I literally have the same hairstyle and length as you now, and look new ways to experiment with it. Also idk why I'm so invested in this small vlog channel but it's the best thing I've discovered in 2023. Much love from Greece!
As a fellow curly hair man & a barber myself, you can also use a old t shirt to scrunch your hair when it’s fully dry to take away that shine & make it actually touchable
how would u do it without taking the actual product fully out? cause i feel like my hair would instantly get frizzy after the shirt. thanks for the advice btw man. i never want my hair too shiny
@@borisflorio1658you need to gently scrunch it, just to the point where you don’t feel the crunch/cast anymore. You should be good. You’re gonna get a little bit of frizz regardless but if you really want no frizz then I wouldn’t suggest it. A hair oil after scrunching can minimize that as well

Dude, you're an actual godsend! I receive so many compliments on my hair now, and I genuinely like my face. Also, I find myself swearing excessively because of Carlin too 😅. Thanks for helping me improve myself, Frankie! Honestly, I could watch you talk about anything, not just hair
I must thank you for your tips, dude Using pomade and foam really changed my life, like.. I have more time to do other stuff, now that I don't need to spend 1 freaking hour or more styling my hair with 3 to 4 products and still making it look greasy and ugly? lol Truly life changing :D Lots of love from Brazil, btw
I had long curly hair and had a good system going on for it. And then I lost my hair due to chemo last year. The curls have come back but my hair is still short and I haven't known how to style the curls. I appreciate this video so much!
I’ve been using Harry’s for a while now that I have short hair but I just tried using cremo’s hairstyling cream and it honestly works so much better. I would definitely give it a try.
@@MrFrankieJoseph update: yes, the cremo hairstyling cream is the chosen one. It’s literally perfect for our hair type. No shade at Harry’s but I feel like the cream is the perfect hair product for short to mid length curly hair.
The key is to experiment with products, your curly hair is different from the next guys. If you have a frizzy, matte greyish asphalt looking super dense coarse hair like mine, then a gel that says it will add some shine and definition is probably better than a low shine pomade. I still use a mousse as base though cuz it’s light and the most spreadable type of product
OMG I'm so happy I found your channel. I have the exact same hairstyle and length at this moment and I was wondering how would I look if I just let my curls grow (I have never experimented with it). Seeing your videos with long curls is giving me hope, I love them!
a problem that i come across is that when i use a towel i’ll dab it like you do and give it a lot of scunches, would you say that if i just dab it and do less scrunches and get just enough of water out where it’s not dripping would be better? because your hair should be more wet when applying products, right?
Yo Frankie just wanna say thanks to you Harry’s texture putty has saved my hair. I get non stop good hair days now. I use it along with a leave in conditioner spray and god I just love my hair I’ve gotten couple ppl Asking me “what do you do with your hair” “what products do you use” “how do you get ur curls like that” and the shock on their faces when I just say “pomade”. It’s the last thing you’d expect and yet it’s a blessing.
Man !!! I had the same experience when i started using Harry’s. That’s why I made that original video in first place, couldn’t believe how my hair looked and the response I was getting lol. Knew other guys out there needed to know 😂😂 happy to hear it helped my dude !!
Hello man, First thank you for your content, I find it really enjoyable especially that you're a sincere honest person, that lives a fairly normal life and relate to us, not like all these internet gurus out there. You're not trying also to market and sponsor some specific products. One question that I want to ask you, my hair used to be very frizz and I used to shampoo every day (I was dumb and ignorant). A couple of weeks ago I purchased from the supermarket a shampoo, conditioner and leave in, and started using them. Now that I found your video, I was trying to do this every day conditioner - leave in - mousse - matte wax. But then I felt that this was too much, so I ditched the leave in. However, I find that later in the day and when I see my hair in the evening I find it has some frizz, so I thought of using the leave in again. However, I am worried about my hair, like it would be too much product xD, what do you think. I have even shorter hair than yours.
