There was a legendary necklace named "Talisman of Binding Shard", that was looted by a player named Noktyn. It was said to never be intended to drop on the loot table! Bonus: A shirt named "Martin Fury", which could kill everything within a certain range was accidentally given to a played named Karatechop, who used the shirt to clear Ulduar 10-man with a group and everyone in that run was banned for cheating. Since the original version, Martin Fury now kills the caster rather than everything in a certain range!
Banning a player for their Blizz's own mistakes is fucking retarded. They could have just removed achievements and loot from the accounts but instead Blizz decided to blame the players for Blizz's own errors. Real professional.
Before _The Burning Crusade_ released: Only Alliance Players could be Paladins and only Horde Players could be Shamans. And before _Cataclysm_ released: Only Night Elves and Tauren could be Druids. Teebu's Blazing Longsword is the most iconic Epic-level Sword in the game due to its name and appearance being shown on the Vanilla videogame box. In _Battle for Azeroth_ Blizzard created an updated version of the sword called Teebu's Scorching Straight Sword. The majority of the Playable Races available in the game are either descended from Trolls or are connected to the Titans in some way or another, with the only actual exceptions being the Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, and Pandaren. In the _Legion_ expansion the Players are through a series of quests available in Suramar are able to ascend the ranks and become the Jarl of a Vrykul Clan known as the Jandvik. This is significantly the ONLY time in the entire games' history so far where the Player is made an actual leader instead of a Faction Commander/General like in WoD, a Faction Representative like in BfA, and a Class Order Hall Leader like in _Legion._ The Hozen were introduced in _Mists of Pandaria_ as having joined The Horde, and within Dazar'Alor Horde Players can see new Horde Recruits storming in through portals including Hozen. The Alliance technically has the allegiance of two separate groups of Murlocs with the Jinyu actually being highly-evolved Murlocs.

Leeroy Jenkins is, on occasion, even more well known than WoW itself. I've seen his historic and monumental warcry uttered by people who then, as it happened, didn't even know where it came from in the first place.....
Fun fact: in the cataclysm-beta there was a game-breaking bug with the new zone phasing on the Lost Isles trapping players. The quest causing this bug was "It's a Town-In-A-Box". What happened is that the map-cluster which contains the town, that was created by a goblin explosion, didn't phase properly. So when you walked in the cluster meant you could not walk out anymore. The only way to get out was a difficult from the mailbox to a roof and then slide on the other end from this roof.
Didn't the alliance to horde playerbase ratio skew back in favor of alliance now that x-faction gameplay can be done and most people went dwarf for stoneform? just curious
0:48 What? An ex raid member sold his acc for 14000 euro in tbc. He had full t3 and atiesh. And I got offered more than 20.000 euro some years later and declined. I also had full t3, gressil, tf etc. - currently I wouldn't even sell my acc for 30.000 euro. The difference is: Not everyone brags about it in a newspage.
I had that mount in BC. I contacted blizzard after my account was hacked. They moved that mount off of my account. Blizz never helped me get it back. This was way before battle net.
@@meatdepartment69 it’s why I refuse to spend anything outside of monthly fee. I had to cancel that card and request a new one to stop charges.
One important thing is missing: At the beginning the conflict between alliance and horde wasn't planned and up until Cataclysm there was a zone where you could see that.
Fun fact about languages in wow: if you learned Furbolg in Df, then those other fraction peeps who also did it can understand it, thus it can be used as a common language between horde and alliance ;)
We need a guild if there isn't one already. Boomers United! It really makes me wonder why there are so many males playing females. Is it just because they like watching them run from behind? I remember the opening of the Dark Portal, the server I was on kept crashing!
I remember when WOW first came out, before ques for pvp zones. Hundreds of us would line up in the fields to fight, and the lag was so bad you could not tell where you were... Boy dial up was a blast back then.
There’s an episode of the 2017 Ducktales reboot where Huey is playing an mmo with his mother called Legends of Legendquest where he ended up reaching a very high level, his mother makes the “his power level is over 9000” joke, solely by farming and never leaving his farm. I always wondered if it was a reference to the player who hit level 90 by just picking herbs.
Something interesting to know about the South Park episode. Blizzard got a call from South Park asking if they could do an episode on them. Blizzard approved and sent a few people over to help work on it. The enemy of the episode was actually based on one of the staff members that works at Blizzard. (Source, I was a former Make-a-Wish kid and went there to Irvine and was told that)
Melee priests are fairly decent for levelling in vanilla/classic, even if they don't have talents. Wand until melee swing is off CD, Melee, use instant cast spell of your choosing, wand, repeat. Best part is that they benefit greatly from AP if you are using dragonslayer
The age data is interesting. where did it come from. As WoW is old enough now that those demographic many have significantly changed. I mean if it was from 2015 even a 20-25 year old is in their late 20s and early 30s. If it was from 2010 you are into your mid to late 30s now. If it was from 2020 then it is likely accurate... but the info would be useful.

Before flying in Azeroth you could reach The Gnomish Airport and get both behind as well as under Stormwind by climbing mountains.
my favorite spot to clip under stormwind was past the Inn and AH in the archway leading to the Mage quarter.
@@sykode that wasn't bad, though I think that was more well-known than the route that went over the mountains and had an amazing view.
Back when Molten Core was released, at the time, the in game events had to be tied to an in-game object. For Ragnaros to spawn after Major Domo was killed, it was tied to a rat that sat on a rock pile up in the corner of the room.
