIATELY* explode in a pathetic Hissy-fit as soon as someone mentions Ashes of Creation,
and they wallow around like in their own Feces between Salt, Butthurt : and Panic and Anger because they know how stupid they will feel once it hits the Stage.
WoW has become such a bad Addiction for so many. An abusive Relationship that is no longer what they loved to play once. Yet here they are, defending their *"Drxg DxxIer Blizzard"* who kicks them into the Face since BfA with intentionally bad and \/\/()ke Storywriting.
@@AszkalonOfVerra the thing is, those some Fantasy enthusiasts ARE the forums doing that exact shit.
surprised im not on the list
I gotta say, me too. There was a moment in the “I have a wife and kids” section where I started to get a little nervous, but then I realized that I don’t tell anyone about my private life and I do play casually and still get tons of enjoyment out of WoW even after 2 decades.
You're too cool to be on this list. :)
This should be titled - Top 10 things that will never change in wow -
Third party website guy could also be certain content creators pushing Zygor all the time ;)
They pay the bills, without it they may not be here to stream. I totally get sponsorships.
Ok, but here’s where the social rubber meets the road. I don’t think hyper min-max is healthy for the average player. At the same time, if you’re trying to do mythic, push keys, hi end PvP, etc-if you’re not willing to do the work, you don’t get to whine when those who DO put in the work don’t wanna work with you.
My aunt used to gem mP5 on her ret pali, bc it’ll certainly come in handy sometime…then complain that high end groups wouldn’t pick her up.
Gonna stick up for the "I have a life" guy (partially):
Everyone obviously has a life, and your example (and this whole video clearly) is taken to an extreme for comedy and entertainment purposes (it's great; love your work dude), but I've always hated the argument that MMO's are not for solo players. It 100% can and should be AS A BASELINE. Arguing the game should "cater" to solo players...obviously an extreme, but arguing the game shouldn't provide solo content is a big mistake and will, imho, kill an MMO pretty quickly.
That's why I liked garrisons and class halls. I liked the questlines tied to them, the artificial respect given by npcs to the player, and sending npcs on missions while I busy myself with world-grind questing and cash in on the rewards later. I miss WoD.
Or, like me, tired of the other 9 kinds on that list and have actually had fun playing by myself. I am THRILLED with the follower dungeons. I can go at my own pace, or give lead to an NPC to drag me through. If I want to take time to kill everything in there, explore all the corners, I can do that by taking lead. I am not at the mercy of that "gotta run fast" dude. I wish there was a way for raids to be that way. Without a guild, it's really not fun to run raids due to the same "run fast" guys in LFR. I spent 9 hours playing yesterday, had a blast doing it, but wasn't dealing with others. I'm doing remix and running scenarios and running up characters and having a great time.
Hahahaha, did bro just described every type of Asmon spergs, and Asmon himself xD
Asmon is a sperg himself
All thèse idiots be like « truuuuue »
It ticked him that asmon said Addons should be totally removed since he's paid by Zygore
The burn through in a week…..to many of those sheeeesh…
the one that hate casual is the one that i hate the most. i am always kind to ppl that are new or dont know the mecanic
Right.
We are here to have fun and make friends.
@@user-dc5jf6ms5e one time i wipe like maybe 6 time in my keys and we lost the timer np to next time
my guy woke up and chose violence
Meeting the crazy people in this game and listening to massive arguments after the 20th wipe in a pug discord call is one of the most special parts of the game.
I don't think I have ever seen a pug that didn't disband long before 20 wipes.
"Noooo! We can't just cater to a wide audience! We can only cater to elite players!"
Ironically the games loop is too hard.
15 dollars for a whole month's entertainment.
15 dollars is a sober night at a bar.
Personally, I would prefer this game to be single player, like the Warcraft games before it, but that doesn't mean I don't like some aspect of this game. I get addicted to it all the same! And it is probably the only MMO that I will ever get addicted to!
Also I FINALLY got the Tomb Stalker mount for my Troll Death knight.
I do sympathize with the 'I have a life' type since my work schedule does put me at odds when everyone else on my server's on and doing stuff. It took eventually finding others who also work in my job field to help mitigate the situation. Not everyone gets it that for us, we're in our busy times when most have free time like working weekends or pulling overtime during summer.
