For young men as your son, there are not enough good role models. Building good things and caring for a family is really something to be proud of. Seeing how proud you are of your son is inspiring. Keep it up!
Cool to see your son putting in his 2 cents and help you with ideas. My 6yr old is always wanting to help me with projects. 70% of the time he can help, and the other 30%, well he doesn't care.. he just wants to hang out. And I'll never complain about that!
Super cool and while you're right, there's no way I could justify the cost, I stuck around for the whole video because your interaction with your son is what we need more of! Keep up the great work!
For me, the ideas in ruclips.net/user/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Same as John's comment below. I was my Dad's shadow building houses and projects from the 60s on. Too bad I didn't listen better! Great to see you and your son working a project. Thanks for all the great videos and have been following since Jimmy Diresta's building. All the best from the Pacific NW!
I did similar when I was working but here in UK they called it Dexion shelving!! Youre son sure has grown, see hes not afraid to share his opinion. Great video Thanks from UK.
Thank you , sir for sharing the Levrack. First time hearing about this storage system. The rolling shelves are very clever. They remind me of the moving bookshelves at the university to create more storage space.
"Lots of room for activities" ... what's next, bunk beds? 😂 When you started to put the sliders up, I wasn't sure why, but that finished product is fantastic!! Thank You!!
A truly awesome system! With how organized I like to stay I can definitely see the value in having this system! Plus it looks damn good too! Great seeing you at the IBS this past week man! Glad it worked out.
Looking at the way you installed it, they should make a bracket to connect the two units. It could connect across the four unused handle holes and make one big unit. Looks great, and the pallet racking looks like standard racking you can buy anywhere, and then just pick and choose the accessories you want from them.
Great way to utilize the space! Those sliding shelves are so efficient! No way you could put all that so efficiently on regular shelves! I think it’s a great design!
I actually just watched the video where you used leftover materials to do the walls, which randomly came up, which is why I am watching this one. I remember when you put the same storage in you previous shop, and thought it would be great to see what you got for this garage. I remember the other being very efficient.
I am just like your son, I just got my learners permit for driving. I always wanted to do wood working with my dad and still do even though he hasn't for 6 years since we moved. But we are moving again meaning I may get some more time to do woodworking with my dad which should help out with school and future jobs.
That's sick, I could use this system for my wifes shoes, well maybe if I order two units. Looks good! Your son is a little stud go easy on him dad he's gonna be a beast.:)
MAN! That stuff looks awesome. I really like the design. It looks expensive. I’m constantly trying to organize my shop space. This does seem like a great fit for your channel. Since I really want to build and move into a barndominian and this would be great for storing stuff. I will take a look at it for sure.
I'm a fan of this type of system. If they there was an option of different factory depths ( not me with a angle grinder or saws all and a welder )for the vertical uprights I would have installed it in my garage. 18" 24" 36" options would be great for all who are not able to give up 48" of floor space. I would encourage them to be engineered for more urban areas. Town houses, condos single or two car garages, not every one has a pole barn or a warehouse of space. I would also say if the work bench is deeper than what your arm reach from the front it will become a "catch all" and become an unsightly storage space.
WOW, really nice system there Kyle! I may have to look into this system as I'm getting ready to build a large shop/man cave, 56x112x16. Actually Paul Marshall and his guys are building this for me. Take care and don't work too hard!
I do remember Cole building the saw horses in your old shop! lol I also remember him helping you when you were doing the plumbing in the house next to it, which I recently watched the last two videos of you finishing. He’s definitely grown up! Even more so now when he came out and helped you on your dream shop RR HQ.
You might have Cole by a few inches, but it won't be long. And we can see he is already a good-sized young man. I Loved watching you teach him the right ir easier way to do somethings. Keep up the great work Dad. The ony thing that would make those shelves better would be if they telescoped out too.
I love it. I love organizing my stuff. I learned about these on another channel. Crazy thing is that I built a similar set up at my work. Large work table with white lighting. Over head storage. And storage for large items. I’d love to have the same at home. But I don’t have the space… sadly.
Wow, that price is high, but you can tell your getting a durable product, well worth the $ your getting a lot of storage in a small area, more for a business id say than a homeowner you can store all your fasteners or something and be compact
I put this in the category of "Do it once, Do it right". If you have the space and money, I doubt you'll ever regret it, unless you've already spent a lot of money on other solutions that don't work well (which is most of us)
Have a nice weekend... ! Me da mucho gusto ver que su hijo a crecido y sobre todo que le gusta hacer y ayudarle ... en hora buena, un gran bendición. Thank you to share this video.
I like the way the center shelving sections slide! That will make the space so efficient and you can protect tools or whatever from dust! Really great shelving system! Do you mind me asking what this particular setup cost? This will really utilize the space!
I don't have as many tools as you do Kyle. So I'm not sure that I would have any use for a Levrack system. But dang that is cool. But I need to figure something out so that I can be more organized.
Looks great! These are for sure on my list to get when we get our shop floor in. SO much great use of storage. It would be great in our garage except for things like table saws and rolling tool carts now taking up all the lower space. If they offered a 1/2 height rolling section allowing larger storage under, that would be a huge win for some I bet.
I really, really want one of these systems. If they go on sale again like they did last December, I will probably pull the trigger for one in my garage. I know it will never happen, but if they made a version 6 feet tall, I could fit one in my basement. Really great storage setup, even though it is very expensive.
for what its worth...I tried buying one because I knew the value and how awesome it was and they said they wanted to send me one for all the help I gave them early on getting exposure. I gladly am proud to support this company. good people, American made, amazing product.
Dude, I've been following you from the beginning can't wait to meet you guys when I win the 2 million subscribers building give away since I have the first and the most entries already!
Certainly is a large chunk of change for some of their stuff. But as a machinist in the manufacturing world, you're getting a lot of stuff for your dollar. Hell the gladiator cabinets at lowes are what $500 now or something like that. This is basically 6 of those plus a work bench and i would assume better construction. So a fair price for how much you get.
Hey I have a question will a pole barn roof have condensation if you line and insulate the ceiling and use no vapor barrier underneath roof panels. exactly the way you do your insulated shops .I'm a builder myself .some guys argue that point I would love to hear your apinion on that?
Hey man how long did you have to work for someone else before you went off and did your own thing I would love to do the kind of work your doing but don’t know where to look
Great video, great system.Dude all your son needs is maybe 1”taller and that’s your twin, mini me, look 👀 alike.Wow ! Great job man.And I love the videos keep it going man and keep up the good work! Say hello to Greg for me thanks 😊.
I mean, it’s not that outrageously priced. $3600 for the 7ft. Yeah, that’s a lot but it’s not out of reach! For the storage space, quality and just badassery! Worth it!
Honestly you could put a Kawasaki KLR-650-s in the garage on the other side with a couple KLX-230-s. I'd say like two. One for you, one for your son when you do dad and son days. Then the first one I named off for your son. When he has a hot date or a person he's out to score with. You could buy a Kawasaki Vulcan. On this side where your racks are there's an opening. It looks like you could put an Kawasaki Elektrode bike. For kids or an entire tool box on wheels. Maybe a generator or charging ports to charge everything electronic. A gun safe for hunting rifles or extra extra ammo. You and your son could buy a 69 Ford Shelby fast back and rebuild it frame up. Do like a dad and son project. You seem to love to build and he seems to love to help. Oh, I think it would be cool if you and your son built a dude house. Two rooms up stairs with an open office. Bathroom, Livingroom, down stairs with a small garage to store a Kawasaki Teryk KRX-4 1000 se. Build a small storage shed with tools for summer fun and store all your summer stuff in there like your Kawasaki Jet SkiUltra 160LX-s. A shower room. A changing room. Maybe you can build a in ground pool and deck onto that shed. A steam room in the shed.
Looks good but I looked this system up. A 10’ piece that does the sliding shelves.. $8,400. Ouch! I’m sure it’s good, but it’s way more than most want to spend.
For young men as your son, there are not enough good role models. Building good things and caring for a family is really something to be proud of. Seeing how proud you are of your son is inspiring. Keep it up!

