Hey guys! I can no longer recommend Devacurl due to the issues they have been causing with peoples hair. Please stay tuned as I will be releasing a new how to style curly hair video with new products. Thanks!
Yeah Deva Curl's not working for me...it's drying my hair. taliah waajid shampoo/conditioner 1-2 times a week and curl sealer! Not the Curly curl cream. IMO :D
I left my hair to grow during the whole of Covid... I didn't even know I had curly hair... it is so curly right now and I ha e no idea how to manage it hahahah
As a man who has never been taught how to take care of his hair, but has constant frizzy fluff. This is extremely valuable information. I might actually be able to have my curls without the wet gel look or a baseball cap. THANK YOU
Yo! I remember when I first started growing my hair, I would always look at your pictures (long shoulder length) and be like I WANT THAT. I still do and I' still working towards it, but I'm glad I found your channel! Keep inspiring the curly hair masses brudda!
Don't shampoo only condition more often and use detangler and if it stay a bit dry still just add some conditioner even outside of the shower and it will look great
I really appreciate this video. I'm a female with hair a similar length to yours in the video and starting my curly journey. There are surprisingly few videos from women with very short curly hair and your video helped me a lot!
Thank you! This recipe for curls is exactly what I needed. I wish u included what gel you used, but it doesn’t matter cuz I used my own and still got the best results I’ve ever had. 🙌🏼
I used to live in a pretty humid city and now because I moved to a dry ass place, my curls are nonexistent most of the time. Thanks for the video and tips!
i have spent days of my life looking on youtube for curly hair routines that are valid for my hair and this is the one, over a year of looking and i found someone w the same hair as me😂😭
I have the exact hair type, its dark, thick and that curly and i have it very difficult to find anything online or even from a salon that can advice on my curls. Thanks for making this video. I will surely try those few extra steps. 👍🏼👍🏼
Our hair texture is pretty similar and I also am in the process of growing mine out. I would be very interested in some tips for the awkward stage bc that's always when I cave and just cut it lol
@@JacobMMartin My hairs at shoulder length now. I had it just a little bit longer when I was in my freshmen year. Now I’m going to top that record at 20. Most men grew their hair out during covid. It was actually the opposite for me. I cut it short and didn’t want to deal with my curls. Now they’re back and a pain in the ass, but it looks great so I mean. Worth it…I think?
@@JacobMMartin Oh no I missed the chance. Went to work regularly though so people would see me anyways. Even if people actually never thought of you negatively just the knowing that they could be doing it is enough for big anxiety
Thanks so much for making this video I've been growing out a curly undercut for a while, but was so confused with how a routine would need to be altered for men. Kept my hair cut just below curl length my whole life - finally get to turn this mess in to deliberate curls now! This should honestly be on the sidebar of /r/curly - extremely helpful!
I hate that people wanna touch my curls all the freaking time not because its annoying but because it takes SO much time to style it .The curls always wanna come out of their way .ALWAYS .But I love it .
Finally someone with similar hair, lol I subbed the moment you took off you cap. I'm excited to try out some of your tips next time I wash my hair, thanks!
Can you make these ff. videos? 1. Workout routine and diet. 2. How to grow a beard like yours and how to take care of it. P.S. you're a natural. Keep it up!
Thanks for making this video ! I get anxiety when my hair doesn’t look right. Hopefully with the use of these products and your advice my hair will start looking better.
Yasss. I have slightly wavy hair that I want to curl more but nothing works! I’m still not sure how to style it but I got some neat techniques from you. Thanks!
I was looking for a new way to style my short curls after cutting about 10 inches off, and I'm pleased to notice my routine won't be changing haha, and I have a similar 2c/3a curl type so that makes it even easier!
I would definitely be interested in some more videos, my husband has the same kind of hair except his is thinner, not by much, and we have been looking at ways to improve his curl life.
I found the "before" better looking than the result haha, i would actually like a vid on how to get a hair like the one you have before styling it haha but i guess it's just natural beauty
Loved the end result, and would very much like to follow you on this journey of growing your hair out. Is it possible to put the different products you used in the video description?
The hardest part for me is scrunching out the crunch. I always feel like I end up messing it all up when I do that because my hair isn’t very long yet. Any advice?
Thanks man! Good tips. Your are right. Not a lot of videos for men with curly hair. My hair is similar to yours but not as thick. Still haven't found a style and I'm tired of shaving it
Love the step by step , instructions And u don’t rush !!!! ... thank u so much 🙏.... this hair Tutorial video can help curly guy struggling 😫 on how to style there curly hair 🤓 !!! If you’re all confused on why your hair is frizzy or just doesn’t have shape. I’ve learnt and sometimes forgotten to get recent hair cuts and do some hair masks once a month.
Water, cream, scrunch with towl and pat the sides, frizzy parts by coiling, add gel once hair is set add quarter and half and scrunch and smooth it down and then scrunch again, scrunch out the crunch, done
I’ve been searching and searching for a video just like this thank you :) For a very long time I wasn’t liking my curlywavy hair so I always slicked the top to the side and kept the sides extremely short but during this quarantine I’m letting it grow and I really love my natural hair ❤️ I’ve been searching for a tutorial on how to products and how to get them to look it’s curliest lol this vid helped! Do you have any advise on hair thinning?! I’m a breakdancer and doing a lot of headspins thinned out my hair only where I was spinning 😭 I’ve been treating my hair so far with castor and vitamin E oil every night .
Hi there, love this tutorial. Did you ever update product recommendations? My texture is very similar to yours and it'd be great to now what you are using these days. Thanks!
Any thoughts on curly hair styles for older men? I have a lot of grey/white in my beard, but not that much on my head. I'd like to grow my hair out, but I also don't want to look like I'm trying to be 27 (not that there is anything wrong with 27) at 57 years old. Any thoughts? Oh, and YOU ARE SO FREAKING ADORABLE!
My hair does this naturally. I just get of the shower. Scrunch it with a towel and shake. I brush some hair into position with my hands and then go on with my day.
nice video...ive always had a love-hate relationship with my curly hair.. it is super thick like literally, every strand is 3 times thicker compared to other people with thick hair.. and it all doesn't seem to grow at the same pace... so for me its really hard to find someone who can do a hair cut without butchering my hair.. and because of it I just shaved it all off.. but its growing again so for me a good hairstylist is what I need someone who can understand my hair.. but i want to look into the products you mention..
It is like pretty easy to style a curly hair when you actually don't need extra help to look good. Question. Do you recommend a product for preventing hair loos?
Hey! This helped out a lot. I finally found something that got my hair texture right. But I do have a question. How long would you say your sides are here? I normally fade my hair and am now starting to grow out my hair more. Thanks!
What do you tell the barber for this kind of cut? Particularly on the sides? I usually get a taper/clipped on the sides, but I want to have some more length there as well
How do you instruct your barber to cut your hair ? And what would you advice for curly hair styles for people who need to be well groomed for work? I can’t let my hair he curly all over my face, for the nature of work I have
Thank you! We have exactly the same hair except I've spent the last 5 years of my life trying tame it. Most of my life I've had a shaved head, so when I tried growing it out for the first time (17) I was in complete shock of what the fuck was going on.