But the thing is, if a game caters with most of its content with "casual" instant gratification type of gameplay, both party loses. You get something fast, which will have zero value, and the game loses integirty. You just have to accept that your life won't let you to play the game as much as you would want to. That is it. I'm a casual player and I accepted that I will have those awesome transmogs a few expansions later than right now, when I can solo the raids because they become legacy content. You just have to accept that you are not the sole target audience, and let more timegifted players have their fun and meaingful rewards as once you had, probably when you were younger.
@@arnoldnemeth8578 I completely agree with you on the you make do with what time you have. Soloing legacy content describes a substantial portion of my gametime. I just really understand being in the position where you're kinda stuck because there's other priorities on the table. Expecting the game to cater to my outside of most everyone else's work schedule is insanity to me. If I ever pulled the 'I have a life' card, I'd expect to be blacklisted from the game for being that much of a shleb.
Most people who play WoW in 2024 are grown ups with jobs, families and lives. Things aren't like they were in 2006 when the game had a mostly young audience with all the time in the world to sit and prefect their character. Casuals like us ARE the target audience now and the developers have done a great job moving the focus of the game to adults. There's still a niche for people who have to prove how huge and veiny their virtual manhood is, but it's not the focus, and that's wonderful.
I play on private server currently just because I can’t afford a sub
Oof third worlders got it bad
Me too
Yeah, it's crazy how this isn't brought up more often but for people who live in places which doesn't use us dollars, pound sterling or euros, the game is insanely expensive now, thanks to inflation.
Asmonbald fits like.. all of these 😂
'This game is ded' what a classic!
in the past when you logged in at any time the game is packed
that is not the case anymore lol
that's where this is coming from
@@zytha2890 It's all because of sharding/layering etc. though. Everyones on..just cant see a lot of them unless you're trying. Which has it's ups and downs, so I get it lol
I think wow has the biggest amount of these people that will just keep saying this people that have not played the game for many years and have no good knowledge about the state of the game but they will ALWAYS comment on facebook/twitter about new wow patch/update to say how it doesn't matter because the game is dead or some other hate comment they must always comment and let everyone know that the game is dead despite not even playing it instead of just stop following the news about wow or just don't comment at all.
It may not be dead but i wished it was at this point. Eternal life support in form of microtransactions.
Tank specific, but you missed The Go Guy.
"Go. Go. Go. Go! Go! We'll be fine. Go! Go! Just pull! Go! Go. Go! Go. I'm pulling if you don't pull."
Yo Nixxiom. Great Vid as always, but you missed an important annoying one:
"The AFK Guy" - The guy you plan some dungeon runs with, that shows up late while you wait. When online he tells You to wait so he goes quickly to the AH to buy Flasks. When finally you found the full group and go summon he goes on a Bio. Then finally inside the dungeon goes AFK on the ready check and ofc never releases when everyone else is on a corpse run because he is off snatching food and drinks which will occupy him for the rest of the run. He will have his focus fully set on the food next to him making him the 1st one to die 15 secs into the fight and enjoy the show the others put up while eating his popcorn "This is a good run" *OmNomNom!
At least i know one, but i still love him man
I gave up on WoW back in BFA and never looked back
my ability to press 3 buttons and then smacking the game with tank meat is old
The problem is that Blizzard force the newest expansion down your throat. There are no servers for older expansions. And now, they are doing the same thing with Classic.
Guilty of running through the content fast, thank you Zygor. I do play 27 characters and want to get them to end game. I am looking forward to the War Within and the new Questing meta where once my main reaches max level the next Character in line can start questing where the main left off. It means I can finally read everything to better understand the story. I stopped playing at the end of MOP and returned at the end of Shadowlands. It's taken me this entire expansion to relearn how to play WoW. Things sure have changed. Currently I'm putting everyone to bed, cleaning bags and banks and take a couple months off to recharge my own batteries. Looking forward to pre-patch and the War Within.
I was going to say “wow isn’t dead, just spiritually dead” because my experience with BFA was so bad. But then I remembered how great Legion was and damn, I am suddenly jonsing for some wow
Legion really was great, that being said Retail has been getting better in the past two years, probably not Legion good, but FAR from BFA.
The problem with "the game is dead" guy in mmos is that people play mmos to play with others but if they think other people stop playing then they stop, thus making a self-fufilling prophecy. But wow ain't dying for a while. Atleast not worse then Shadowlands
I used to be the classic Andy guy. decided to give retail a shot and I'm having more fun than I had in years
You forgot about the "Sweaty raid lead who only plays 1 class telling people how to play their class." guy.
