Rotec R2800 - seven-cylinder radial engine, power 110 hp -
Most people don't appreciate old planes like them anymore
I do
where did you got that anidote from?
Wow....genau mein Fall. Ein wirklich wahnsinnig schöner Flieger 👍🏻👍🏻 nostalgie pur. Grüße aus Pirmasens
Ein traumhafter Anblick, als "alter" Luftfahrttechnik Kenner" weiß ich, wie viel Liebe und Geduld und "know how" in der wunderschönen Maschine steckt. Einfach toll!
Schön gesagt 😎👍
Beautiful! The Worlds first true Fighter. 100 years later 1915-2015. The E. was the first fighter to have a synchronized MG on the nose to fire through the propeller. The Father of all fighter pilots flew it, Oswald Boelcke
Important piece of aviation history. Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
And Max Immelmann, who gave the name to the famous flight maneuver.
The first true fighter plane. Changed the game in the air so greatly they referred to that time period as the “Fokker Scourge”, and the allies called their own planes “Fokker fodder”.
After about 6 months the Entente finished their own forward firing planes, and the playing field leveled while the arial arms race began in earnest.
😍 Gorgeous footage! Love this plane, almost kinda forward-thinking with the monoplane design, especially that early into World War 1.
Buddecke, Parschau, Wintgens, Immelmann, Boelcke get together in spirit to see this wonderful performance.
Frankl would also shed a tear.
You forget Von Althaus - the pilot who continued to fly even though he was nearly blind.
Ein tolles Ereignis. Flieger Top - Kameramann Top - Video TOP !!!
I like this plane. Hello from the USA
Awesome little plane. Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
Thank you for a wonderful and captivating video! Beautiful aircraft and flight!
Glad you enjoyed my video 😎👍
Much better than the original. That one has a modern engine and ailerons. I bet it flies like a dream.
yea um I don't think it will fly like a dream. I seen a comment about his having a 3/4 scale replica i think with a modern engine and ailerons and it was still hard to fly
beautiful plane ... excellent camera technique... thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed my video 👍😎
Beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed my video. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Outstanding!
Glad you enjoyed my video 😎👍
I first heard of this plane from Wings of War, an original Xbox game I fell in love as a kid.
Luckily some people put so much work, money and time in such a project that we can see those birds fly 😀👍
It looks a light as a feather.
Well this one at least got ailerons. The originals had to roll with a complex systems of wires, which made the wings warp. Crazy stuff... and they used them in combat.
This plane has some modifications to get an ultralight registration. Like the ailerons. Thanks for watching my video 🙂👍
@@705547 i'm happy for you :D fly safe o7
@@705547 I watched this video specifically because I wanted to know how to actuate roll control on E.III as I'm building a RC model of it, and it's got normal ailerons instead of warping wing hahahah
Also the original had a rotary engine not a radial.
damn thats beautiful
Amazing plane! Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
The Sopwith Pup and the DH2 were the first planes that the Brits put up that could deal to this. And from the French it was the Nieuport 11. I think the Nieuport 17 came later than the Eindecker era. Until those showed up this Eindecker just had a field day shooting Allied planes out of the sky with its synchronised machine gun.
un lujo
Amazing plane 😎 Thanks for watching👍
I like these planes
She is beautiful
this plane is unique in that it can fire through the propeller without damaging the prop
Yeah. Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
beautiful and fly very welll...... what kind of airfoil did you use ?
I´m just filming, sorry i have no connection to the builder.
During some of those tight turns, especially his first one, I was thinking that he was coming quite close to a tip stall. With such a small tail fin and at such low altitudes that could have been disastrous.
It's got ailerons and the engine is not a rotary one, but anyway, it looks cool too ;)
This plane has some modifications to get a ultralight registration. So it can be used as a normal daily plane. But i think they did a great work to keep it look as original as possible. Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
My favorite plane on par with the airco dh 2, they are just so sexy
Luckily there are some replicas around so we can enjoy those birds in the air 😎👍
5:33 -- I just watched a Fokker Eindecker (or pretty close, at least) do an Immelmann turn. Who'd have thought they'd ever see that happen?
Accept that wasn't an Immelmann.
@@archerpiperii2690 I accept it.
@@TimDonk Ahh yes, that should have been spelled differently.
@@archerpiperii2690 I'm a pedantic prick.
I've heard that these Rotec engines had some problems..
Upgraded with newfangled ailerons for safety.
Hello, I'm doing a video on the "fokker scourge", can I use a part of this video for mine? You'll be credited.
Yes, you can feel free to use parts of my video👍
@@705547 thank you very much
Is this the 3/4 scale or full scale aircraft?
It´s full scale and really close to the original, just with a modern engine and some modifications to get a ultralight registration. Such as ailerons instead of wing warping ..
@@705547 It's very nice. Is it an Airdrome Aeroplanes kit from the U.S.?
As far as i know it's completely self build and not a kit, but i can´t tell you for sure. I´m just filming 😎
@@705547 Aargh! I just spent the whole video watching for wing warping : ( That explains why I didn't see it. Odd I didn't see ailerons though.
I guess they wouldn't risk fitting a rotary engine like the original; a bit too unstable in flight and prone to oil leaking.
Rotaries loose oil by default
It must take some nerve to fly the Eindekker! No dihedral and no fixed tail surfaces makes it an unstable little beast. Mind you it took even more nerve to fly it into combat after a couple of flying lessons.
GOOD EVENING, WE HAVE A REPLICA OF THE FOKKER EINDECKER III, MODIFIED WITH O200 ENGINE, BUILT BY A FRIEND . WE WOULD LIKE TO FLY IT BUT I NOT HAVE SOME DRAWINGS OF THE CONTROLS OF THE DIRECTIONAL AND HORIZONTAL PLANS.
WE ALREADY HAVE THE COMMANDS BUT WE HAVE LONGITUDINAL STABILITY PROBLEMS ! SURE YOURS HAS DIFFERENT LEVERS THAT GIVE MORE STABILITY !
YOU CAN HELP US ? THANK YOU
NINO
Hello, you should try to contact the pilot and owner "Jürgen Weller", or the company "Weller Flugzeugbau" for more informations. With google you can find their websites.

Ailerons? No rotary? Meh...
Presumably the guy flying it didn’t fancy dying. It’s still got no dihedral and no fixed tail surfaces, so it’s dangerous enough.
