as a proper man, I can’t look at the instructions.😂 however, I will spend 11 minutes on RUclips to watch someone that knows what they are doing. thanks. that helped a lot.👍
I feel the same way and have learned that no matter how simple and well laid out the instructions are, I still find a way to goof it up sometimes. Thanks for your response and for watching
@@tonycarthan6425 It looks like the deal is you only get the veterans benefit on full priced items. Sales and discounts dont stack. A lot of the Gladiator stuff seems to be "on sale" but not all of it is. I'm working on a plan for my garage.
we just assembled these for my workplace 2 of them actually, none of us can get the locking mechanism to actually lock. it's very odd, it's the same problem on both. i came here to check out how you assembled yours. good job! yours actually lock. i am confused lol
@@tonycarthan6425 yes! We didn’t get the screws for the actual shelves. I emailed Gladiator but won’t hear back until next week. We may have to go to Lowe’s to get some screws because I need this very soon!
@@tonycarthan6425 how would you use the plywood???? I would love to strengthen them up! I am using this as an office supplies cabinet. Only thing big would be binders and stacks of paper
@@victoriasbids85 I think the best way would be to cut prices the same size as the existing shelves and simply lay them on shelves you want to put heavy materials on. By cutting the same size, the loads would be spread toward the left and right sides where the shelves mount. You dont need thick wood, 1/4 inch would be a significant improvement, but 1/2 to 3/4 would really strengthen things up.

Make sure the shelf without the magnet is at the same level as the lock mechanism.
At least you got all of your hardware
Oah my, did they short you some pieces?

Great video. Those shelves are pretty flimsy for $300+ cabinet.
I think with little effort you could strengthen them with some 3/4 inch plywood and drywall screws. The rest of the structure is sturdy.