I dont think WoW will ever die. They always do SOMETHING that keeps them going. Warbands is a great idea thats gonna bring me back. Im doing the WoW Remix at the moment and im loving it.
This is what i thought with Day9 recent 'review' of WoW. Im a new player too but i enjoyed retail. I respect his opinion and i know wheres he's coming from. But i just enjoyed WoW for what it is. Doing quest, leveling, casually playing at my own pace. Just recently i tried LFR in MoP remix and i love it. Playing with others scares me since im really new to WoW and afraid im not contributing anything to the raid/dungeon run. But random run with pug feel not bad at all. I enjoyed my time atm with WoW and can see why this game stand strong after all these yrs. Looking forward for TWW.
Best thing about P-Server shills: They play on builds that have an ingame shop that at times charges for items that are basic game rewards ingame.
And the more you read from them the more obvious it becomes: They just don't want to pay to play WoW.
i haven't watched Nixxiom since the "AAAAUGH~! ISHNU ALLA~!" days. I'm glad he's still immensely based.
I'm getting into WoW RP when i resub on friday! I've only dabbled into it before despite being a writer at heart, but hey, better late than never, and i'm gonna try and just not care about what people tell me about the game I've been playing since Burning Crusade released.
I also kind of used to only do the "Only one type of content" kinda thing, mostly because I never enjoyed PVP, but ever since i discovered that you can solo old dungeons, i've been foaming at the mouth for transmogs.
Playing Devil's advocate here. Not having Addons/WeakAuras + best talents/gear is okay. BUT! If you are pushing content that is on the edge of your abilities (lets say early high keys in M+), you gotta be prepared. Otherwise, you are making your party members work much harder, basically carrying you. If you dont want to optimise - dont go into content that requires you to be. There is so much else to do
i like mmos and warcraft universe, but i really sometimes dont have time to play wow as much as i want, also i like to play wow solo without guilds, like roleplaying as outcast. adding some singleplayer activities to wow might not be a bad idea.
They're doing more for solo players in the war within from what I've read, between Delves making it so you can actually do some dungeon stuff on your own and Warbands letting you share resources between your own characters. I support this, because even though i love the community aspect of MMOs, not everyone has time for them.
Loved this video! Community is filled with tons of doom and gloom, negativity, and trolls that you will meet. However, there are 10x as many people who are nice, courteous, and great to play with across all versions. That is why I continue to play.
Nix, i totally agree. the speed runners ruin it for the rest of us who dont run that fast thru content. I went from playing for hours a day because i enjoy it , to playing for maybe an hour a week because its no fun anymore. I started playing a game called Palia, created by several game developers from many large companies , they branched off and created their own game. its alot of fun , tons to do , a garden to tend, a house to build , there is hunting and gathering and cake parties . and so much . the community is warm and welcoming and FRIENDLY .
Nixxiom. My guy. You’re absolutely right about the complaining with speed running. but there are TONS of people who prefer running through the experience as swift as possible. Some people even adore it. Just look at the m+ numbers.
Shouldt be calling those people idiots. We are trying to grow this game, not make it a cesspool of negativity
Been aying since 2005 or 06, nowadays i unfortunately dont play like i use to. I finished BFA but haven't finished the last 2 xpacks and makes me sad. But ill never hate on a game that gave me the fondest memories of my gaming life and the day they shut down the servers, ill probably tear up because the memories will comeback even stronger
Games been dead/dying for a reeeeaaaalllllly long time apparently
If I could add one more type of person that is my true enemy in WoW it’s the “LFG/LFR ruined the game” guy. I had the most fun playing wow after they added LFG/LFR. It made it so much easier to experience all of the content available I didn’t have to spam LF DEADMINES in general chat, I didn’t have to organize a group that wanted to do the content I wanted to do. All I had to do was press I on my keyboard and suddenly I’m playing with a group and enjoying group content. Players that truly feel like LFG/LFR killed the game are just so lame to me and honestly ruined classic for me since I’m forced to spam the game chat to make a group or to GDKP which also is just ridiculous from my point of view.
Yes Nixxiom, please! There are new top 10 idiots of WOW, new top 10 coziest places on Azeroth, 10 new scariest places, etc. I am a fan of your top 10 series that you made in the past. Please make a new version of these videos or at least some of them. The game has changed, so many new zones, continents, and hidden places. I would love to see your modern WOW favorite zones too!
Nixxiom I think you forgot an important one:
the Guy that says the game is bad, not for them.
yet keep their subs on and keeps jumping in once every red moon.
Just to say the game is still bad.