Thanks for watchin my man!!! Good question, sounds like you are using a lot. Maybe try using a shampoo and conditioner with no sulfates, silicones, or parabens and you should be good there. Condition as much as u want but shampoo maybe once a week (maybe lol I got 2 sometimes but hey whatever) I’d maybe just try using two products. Do the leave in or a mousse and then your pomade. Then if things are frizzy later in the day maybe just wet your hands and add some water, the product should basically reactivate
Frankie!!! I need you on this one man. 1.the proudct I’ve been usuing everyday i read the ingredients and it has alcohol in it and I’m getting hella dandruff is it drying out my scalp? 2. Would Harry’s be better to use everyday? Will it damage my hair? 3. The product is cantu and I also think it’s weighing my hair down I have no volume will Harry’s improve that as well? Give a better hold?
My man!!! Okay yea if it’s drying out your head I would stop using that stuff. I used to use the Cantù curl reviver spray but stopped for the same reason. I like the Harry’s because it’s the water base so you can take a shower and not use any shampoo or conditioner and it comes right out. I’ve been using it for years and I haven’t noticed any hair damage! Keep me posted man. I hope this helps. But for sure I’d avoid any sort of product with alcohol in it
The problem that I run into is that it just seems to take my hair forever to dry. I pat it down with a microfiber towel and have my own curl enhancing moose that I use, but I haven't tried using Harry's pomade yet so maybe that will help.
It’ll definitely help. I’m telling ya, use a normal towel and just be easy but dab the moisture out of your hair. Then wait like 10 mins for it to air dry and then start putting products in from there
Picked up my Harry’s earlier today at Walmart I really hope this holds up Frankie! The proudct I was usuing before weighed my hair down I feel like but this is a water base so less chemicals I think…
dude your hair looked amazing in this!! do you think this could work for wavy hair? i know the pomade is for any hair really but what about the foam? also can the foam also be used everyday?
Thank u my friend 🙏🏼 I definitely think it’ll work for wavy hair, will probably make it more curly tho. The foam I’m using is for curly hair and I’ve been using it everyday with the Harry’s for a while (unless I wear a hat haha) and I haven’t noticed any issues. Both are water based products and seem to wash out easy as hell so I think it’s all good
Love your energy man. I'm new to the whole curly hair life but am wondering whether or not you think there are just some people that can't have curly that can decently develop at least? Because man my hair just seems too short for luscious curls like yours to grow. Also any general advice for a short haired fella like myself
btw frank, i stopped using products because they build up in my hair overtime and feel like it damages my hair. dries them out and makes them wavy. whats ur take on product build up?
I’ve heard this too man. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s much you can do except try to exfoliate your scalp once a month (which actually if you’ve never been to a Head Spa I fully recommend lmao it’s like greatest head massage you’ll ever get and they clean your scalp)
hey bro so this harry’s stuff is pretty good i’ve had alot of good hair days but some days it’s like my hair seems wet still even after messing with it i think maybe i’m adding too much on some days? or like a greasy feel
Yeah man I’d try to use less and see if that helps. Also idk if you’re doing this but You have to make sure it’s dry before you start messing with it, if it’s damp messing around with it won’t do much so make sure it’s not damp at all when u mess w it
My man!! A couple ppl told me it was discontinued there. What a Buncha shit !! Here’s a vid I made with some other options ruclips.net/video/7jXySvGS5M4/видео.html
Dude i have a question, so i was born with naturally straight hair and something i did was the aggressive thing with the towel and i would go crazy with it. in one of your videos you said something about if you want super straight hair than you can do this could this be why my hair is so straight like board straight? i was thinking use harry’s on it and change the way i dry could possibly help it
Oh yeah dude 100% lol back when I used to want my hair straight I used to aggressively towel dry the shit out of it and it took most of the curl out of my hair lol but I also think I was damaging it? Either way lol yes, that’s why I dab with a towel now because otherwise you’re distributing all hair out and flattening the curls ya know? I think if you want curly or wavy hair, try bein easy with it and dab ur head vs rubbing ur head if that makes sense lol then try the Marc Anthony shit. Hope that helps man 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Oh man do I lol I made this video months ago that started all this madness in the first place: ruclips.net/video/Sjz9EyO5mZs/видео.html Hope this helps! And I’ve got a bunch more vids talking about my longer hair 🙏🏼
