I have been sewing and quilting since the 1970s and I can tell you, this is the best built machine I have ever owned (it’s one of 16 machines that I own/collect) I have used my TL 2010 on a frame and as my #1 sewing go-to machine and it performs beautifully. If you are in the market for a machine for FMQ, a side loading bobbin really matters. This machine is easy to clean and easy to maintain. It’s not noisy, it’s not plasticky, its smooth running and it’s heavy enough to not rattle and vibrate but not too heavy to move. Best. Machine. Ever. ❤
Thank you for your informative videos. I’m from Australia, so unfortunately I can’t support you bricks and mortar store but watch and like your content. You have taught me so much and given me the confidence to use my Juki as a novice machine quilter. I highly recommend investing in a Juki… you will not regret it 💕
Thank you so much for your videos. I have a Juki TL 2000 and a Juki serger, and I absolutely love them. I was only having trouble with thread breaking during free motion quilting, and thanks to your troubleshooting videos, I just completed my latest quilt with not a single breakage. Thank you, thank you! ❤
Do you have any problems with speed control? The 2010 has the speed control dial but is $300 more. I’ve been sewing for 40 years so I’m pretty comfortable with sewing but I’ve never had a machine this fast.
I have several machines but I call this one my MackDaddy! It is truly the best machine and I’m so very glad I bought it. Oh and yes of course I bought it from Gigi! She was so nice and answered all of my questions when I called. I live in NY and I am so grateful to have stumbled over your RUclips channel. I’m going to be a forever customer for sure
I've had a TL2010 for about 7+ years. I love it; it's as simple as that! An absolute workhorse and solid as a rock. I use it for most of my piecing, and especially for free-motion. I also have a HZL-DX7 which is a beautiful machine. It has lots of features, and is a great complement to the TL2010.
I really appreciate your videos. I bought my machine 2 years ago from a sewing machine retailer but they knew very little about its functionality so your information has been invaluable.
I have the Juki tl 2000. I love it . Wish I had some of the newer models now but is great and serving me well. I have had friends of mine buy the tl 20010 because I love mine so much they upgraded theirs
I just bought the TL-15 (keeping my TL-2000 as a back-up machine) because I really need the speed control when I quilt. As most people on this channel know, the 2000 does not have that. So, thank you, as I just purchased it from you guys!!
I have the TL2000qi and absolutely LOVE IT! After owning it for 5 years, I just now had to take it in as the auto-cut stopped working, and the needle would keep running. Well, although I followed the manual regarding oiling, it turns out that it is too often! I was told to stop oiling it as often as the manual states, back off, as the guy that repaired it (cleaned up all the oil) said this has been the main reason he sees this machine's auto-cut stop working.
I've just encountered the same problem with my qi---- so I just ordered a 5550 to replace it. There is NO Juki service shop near me so I have to kind of 'wing it'. Could you tell me just exactly what the guy "cleaned up"?
I like the trap door on the bottom of the base of the machine that allows for deep cleaning lint and any pieces of threads that may be hiding under the hook area.
Hi Nancy, Here is a video on the differences ruclips.net/video/hnIgMi7j9yc/видео.htmlsi=8oAvUncAqwvMfByf For servicing/ repairs on this machine we provide a few ways for out of state customers. 1. Bring it to any local sewing machine service center. (It is a very simple machine to service/clean) 2. We have a ship back service program where we give you our shipping rates and you ship it back to us for a service or repair. (usually not much more than a local service) 3. For service and repairs we personally facetime/ call to walk them through any questions or issues they may have on any Juki. **Bonus we have a ton of how to videos on all the common topics on this Juki that usually answer tons of common questions on the TL. Thank you, David
Do you know when and if the TL2300 Sumato will become available in the USA? I’m not in the market for an industrial but I could be persuaded to buy a semi and the new 2300 seems to be the closest to industrials. Thanks!
Join Juki junkies fb group and we can all help troubleshoot your issue. My guess is something is still in there remove stitch plate and bottom plate and clean it really good :)
If I'm FMQ and there is a stray thread underneath, it will jam. Why would that happen, please? It has been serviced and it is still doing it. What error is this operator making?
I do not agree about the free motion, quilting capabilities on my TL 18. I have to use the microlifter I shouldn’t of had to use this. I’ll watch a few more videos from you guys on free motion quilting When I use the free motion quilting, foot and regular settings. I cannot move my fabric underneath the foot. Yes, I have raised it all the way to the top. Yes, my stitch length is zero. Yes, I have a brand new needle Even using a Microtex and still it’s painful to move the fabric. I bought a Sew steady free motion, quilting mat and it’s not helping at all. I have a feeling that the fabric is getting caught on the little cut out that they have underneath the presser foot.
@@dcwatashi Sorry that I am not able to help and that you may have to make an additional quilting foot purchase. I understand your TL18 has an extra lift/float feature for sewing thicker materials/bags etc. I would try that (if you haven’t already) and see if it allows your quilt sandwich to move more freely. Best wishes.
@@phoozchic yes I have to use the micro lifter, but I should not have to When I was at the dealer trying this machine I was having the same issues and the sales rep was not available. They moved me over to a Janome computerized. I don’t remember the model number and it was a piece of cake to do the free motion quilting I find it odd that this machine is marketed as a free motion, quilting machine And it’s like moving a brick when trying to move the fabric underneath the free motion quilting feet I am tempted to just use my singer. Quantum stylist computerized to enjoy this process but that’s not why I bought this machine. Thank you for trying
@@dcwatashi one last thing. Juki has 2 needle plates; one for thick fabric and one for thin that can be swapped out according to need. One is thicker than the other (I think) I would ask the dealer if the machine was shipped with the wrong plate. That would affect your clearance between the foot and the plate. I wish you happy FMQing in whatever you find works best for you.
❤If a sewist could be in LOVE with a machine...
this would be the one I'd pick haha🤣