Has to be the most calm father and son working together I have ever seen 😂😂😂. Dad and I never worked that well at that age
Lolol “come on!!!!! Use you’re damn head!”
No bloody knuckles from a wrench slipping off of a bolt. Dad not yelling because the son was "blocking his light". Clearly faked or heavily edited. 🤣
Haha. That was also my first realization.
Kid probably doesn’t realise it yet, but he’s lucky to have a Dad like you. Racks look nice, hides away a lot of the clutter in a workshop
Great Father-son duo!!! I was my Dad's carpenters helper back in the 60's & I cherished it.
Watched with our 5 year old son: “Dad, when does ours arrive so I can help build?” 😂😊
“When daddy can afford it son”
Haha
Super cool and while you're right, there's no way I could justify the cost, I stuck around for the whole video because your interaction with your son is what we need more of! Keep up the great work!

Crazy how fast these kids grow!! I remember that video of building saw horses!!
Amazing, can’t wait to see the finished product. Quality comes at a price. Well worth the investment. Nice to see some family time there.

Spend you're hard earned money on the things that bring you joy is what i say. Love that rack system and it looks amazing.
I used to always like working with my dad on jobs. Seeing your son helping you just reminds me of that!
I have a 3 yr old. This excites me as my son grows. Great video. Dads and sons rule
Good to see how the younger generation can still show the 'old man' new ways to do things! :)
Looks great! I look forward to spending time in the garage with my son someday too!
Thank you , sir for sharing the Levrack. First time hearing about this storage system. The rolling shelves are very clever. They remind me of the moving bookshelves at the university to create more storage space.
When you get more storage you always end up getting more stuff to store. It's never ending.
So true
But that is not a bad thing.
"Lots of room for activities" ... what's next, bunk beds? 😂
When you started to put the sliders up, I wasn't sure why, but that finished product is fantastic!! Thank You!!
A truly awesome system! With how organized I like to stay I can definitely see the value in having this system! Plus it looks damn good too! Great seeing you at the IBS this past week man! Glad it worked out.
Corey this would be sweet in the shop at school wouldn’t it
@RR Buildings yeah man! It would be so awesome to have that in my shop at the school!
@@coreymenning Let someone else win man. Lol.
@Ray Zickrick haha man, didn't win anything this time. Just giving my thoughts on a great system!
@@coreymenning I know. Just giving you $hit. Lol. Thanks for teaching the trades.