i’ve been usuing cantu i think i’m going to switch to harry’s because someone told me to switch to cantu and it worked for a minute but now eveyrone is talking about how bad it is and my hair is always flat after i apply even when scrunching
Yeah ! I used Cantu for a while but it just made my hair sticky and kinda greasy idk didn’t love it lol but Harry’s and I mean pomade in general works great
I’m not sure if I should continue to use foam, it makes the hair quite damp again and I feel that the pomade applied afterwards doesn’t work so well on that damp hair. And by the way, thank you for your videos. They are very helpful for me because we both have a similar hair structure and you know the struggle with different curly hair products 😂. You are not promoting any sh*t and just try to help other people. Keep it up 👌
My friend!! Appreciate the love. I’ve been skipping the foam too unless I’m using it on my hair when it’s dry. It works really well if u scrunch it into dry hair for some reason
Yooo! i’m fairly new here i’ve seen a few videos. I get my hair permed but i’m thinking about cutting it off i had pretty straight hair before it and i wanted to know if the Pomade could help me with the style i want, kind of like a flip up in the front? i would use the foam too but i’m not looking for a curlier look or whatever! Looked amazing with yours though
Yo man !! I used to chemically straighten my hair lmao we all want what we don’t have 😂 but I always used the Harry’s stuff even when it was straight. I think I know what look ur talking about, for sure need straighter hair to do it so I’d skip the curl foam and just use pomade.
Good question man !! I think that’s more for straight hair ppl. I used to condition my hair everyday and it was fine but now I only do it every couple days
great question lol. i honestly dont know, i never used the mousse on my long hair. however, i have a feeling it would have been fucking aweomse. do me a favor lol if you have long hair and happen to give this a shot, let me know how it works 🤣
i do everything that you do expect when i put my product in i always constantly scrunch because no matter what my hair will not dry unless i mess with it and is that okay to do? even after it dries is it okay to mess with it i feel like you get a drier look
Yeah man for sure. I can see how that would work vs just lettin it dry. But ya exactly, the more u mess with it the more dry your hair is gunna look. Just careful not to mess too much because it’ll get frizzy if get too crazy lol
Yo frankie so I have wavy hair bro. Not curly. I think i’m dealing with some very dry hair after I dap my hair with a towel and go to let it air dry bro, it’ll just look wet and you see no diffrence. Like people ask if i use “moose” and it’s not harry’s it’s just my hair has never been able to dry even before I started usuing products. Idk what to do man.
It just doesn’t wanna dry at all??? Honestly I tried using a hair dryer with a diffuser (made a vid about it) and that helped a lot. My longer hair took so long to dry haha I’d have ice in my hair when it was winter
Na you don’t have to. I just do that as a last step if I have time, otherwise I just let it dry and then fuck with it a little, when I get to where I’m goin, after it’s dry
Can you help me out? I have medium length hair not long but not too short too , its like the front hair can touch my nose and sides are long enough to touch the top of my ears. My hair is really thin , Even after getting the curls it feels empty at the top because of the thin hair , how could I get more volume? should I grow my hair more or do something else?
I would grow your hair out a little more but also I’d look into “Hims” or some other hair thickening treatments. I’ve never had to do any but I have friends that have done some (specifically Hims) and it worked great. There’s a lot of solutions out there for growing thicker hair ! Just need to do some research and find one you trust most. I wish I had better advice but that’s what I’ve heard 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This shit looks like the real deal man. I started seeing tiktoks about this proudct and a friend of mine uses it smells very rich. I was wondering is this only for curly hair or can this routine work for anyone? Would love to know man Also do you put Harry’s on wet or dry hands
Dude it’s great! Helped me a lot lmao I think it probably works for everyone. I used to chemically straighten my hair (dark times lol) and I always used it back then. Never tried the Marc Anthony stuff with the straight hair tho ! Just glad I learned to embrace this shit 😂 life’s easier these days lol
broooo so I went and got a trim and I thought I had hella dandruff turns out it’s Procuct build up must’ve been the shit I was usuing I gotta switch to Harry’s bro will it be better?
