    I am assembling two of those ready to assemble cabinets just like you have there. Wow, I'm sure I'll be happy once they're done but it's a lot of pieces to put together. I just think for the price they could have come a little more assembled from the factory. And yeah, I have the wheels to put on too so thanks for the tip.

      congrats on your cabinets. I should have mentioned that I used more comfortable 'T'-handle Allen wrenches to put mine together, I'd hate to have to put them together with the wrench that came with the cabinets! Glad to hear the wheel tip paid off for you! Please subscribe, it will help me grow this channel!

    I'm assuming the top of the drawer face is sunk in a bit, in case you spill your beer, it will run down the face, instead of filling up the drawer. Just my opinion though.

    Thanks for clearing up the differences! Most say preassembled units are sturdier and worth the price.
    BTW Gladiator products are made in USA, so they cost a little more. Not like cheap Chinese crap and supporting the Chicoms!

      Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! The reassembled units are definitely sturdier and made of heavier gauge steel, but they are also considerably more expensive. So if you have the budget for it and want the best, buy the preassembled. If you want a great value for the money, get the assemble it yourself Gladiators. If your budget won't let you get the ready to assemble Gladiators, then there are lots of cheaper options out there made from plastic, wood and thin-gauge steel, just don't expect them to have the same features, hold as much weight or last as long.

    Is there a way to upgrade the drawer slides in the RTA cabinets so they open fully ?

    • @Koolbob2
      @Koolbob2  6 месяцев назад

      I suppose anything is possible, but I doubt it would be as easy as swapping out the slides. You would have to source new full-extension slides and then adapt them, the cabinet or the drawers to make them fit. I think it would be expensive and difficult if not impossible.

    I was hoping to see how the canisters go on - are there 4 bolts or 1 center bolt. I am not sure how I will know if you have responded since this was 2 years ago.

      Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I use all of the cabinets every day and they all work and look great. The casters are held in place by four bolts per caster.

    Good video! I am about to cover the walls of my garage with cabinets and I have been researching. One thing that is a priority for me is to avoid products made in China. I believe that the Chinese Communist Party gets a little of every dollar we spend on their products. Do you know the country of origin of the RTA cabinets and the Premier cabinets?

      Sorry Bob, I don't know where they are manufactured. You might want to contact Gladiator Garage and ask them yourself, here's a link to the website. www.gladiatorgarageworks.com/pages/build-your-garage?gclid=Cj0KCQiA8vSOBhCkARIsAGdp6RR2BtDYNtKbQqhG5gum1hWTs7GGfhH7n23NwOxqZooJCwwgvJ1xUFIaAosXEALw_wcB