As a horde if you had the mace Ironfoe from BRD and it procced, it gave the wearer the buff «Fury of Forgewright». This buff allowed the player to cross faction communicate as the wearer could speak and understand Dwarfish. This being the only way to cross faction communicate was actually against therms of use considering you werent allowed to cross faction communicate 😂
Mindcontrol worked also. You could talk via /me if you mindcontrolled a player from the other faction.
before wtolk when the event were people became ghouls you could actually talk to players from the other faction if they were ghouls as well.
the whole double agent fun fact brought back memories I forgot I had. was leveling a panda, forgot the server and I just saw a level like 106 or 116 running around. got confused then realized who it was lol
I loved the Vashjir underwater zone.
Would love a part 2!
U mean people really didn't know that WoW have books?💀
Elizabeth Weir's and Bill's conversation to distract Bill while Rodney give himself access to Stargate to return to Atlantis in SGA series
Melee Clerics for Priests please!
These were awesome! Thanks for putting this all together.
Leeroy Jenkins is, on occasion, even more well known than WoW itself. I've seen his historic and monumental warcry uttered by people who then, as it happened, didn't even know where it came from in the first place.....
Rest in Peace Hayven Games
Please, please Blizz. Do a memorial? Perhaps a NPC in the Cathedral?
melee priests? Hope they will reconsider that idea some day, sounds pretty cool
sounds like paladin to me, tbh
Fun fact: in the cataclysm-beta there was a game-breaking bug with the new zone phasing on the Lost Isles trapping players. The quest causing this bug was "It's a Town-In-A-Box". What happened is that the map-cluster which contains the town, that was created by a goblin explosion, didn't phase properly. So when you walked in the cluster meant you could not walk out anymore. The only way to get out was a difficult from the mailbox to a roof and then slide on the other end from this roof.
The Slaughtered Lamb pub in Stormwind is a reference to the same Pub in the movie An American Werewolf in London.
That was GREAT ...just like old times.
101. In WOTLK, in the Dalaran sewers, there are three young turtles talking to a rat. A reference to the ninja turtles.
I don't think a kid dying from overplaying belongs in such a list, It's not something that should be mentioned so casually.
Didn't the alliance to horde playerbase ratio skew back in favor of alliance now that x-faction gameplay can be done and most people went dwarf for stoneform? just curious
not only that but Elves and Humans have really good racials nowdays
What I'd do to get a classic wow restoration. Where we get a developed and released version of everything that had planned for vanilla.
I don't know how much of a nerd this makes me but I knew most of these, great video regardless! 😅
I wonder what percentage of WoW players are 65 or older?
Thanks for memories.... Been on Wow since Dec 11, 2004..... It was fun going down memory lane...
The time u took for this video props :)
Great video Got my sub!
Ah blablabla
You will never get tired of these videos even if you know most of the facts❤
I had that mount in BC. I contacted blizzard after my account was hacked. They moved that mount off of my account. Blizz never helped me get it back. This was way before battle net.
@@meatdepartment69 it’s why I refuse to spend anything outside of monthly fee. Cause if you get jacked, rest assured, they won’t help beyond un-delete services etc. they are the laziest contact group in gaming today.
I even had to ask for a new debit card because I canceled a sub, and it even listed as canceled on battle net. But it kept coming out. A bug? They just kept replying to the ticket, need more info. I had to cancel that card and request a new one to stop charges.
The Cranius Presents shoutout is amazing god I love his videos.
I have a bunch of the dc limited figures for wow. They're badass. Even if i don't play wow they're always on display
One important thing is missing: At the beginning the conflict between alliance and horde wasn't planned and up until Cataclysm there was a zone where you could see that.
Still waiting for that necromancer class
Diablo says Hi!
I sooo wanna do the Running of the Gnomes!
101 - Blizzard is still working out how to include the biggest villain in game, Chick Norris.
100 Facts About World of Warcraft (that you forgot you've heard 100 times already)
Fun fact about languages in wow: if you learned Furbolg in Df, then those other fraction peeps who also did it can understand it, thus it can be used as a common language between horde and alliance ;)
Fact: I have the Spectral Tiger, but as a Megabloks character. Yes, there was Warcraft "Lego".
Mooclucks back :O
Warcraft is healing, the cluck is back 🩹⛑️
Another one for you if he dosent say it.
You used to be able to swim from Eastern Kingdoms to Kalimdor.
As one of the .5% of older players - and a real woman - I’m feeling… well… chuffed, really.
Now, make dragon races easier, you horrible little kids.
55. Been playing since year 4. We stand united!
Good video!
Something interesting to know about the South Park episode. Blizzard got a call from South Park asking if they could do an episode on them. Blizzard approved and sent a few people over to help work on it. The enemy of the episode was actually based on one of the staff members that works at Blizzard. (Source, I was a former Make-a-Wish kid and went there to Irvine and was told that)
In canals od Dalaran you can find 4 turtles around the rat.. “Ninja turtles” ? :)
Melee priests are fairly decent for levelling in vanilla/classic, even if they don't have talents.
Wand until melee swing is off CD, Melee, use instant cast spell of your choosing, wand, repeat.
Best part is that they benefit greatly from AP if you are using dragonslayer
Can't believe you hired Matt Berry to narrate this.
#101: After the 10 year anniversary, Blizzard sent players who had subscribed continuously since release day a free statue of an orc riding a wolf.
Note: Leeroy put his 30sec video on Thottbot to get more Raiders on his server.
Extra Note: He had to log off bc of the popularity that video created, flooding starter zones.
Edit: LOVE the shirt! Warlock was my first 60 in Vanilla.
I was wondering what level DoubleAgent made it too. Cool he hit lv 90! I started to do the same thing but gave up about lv 30 lol.
Wow amazing video!! 😊