When my hair is long I ask for pretty much same length all around. When it’s shorter like now I ask for a little longer on top (like 3in) and 2in everywhere else around. And have them do the whole cut with a razor, not scissors
@@MrFrankieJoseph I figured, some people recommend a wide tooth to detangle hair and others to simply use your fingers. I was using a comb but yea I noticed I got better results with my fingers
I have extremely coarse hair and it has max volume i want to make it bouncy and smooth any suggestions Frankie? Just keep up the simplicity in your videos. fun to watch. Why don't you audition for deadpool kind of charecters?
Hmmm this Marc Anthony stuff might actually work by itself for you. If you have coarse ass hair already maybe (can’t believe I’m going to say this) skip the pomade Also - for the record - I’d love to play a Deadpool character lmao
I scrunch the shit outta it with the towel man. Not aggressively but I really try to get most of the moisture out before I put anything in. I start with it pretty damp in the first place
I'm gonna put my trust in you and buying the Curl Enhancing Styling Foam, Extra Hold mousse, but purchasing Old Spice Hair Styling Putty, matte finish instead of the Harry's putty. I'll keep ya posted with my results.
Lmaoo I’ve mentioned it in all of my previous hair tutorials 😂😂😂 combs just separate my curls and makes my hair stringy so I skip them altogether unless I’m going for that Patrick Bateman American Psycho look lmao
Hi Frankie, than 2:472:47 k you so much for the video, I saw both about Harry's Putty including this one: ruclips.net/video/JCdXed3NSRk/видео.htmlsi=_phY9UCncKGRmdhj Your hair looks amazing after using Harry's Putty, when it's dry Roughly speaking, my hair it's some similar yours, maybe a little less wavy, I've fine and thin hair, I've using the Harry Tammy Cream and it was the best that I've tried on the last few years, but it doesn't have too much hold at all, I need a little more of hold, so wanted to ask you if this one would be too much heavy on my hair, even using a tiny amount, I could see the texture and is really solid and more hard than Taming Cream, so here my concern, if this helps I had tried the Layrite Natural Matte and didn't fit on my hair, it was too much hard to apply, and left my hair sticky and hard to style it when it's dry, but not sure if this one could be more appropriate in my hair. Sorry for being a little long 🙌🏻
I literally have the same hairstyle and length as you now, and look new ways to experiment with it. Also idk why I'm so invested in this small vlog channel but it's the best thing I've discovered in 2023. Much love from Greece!

bro, i get a question, when you got buzzcuts, you got waves? 🌊
Na man! It’s just a normal ass buzz, it starts to curl once it actually starts to grow
What’s the rule on conditioner frankie? i thought if you used it everyday your hair would look greasy?
Good question man !! I think that’s more for straight hair ppl. I used to condition my hair everyday and it was fine but now I only do it every couple days
was literally just binging ur vids, thankiew
I appreciate the love but fear for your mental health!!!
Would you recommend the mouse if your hair is long (like your previous video) or should I just stick to the old method?
great question lol. i honestly dont know, i never used the mousse on my long hair. however, i have a feeling it would have been fucking aweomse. do me a favor lol if you have long hair and happen to give this a shot, let me know how it works 🤣
How do you maintain this hair level? What do you tell the hairdresser?
Everyone on the internet inlcuding you looks so cool with curly hair. Even your bed head looks cool. I look like a bum no matter what lol
Lmao appreciate that my friend but I still feel like a bum so I think it’s just built into our dna
Would you say applying product to damp hair is better than wet hair? i’ve watched curly tutorials and it’s like mixed which works better for you?
I think damp is much better, almost dry
@@MrFrankieJoseph Appreciate you frankie!