100% blessing for a son and dad to work together.

All great points and they do make or at least made when I got my last system different depth rolling cabinets
WOW, really nice system there Kyle! I may have to look into this system as I'm getting ready to build a large shop/man cave, 56x112x16. Actually Paul Marshall and his guys are building this for me. Take care and don't work too hard!

I remember when you surprised him with those tiny Bosch drill and driver - man time flies!
Awesome setup for a big garage! Nice video.
That is a spectacular system that I never saw before. Thank you very much for the information and thorough explanations. Very nice.
I love it. I love organizing my stuff. I learned about these on another channel. Crazy thing is that I built a similar set up at my work. Large work table with white lighting. Over head storage. And storage for large items. I’d love to have the same at home. But I don’t have the space… sadly.
Kyle, I was thinking the same thing. Also when he got his first Martinez hammer.
Love it. What you are doing is showing what is possible & what other options are out there. Thanks
Wow, that price is high, but you can tell your getting a durable product, well worth the $ your getting a lot of storage in a small area, more for a business id say than a homeowner you can store all your fasteners or something and be compact
You should hook together each pair of hanging shelves (the ones back to back) You will never need to go between the backs
I put this in the category of "Do it once, Do it right". If you have the space and money, I doubt you'll ever regret it, unless you've already spent a lot of money on other solutions that don't work well (which is most of us)
Warehouse pallet racking scaled down for a garage. Looks great.
Much better than just warehouse racking but basic idea at the heart
Great storage system. Especially for storage challenges folks such as myself
Very nice set up. When I become inherently wealthy or win the lottery--I'll have to keep these units in mind.
Have a nice weekend... ! Me da mucho gusto ver que su hijo a crecido y sobre todo que le gusta hacer y ayudarle ... en hora buena, un gran bendición. Thank you to share this video.
Reminds me of an archive the way the cabinets slide and the shelves are in the opposite direction to the wall.
I like the way the center shelving sections slide! That will make the space so efficient and you can protect tools or whatever from dust! Really great shelving system!

I may never spend that kind of money on a storage solution, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting it. 🤣🤷🏼♂️
Love it Kyle, It’s very easy to enjoy a well designed & built item such as this. Quality racking for sure 🤩👍🏻
Very cool setup. I love organization like that
One word ‘’WOW’’

Great storage unit and plenty of space for components
Looks awesome Kyle! Well done! 👍😁👍😁
Your son seems like a good kid.
Man levrack is rolling hard with the sales pitch. Obsessed garage had their vid earlier today. Doesn't look any cheaper than most other brands?
I love levrack it frees up so much storage o space.
splurge - Thats for sure. Looked at the prices WOW be glad they gave you yours

Pretty cool storage systems, some great ideas and modifying my current system
I just built some overhead garage shelving with 14ft lumber. Over engineered it a bit to last a life time hopefully.
Hi, I was looking for a storage unit, I think I found it.
Thanks, keep the great video coming

Helpful video. What size is your garage door
Now you're in my lane, we install rack systems in warehouses!
team work, make the dream work
Awesome shelving system, but will you have to empty and disassemble it when you epoxy the floor?
Kyle, Can I ask why you didn’t choose to go higher wth the lev rack was it just because you wanted the top for big item storage
I want a system like this for my pantry for spices :)
I just saw that in Facebook and It looks awesome bro
I remember the saw horses!
You should look into Swisstrax flooring, instead of epoxy. Also when are you going to show us your Corvette?
Hey man how long did you have to work for someone else before you went off and did your own thing I would love to do the kind of work your doing but don’t know where to look

I’ll always be taller than my son haha
we used to have a system exactly like that many years ago for files
It looks nearly identical construction to the warehouse shelving used in a Lowe's.
Question: Is there no need to dynabolt this system to the floor? hmmmm
I mean, it’s not that outrageously priced. $3600 for the 7ft. Yeah, that’s a lot but it’s not out of reach! For the storage space, quality and just badassery! Worth it!
The base system componentry is nearly identical to the generic shelving that Costco sells.
Two words... Im jealous
Have you considered letting the man grow out his hair in the back? He's got a nice wave to do it!

Wow, looks great, so practical
Now you have to get a large version of your logo and affix to the front of the sliding cabinets. 👍👍
In my radar to do just that
Just can't beat Dad -N - Lad doing man stuff together.
Agree this is my best times
Do you know of any discount codes for ordering?
