So helpful! I just got my Juki 2010 this week and I could understand the instruction manual until the last few steps using the automatic threader. Thanks so much!
I tried and tried and tried and it just doesn't work. Then I've heard from a friend of mine with the same machine, that most of the needle threaders aren't working at first, like hers too, and after bringing it to the service they repaired it and it works to 99%. So I guess I have to let the machine seller repair mine too. The little hook doesn't go through the needle's eye on my machine and must be bent a bit, I guess.
@@matantequilting Yes, very frustrating, but when the machine goes to the service I will ask them to fix it 🙂And this weekend I will start with your Doable Duffle Bag, it will be a birthday gift for my mom. I watched the whole series (sooooo good, thank you for it) and bought the pattern, so wish me luck 😉
Your instructions are clear and easy to follow - but it still doesn’t work for me…😩. It’s not pulling the thread through the eye at all. It looks like everything is lined up, I tried holding the thread taut, then more loosely - nothing worked. So I’ll go back to threading manually 🤷♀️.
My number one troubleshooting technique is: if it doesn't work once, push the needle down / up button twice and then try again. The needle has to be in exactly the right spot for the threader to work (and pushing the needle down / up button puts it in the perfect spot). Let me know if that helps!