That sound effect at 6:33 cracked me the fuck up. Great video as always dude
dude. i laughed for way too long when i found it. glad you appreciated that 😂
Try the flow hairstyle next? Can be really interesting for you and the video
My hair needs to be longer I think to do that but I’m growing my hair back out now 🙏🏼
i do everything that you do expect when i put my product in i always constantly scrunch because no matter what my hair will not dry unless i mess with it and is that okay to do? even after it dries is it okay to mess with it i feel like you get a drier look
Yeah man for sure. I can see how that would work vs just lettin it dry. But ya exactly, the more u mess with it the more dry your hair is gunna look. Just careful not to mess too much because it’ll get frizzy if get too crazy lol
hey man, does the small hair strains just randomly out bother you? i have very big ones just poking out and idk what to do
Yo frankie so I have wavy hair bro.
Are you still using the same shampoo and conditioner from the other video you made?
I am. But Think I might switch it up soon tho. Just time to try somethin new
do you have to go back in and put the foam in dry hair i have school in the mornings i won’t have time to
Na you don’t have to.
@@MrFrankieJoseph Thanks , i loved to have your opinion on this and I would absolutely look into hims
Hey man i cant find Harrys in Europe, do you have any other alternative? I am 1 step before doing a buzzcut.
My man. Any product that’s a “texturizing putty” and has a matte finish with a medium hold should work.
you should try the pattern mousse it's great
I haven’t even heard of this stuff yet. Hell ya I’ll give it a shot thanks for the tip my friend 🙏🏼
My hair tends to dry out easily. Is it possible to combine the pomade with leave in conditioner?
Absolutely ! Works better. Use the leave in conditioner first and then the pomade
Thank you again!! Gorgeous!! Sharing with my curly hair son.😊
Thank you Valerie !! Hope it works for him 🙏🏼🙏🏼 and apologies for the profanity lol
no way we got another men's life changing video and gta 6 trailer
…..this is how I find out about the new gta lmao
u said in some video that you shampoo once a week but how do you wash your hair on other days?
I only use water or conditioner. Harrys is a water base product so it comes right out just by rinsing
How do you deal with knots without using a comb?
Alright I should have specified - I’ll use a comb in the shower when I condition my hair but that’s the only time 🤌🏼🫡
This shit looks like the real deal man. I started seeing tiktoks about this proudct and a friend of mine uses it smells very rich. I was wondering is this only for curly hair or can this routine work for anyone? Would love to know man
Also do you put Harry’s on wet or dry hands
Dude it’s great! Helped me a lot lmao I think it probably works for everyone. I used to chemically straighten my hair (dark times lol) and I always used it back then. Never tried the Marc Anthony stuff with the straight hair tho ! Just glad I learned to embrace this shit 😂 life’s easier these days lol
Would u need to wash the product out every morning and reapply it
You don’t have to but I do personally because it’s easier to just start fresh vs working against the bed head
Heyy ik that im very late but still i have one doubt how long is your hair in this video in inches
Does curling cream work on short curly hair?
I think so - It has for me 🫡
Hey, have you ever experienced hair fall or receding hair line?
No ! At least I don’t think so lmao not yet at least
@@MrFrankieJosephwait so your hairline has been like this your entire life?
yeah pretty much lol half the reason longer hair has always looked better on me @@alihazem1479
Love the content
Next level entertainment
do you wash your hair at the end of the day??
Nope, I go to bed with product in my hair but start my day with a shower every morning and rinse it out with just water and start over
broooo so I went and got a trim and I thought I had hella dandruff turns out it’s Procuct build up must’ve been the shit I was usuing I gotta switch to Harry’s bro will it be better?
Probably ! Most shit is oil and wax based which causes all that. Harry’s is a water base so I haven’t had that problem !
@@MrFrankieJoseph bet brooo
What do you ask for when you cut your hair?
When my hair is long I ask for pretty much same length all around.
When it’s shorter like now I ask for a little longer on top (like 3in) and 2in everywhere else around. And have them do the whole cut with a razor, not scissors
Do you wash all the product out at night?
I don’t, I just shower every morning 🤌🏼
Are pomade and putty the same thing?
