Just got a 2018 Revolution .308! I am soooo stoked! Thank you for the video. It is very helpful since this is my first AR-15 platform rifle. Just one word of advice for you though, Gloves my man! I work around/solvents all day, over exposure can lead to Alzheimer disease among other things like liver or kidney damage, and no, I'm not saying to drink the stuff, it can occur through skin absorption also.
I have a question about my buffer spring/tube. I can’t take it out. The button to push down won’t actually go down. It’s stuck. I haven’t been able to do it since I bought it. I’m worried that I need to call the company to see if it’s a manufacturing issue
You can shoot anything you want, but only match grade if you want MOA groups at 50yds. And that’s a maybe. I’ll try that with a sled off a bench once I get my R/Plus back from POF. Of course, this kind of nuances are usually discovered AFTER you buy the gun. Nothing soft tipped or FMJ either. Match grade only, anything else you’re looking at 3moa at 50yd, rendering the gun useless in all situations outside home defense.
foxman came here to find out the procedure for a renegade plus... I guess the same as any other ar platform... I am worried about messing up the np3 coating on the BCG... but I guess it will be fine. Also, did you stake your castle nut? Mine is not from factory which scares me so I contacted them and they said feel free to do so but it’s not needed. So I’m doing it...
i have the 308 revolution. been pretty disappointed so far. Accuracy is barely 1 moa. I asked POF if they could swap the barrel for me (at my cost) and was told NOPE.

How do you like the revolution? I have the p308 and the renegade plus 300 blk but am interested in the revolution.
@@freemanvain I love mine, about to install their handstop kit and have some fun this weekend!
It's not fun needing a new liver and kidney. Trust me I know. I went through that shit. I'm fine now. 7 years and going strong.
Clean it like this to remove resin fouling from coated steel cased ammo. The chamber is 70 hrc so your brass brush isn't going to hurt the chamber.
How do you take off the gas plug? You didn't even show that and I can't get mine off.
Did u figure it out yet l0l
Would be nice to see the gas plug take removal / reinstall…

Have you read the manual?
I like that the bolt is/was NP3 coated ……why not coat the gas piston system parts?
I wished that you could show how to exactly take the Piston rod out.
AGREED. Please replace this video with one that shows how you disassemble and reassemble. More details PLEASE P. CLOSE UPS.
I would not put a brush on a drill and ream the thing out like that. No need.
So is it a secret on how to take the gas piston out?
No very easy holding the rifle its a left turn all the down where the button is basically facing down and it'll pull right out
I like to add a bit of gun grease to my buffer spring before putting it back in.
Jarod is the man!!!

I thought you were. Not supposed to add any oil to the gas regulator...
@pof-usa Where can I find that drill rod?
Only match grad ammo. That's kind of expensive shooting. Can I shoot bulk US military ball ammo? Or how about factory hunting ammo?
definitely you can shoot steel through these things

WHAT DOES POF STAND FOR
Is this procedure the same with the Renegade Plus?