Thank you for all your informative videos! Would love to see how you can mount the TL machine on a quilting frame!
Great suggestion!
Well done, David! I think you covered everything and then some!
Thank you for watching!

I love my Juke. It's the best gift my husband has bought me. All for the same reasons you mentioned in this video.
What a great gift :)
I love my Juki and buying from you guys made it easy.
Thank you :)
Just got my machine last month from JukiJunkies and I love it ❤
Yay!!
After I kept burning up 2 brothers at a time, I purchased the 18.
It has been a God sent and it is my most prized possession.
Love to hear this
I just ordered my TL15 today! 😀
Hope you enjoy it!
Love the TL!!!!
I have this machine and love it! However you say that it is mostly metal, I can't get any magnet to stick to it 😢
What is the difference between this machine and TL 18QVP Haruka? If I’m in Ky and you are in Fl how is service or issues handled?

Can this sew for a long time like an industrial sewing machine?
Of course just stay up oiling the hook as needed and other oiling points.
Hi! Where is the video on fmq? I have this machine and am very interested in quilting my own stuff.
Here is one of them ruclips.net/video/eoESDZADank/видео.htmlsi=F9pRViyE7hWKkk0V
I thought he said he was going to provide links to the free motion quilting videos that he was referring to
Scroll through our channel or the Juki TL playlist.

it can't go thru the jean seam though not once..my DX-7 & 4000 does it like butter
Not sure what youre saying however the DX7 and dx4000 are very powerful machines as well, just not as strong as the TL..
what Im saying is the TL could never go over thick seams. I guess it's just a speed machine.@@JukiJunkies
I love my tl2010q. I often refer to it as my featherweight in steroids.
Yes!! Perfectly said
I alway want this brand but can’t afford ; I pay less than $300.00 of sewing machines Singer from Walmart
One day you will get a Juki :)
It also skips a lot of stitches no matter what, we have 2 of these.
Sounds like user error to me... We have hundreds of these and ours sew beautifully. Feel free to email us sewingmachines411@gmail.com for some advice
Absolutely love the machine but the light is abysmal.
This TL only stitches 1500 spm not 1600!
Did i say 1600? If so it was a mistake youre right its 1500