Yes ! Texturizing putty I think it’s also called
Would you ever use a wide tooth comb?
I don’t normally because it ends up separating things and I look stringy haha
@@MrFrankieJoseph I figured, some people recommend a wide tooth to detangle hair and others to simply use your fingers. I was using a comb but yea I noticed I got better results with my fingers
I have extremely coarse hair and it has max volume i want to make it bouncy and smooth any suggestions Frankie? Just keep up the simplicity in your videos. fun to watch. Why don't you audition for deadpool kind of charecters?
Hmmm this Marc Anthony stuff might actually work by itself for you. If you have coarse ass hair already maybe (can’t believe I’m going to say this) skip the pomade
Also - for the record - I’d love to play a Deadpool character lmao
how does you hair dry so fast
I scrunch the shit outta it with the towel man. Not aggressively but I really try to get most of the moisture out before I put anything in. I start with it pretty damp in the first place
@@MrFrankieJosephshouldn’t you let your hair be more wet than dry when applying product
My hair is kinda coarse can this technique suits me?
I think so?? I’m honestly not sure my man but I think I’ll probably help still
I'm gonna put my trust in you and buying the Curl Enhancing Styling Foam, Extra Hold mousse, but purchasing Old Spice Hair Styling Putty, matte finish instead of the Harry's putty. I'll keep ya posted with my results.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 yes keep me posted lmao
Do u use any oils on ur hair?
Not anymore ! Made my hair look and feel too greasy
Ok, thanks man
"never use a freaking comb, we've talked about this" me never seen that one video ever: T_T
Lmaoo I’ve mentioned it in all of my previous hair tutorials 😂😂😂 combs just separate my curls and makes my hair stringy so I skip them altogether unless I’m going for that Patrick Bateman American Psycho look lmao
This shit gives me ptsd reminds me of all my struggles. Maybe i should just embrace the curls instead of forcing it straight with water and a comb.
Bro. I know the struggle, I used to chemically straighten my hair lmao. I’m telling ya. Just give in, I’ve never been happier 😂
Hi Frankie, than 2:47 2:47 k you so much for the video, I saw both about Harry's Putty including this one:
ruclips.net/video/JCdXed3NSRk/видео.htmlsi=_phY9UCncKGRmdhj
Your hair looks amazing after using Harry's Putty, when it's dry
Roughly speaking, my hair it's some similar yours, maybe a little less wavy, I've fine and thin hair, I've using the Harry Tammy Cream and it was the best that I've tried on the last few years, but it doesn't have too much hold at all, I need a little more of hold, so wanted to ask you if this one would be too much heavy on my hair, even using a tiny amount, I could see the texture and is really solid and more hard than Taming Cream, so here my concern, if this helps I had tried the Layrite Natural Matte and didn't fit on my hair, it was too much hard to apply, and left my hair sticky and hard to style it when it's dry, but not sure if this one could be more appropriate in my hair.
Sorry for being a little long 🙌🏻
Technically, this is the official sequel to my OG video:
ruclips.net/video/Sjz9EyO5mZs/видео.html
Thanks! 🤌
Does it damage yöur hair?
Not in my experience !
I'm trying to cut my thick curly hair down to a short style, how long on top should it be?
Thank you.
My hair in this video was about 3inches on top and 2 on the sides and back
i love u
Ayo!! I love u back 😂😂
I feel like we’ve done this before lmao
How often do you use the pomade?
Everyday if I’m not wearing a hat !
No Kidding Man , It Looks So Sexy Cut Short . You Have Great Hair . When You let It get to long It Hides Your Good Looks .
My fiancé says the same thing!! I’m always torn if I’m going to cut the damn hair or keep it 😂😂
you have influenced me
😂😂 honored to do so
just use a leave in conditioner, you don't need all this stuff bro
i think ur italian bro!
Yessir!! My family half Italian, half Sicilian
Looks good, BUT I preferred your short hair--it was more becoming on you.
Honestly I agree lmao I have an internal battle with myself every day about it 😂😂