I’m an old guy. Both my sons played wow when it came out. They pretty much played it all the way through. I played some in wotlk. Now they’re grown I started playing sod and in Cata with them. I am enjoying it. I have more free time to play it now. We leveled in phase 3 in less then a day. And raided in the first lockout. We’re still raiding and struggling to fill the raid and everyone is complaining. I don’t mind the extra time in phase 3. I shoulda started in vanilla classic. Being new to the game the longer phases gives me more time to level in Cata.
As someone who plays multiple MMOs and an older sibling - The tribal idiots trying to say other things/versions suck never had an older/younger sibling call them a nerd for liking video games and it shows. If someone likes something let them like it, you do some stupid stuff that others think youre dumb for too and if you think you dont youre lying to yourself. AND anyone who rushes to return to being bored rather than rushing to play the 17 games on backlog is a fool. Dont sit in tradechat bored - go play DD2 or Helldivers or something.
I like how at 1:50 that lady dead ass puts a blunderbuss up to her eye covered by a patch and then closes her unpatched eye to aim the thing.
The queue times for BG's in Dragonflight is so ridiculous. I LOVE BGs, but it seems way worse than when I had last played. I don't mind paying the 15 a month, but the one thing I like to pad my XP with is BGs and can't even get in is so infuriating.
On the other end, I LOVE your idea of keeping the original 3 (classic, TBC and WotLK as it's own time capsule) you mentioned the other day.
That 15 childrens part haha...lol
I'm the guy that keeps on saying on the in-game chat to Blizzard to contact me so we can bring Warcraft to life as a full theme park attraction and more and beyond
I'm the "we should be able to use apostrophes in character names" guy
I want a full theme park attraction of Warcraft. This would change everything for everyone.
The speedy player is victim of the game design. Once a new expansion hits there’s a huge incentive to reach max level to get ready for raid. If you missed that train. You are not going to be invited to pugs. You’d always going to fight from behind in uphill battle. 2- you are paying to play. 15 USD for 4 raids lockouts per character and 4 loots chances per boss. If you missed that, you are wasting your money. 3- the End games content is time gated. You have limited time chances to get progress in per your monthly subscription.
Well on that I get you but there is satisfaction knowing you just outhealed 3 guys in a 40 man with far better gear and you're punching above your weight ;)
I'm the "man I have 46 twinks, why do I need to do this on all of them, can't it be a Accountwide thing?" well maybe the next Addon will fix that problem 🤔😅
same. I started in Burning Crusade, and it took me until MoP to have a character hit max level for an expansion. I just liked to explore and try new things.
I resonate with the disdain for people that rush to max level and then complain that the game does have any content. I’ve had friends like that. Time and time again have I just been chill leveling slow to get the most out of the game and they’ve already progress several quests ahead of me. Needless to say, I’m still friends with them irl, but I never level with them anymore.
I am the 'Lost in the woods' guy. What, there is a whole ton of people doing stuff over there? Meh...where are those mushrooms though?
We just spent the last 5 years talking about how Blizz has gone off the rails. Nixxiom included. Now he was just fooln and he hates his fan base. Rah Rah Retail. Just like kid rock and bud light.
I am the "has a life" guy because I have a family that requires a lot of my free time but I do NOT want the game to be as casual as possible Nixxiom, I swear!
-In my experience, Alliance IS worse at PVP battlegrounds than Horde. I don't know why, but i lost far more as Alliance than Horde.
-As someone who had a life when i played WoW, i would have loved to be able to be able to join the high end raids, but I didn't have the gear and got stuck in LFR hell and it drove me away from WoW more than once. And the few times I had the gear, the specific class that was OP for the season, I didn't have a guild that raided/or they were full/or i had work or college on the raid days. As a very low percentage of people see the higher end raids when they are current, i would argue that the game is being elitist and obnoxious.
And i play MMOs to be social, that is the point of them.
Fun fact, original Top 10 idiots was the first Nixxiom video i have ever seen. Still here :D (Fuck, we are old)
I admit, I used to be the "There's nothing to do..." kind of player. At least in regards to pushing to get to max level, get my dailies, weeklies and such done and afterwards be bored since I tend to only main 1 character at any given time. However...
After Shadowlands I quit all of that, to some extent. I still main 1 (maybe 2) character(s) for gear mainly what I can get from LFR, Heroic Dungeons and through the weekly stuff. Outside of that though I stopped pushing for gear and tend to play on my low level Twinks for fun nowadays. Currently journeying through older zones on a level 20 Twink with no spec, no mounts and no dungeons. While the journey will take longer, it has made my professions feel more important, and thus the experience has been more enjoyable for me.
