A couple of lore notes, though: - The backstory you gave for Gul'dan **IS** the alternate (WoD) Gul'dan's backstory. The main timeline Gul'dan was a student of Ner'zhul, who inherited Kil'Jaeden's favor when Ner'zhul started getting flaky about the whole "corruption of the Orcs" thing. - This following detail is not needed and would have made the video unnecessarily longer, but it's cool trivia nonetheless: Before he got a seat on the Eredar leadership, Archimonde was the student of a master summoner named Thal'Kiel, who planned to overthrow Kil'Jaeden and Velen with his army of demons. Archimonde snitched on Thal'Kiel to the two head honchos, with the goal of securing popular support and power for himself. The plan worked, Archimonde is rewarded with a seat of leadership, and Thal'Kiel goes on to become the Demonology Warlock artifact weapon.
I took a break for the holidays. Spent time with my family and then I got SUPER sick with a million problems. Still a bit ill even as I'm typing this, but I'm pretty much all better. During patch 8.1, my DK main was causing some minor mayhem in the Storm Peaks. While I was flying around I got near the top of one of the mountains and saw *something* that looked a bit like a phylactery frozen within a large chunck of ice. I didn't have my mining pick with me so I wasn't able to get it out. Perhaps that thing holds the soul of Kel'thuzzad...?

Evil is as evil does. Kil'jaeden made the wrong choices for the right reasons, but then again, so have countless other historical tyrants. And he took the pursuit of vengeance MUCH too far. Nuuri and Rakeesh didn't deserve what happened to them, nor did all the other murdered draenei. I do agree that Archimonde is worse, however, at least in terms of pure selfishness and lack of conscience.
Yeah I agree he truly thought the path he chose was the right way and believed in the cause unlike Archimonde who was just power hungry. I bet when he was defeated he was relieved he was gonna die because everything he worked so hard for 25000 years was for nothing and there was no going back from that so he had no purpose left. Kil’jaeden will always be my favorite wow villain.... ❤️
Sadly, by your standards, Zul actually falls off the list. As at the end of his storyline it becomes apparent that he had been had the entire time. All his visions, all manipulations by the old gods, in particular G'huun.