Great video Nixxiom, thank you for your work!
Didn’t know PinkSparkles was on the loot table. 🤔
Okay, about Skyrim... I did try to go through the main storyline at first in Skyrim, because most games i played before it like: Jedi Knight 1 + 2 + Jedi Academy, Diablo 2, Oni, ect.
But after a while, i did realise that the sidequests are what makes Skyrim such a biiiig adventuring game. (By the time i got to the bad dragon, he didn't stand a chance... lol)
I feel that 5th one too much. When Dragonflight first came out i know of people who were competing to find out who got to max level first, and then complained raids and such weren't coming out fast enough.
My buddy Matt gets upset that I don't use builds or walkthroughs and just kinda play the game when making my builds. I think it's mostly because I tend to out DPS him more often than not, or my particular build doesn't get nerfed into the dirt every other patch.
So true, loved this vid :) I've been playing since launch and seen a lot of changes in that time. I'm a classic enjoyer and been absolutely loving SoD, but I also have a ton of retail toons, MoP remix has been great fun.. there's been so much to do in recent months that we're spoilt for choice! I get frustrated with the complainers and just dont understand why you would stick around and play a game if you dont enjoy it????? I play how i want, when i want.. because I can. :D
Hey Nixxiom, that CoA level 60 alpha is June 13th my guy.
Blizz is indeed garbage company. Nothing wrong with playing on private.
Not at all, but not everyone wants to hear about it how you’ve “beat the man”.
If you have a phone, you support third world country child labor :(
Except private servers sell your data, sell gold to the xiangs that fill private servers, they often install Trojans on your PC, etc. but hey, it’s free 😂
@@tangofett4065 then they can float the fuck away...
@@keelhld94 you have no idea rofl. I posted my own experiences on Twow to streamer Guzu's YT channel (including a trojan installed on my PC) and my god the amount of vitriol I've received is hilarious.
Hey Nixxiom do you 'retire' your characters once they hit 70? I mean if you don't get anymore experience points what is the point? Just wondered how you handled getting to the top level. Thanks.
many people do, especially after gear progression was made pointless by frequent resets via catch up gear.
I just quit the game because im not making another alt to have oh- 5 days of fun untill its stuck in endgame pointless gear grind again.
The word 'parse' is a huge red flag in a player.
and meta and gearscore
Tell you what , that dragonflight story was pretty captivating. 😂
it started out fine at first, then was kinda ok, then hit itself with a dumb hammer, over and over again.
@@UltimateGamerCC just remember how you all got conned by these youtubers to huff copium about how good dragonflight is. And all it took was an inferior version of flying stolen from GW2.
I bet you didnt even try the better version. You have zero inquisitiveness.
@@86Corvus lol i didnt get "conned" by shit, Dragonflight IS good, you're just a hateful person that thinks all content has to be 100% original at ALL times. here's a reality check for you, the Gaming industry has stolen from each other as far back as it began to be an industry, with Atari, Intellivision and Colecovision. also, if GW2 is so great why TF are you here, Guild Wars schmeat rider?
@@86Corvusit's not better it's different, but totally stolen i would agree. Dragonriding is for fast and enjoyable movement around the world, while gryphon is for racing, cause it's close to impossible to gain your height back on gryphon after some maneuvers.
Actually amazing video. Lol the "rushes through content" guy is so real especially in sod it seems like
So I am that idiot with a "life", but I am self-aware enough to realize that I can't get through group stuff, and focus my energy elsewhere. Ain't no point in bitching about how I can't get endgame content I won't set time aside for.
Played wow last time during the Legion expansion. Haven't touched it since party due to all the blizzard stuff, and cause my old machine just couldn't handle the game anymore. You're making me want to return to it. I know it sounds rather strange saying this under this video, but i am honestly considering returning to Azeroth and adventure once more.
Got my first proper steps into wow this month. Looking forward to to experiencing my first expansion launch day, but the "Wow is dead" spammers under every teaser, video and help chat really puts a damper on things :/
I just want to bonk demons on the head with the power of The Light, and my Big Hammer
It’s me, i’m the “this game is dead” guy 🤐
Lol. You'll be dead before WoW probably.
and you are right.
@@86Corvus Eventually…
What video was Nixxiom using at the start there?
I love this video! It is one of your best! I like how relatable and humble it is. Great job!
The reason people rush through content is fomo. It's just that simple, especially with things like class discord where everyone is posting vaults and logs and what bosses they are killing. No one wants to miss out and say it took them longer. Also gatekeeping is a huge factor, if you get aotc week 1, you will have invites for the rest of the expac vs someone who waited and doesn't look as good on paper.
You forgot the people in heroic and mythic 0 dungeons who treat it like a military bootcamp and if you step out of line (pull something you wernt meant too, rip aggro because the tanks sucks or just generally just breathe wrong) then these guys just explode and vote kick you (in normal/heroic) people who three stack should not be allowed to vote kick anyone. Anyway, I was in a M0 Neltharus and kept ripping aggro from the tank on my alt and the tank thought i was taunting them and raged about how i am expendable and not the tank. They simply could not understand me when i tried to explain how I was getting aggro, i think they were from FF14 or something.
I think the two that bother me the most are the rush through the game and then claim there’s nothing to do. The other is the WoW is dead people.
I really like playing Cataclysm, it's the version I really got into (I was way to dumb and young to achieve anything of significance in TBC/WotLK) and I overall really like the zones. With the new barrens and the Twilight Highlands being my clear favourite of Cataclysm. Currently playing the Cata classic server but I will also most likely play on a Cata private server again when Cata classic ends.
"Some people dont use addons" Like damn, how the heck is that possible. I feel if i dont have at least a bossmod and a class weakauras i feel inmediately weaker
I'm one of the guys with a busy life. But I just play when I can, as long as I want to. Don't usually raid or anything, but if i have some free time I might go ahead and do one. Never complained that it needs to be more casual friendly
I remember a guy in trade chat sitting in Shatt back in BC who was willing to bet _anything_ he owned that WoW would never attempt a third expansion because "the game is dead". The "welfare epics" and casuals had killed it dead and Blizz would hang up their MMO aspirations forever.
Did anybody take him up on his bet? Not that I'd expect the guy to actually pony up once he lost, but still....
I bet he's still playing too, because he thinks he can tell folks how BC was everything and the other expansions are "stupid". Yeah, I have known that guy.
Is he liking his eighth serving of humble pie? 😂 Number nine is going to be out of the oven soon. I hope he's still hungry.
So far I've been doing many dungeons in Cata, while leveling and both normal & heroics for gear. The worst person BY FAR is the hunter who keeps ninjapulling because he wants to save a few seconds here and there but 9/10 times causes the run to take longer due to deaths and/or mob abilities not being interrupted because there are too many of them so they either heal or do massive aoe damage. And of course, anyone who unironically plays a gnome, those weirdos.
Super good video. These people are a curse within the game. Glad to see them get pointed out. I wish Blizzard would see this video. Love from Denmark!
Playing at the end of an expa sion might be the best experiance i have gotten in a long while. I have time to quest, transmog and more without think about raiding and gear. BUT i love the start aswell to lvl in a disent time and gearing up and geting ready to raid :)
You forgot the “stay in your lane guy”
HEAVY on the content rushers because they create a vacuum that sucks other normal players into rushing if they want to keep up with end game content. When i played classic in Lockdown the world felt so alive because they were people taking at their own pace, you could find people in every zone
number 5# basically 6 days into Mop Remix
oh yes, "Remix is too slow, i can never farm up that much Bronze, i dont want limitations!" even when a whole week hadnt passed out of a 95 Day Event. :P
BG mainers are literally most wow players lol. They just actively keep working against their own best interests.
And in my experience, it is almost entirely Alliance players that do this.
Plenty of horde going "reeeee HoRdE dUmB Durrr" or shittalk their whole team the whole match instead of playing..
I just reply to whatever they say with "Less QQ, more PewPew" or "less typing, more sniping". I have them as macros and they usually work.
Everybody rushing through content is a direct result of them putting time crunches on everything. Most people don't have the time to stop and smell the roses because they don't want to be left behind. If you're like me and have little time to play, ERA is actually a great game for character progression that you will never lose so it's very casual friendly. Play at your own pace and ignore the idiots who try to dictate how to play the game that YOU pay for.
If you want to talk about the infuriating part of the game (at least for me) is that every time there's new content everyone wants a fresh start. I don't. I've done that five or six times now. I'm tired of having to start over. Here's to hoping that they backdate ERA with some changes to make things better, doubt it will happen but who knows!
i came for the LoLs and the sand and ain't see nobody laughing
