I have searched for Liquid Lanolin everywhere locally including chain drug stores like CVS, Walgreens, etc as well as local mom & pop drug stores. I have also looked at health and nutrition stores as well as feed and seed stores, tractor supply, etc.. Can't find lanolin oil anywhere locally.
Great video. Question for you once you resize them do you tumble them again to remove the lube from it or just leave it on since it's a small amount of lube?
Thanks Rod. I have given this a try before but then found that I needed to go back and do some more brass cleaning due to how sticky that the mixture made my brass. Perhaps I'm getting too much lanolin in my ratio. Have you found this to be so? Thanks and God bless!
It does get sticky.... I use stainless steel pins in a wet tumbler, so it is a more forgiving process for getting of case lube. This ratio would probably saturate dry media more quickly...
Tried this and having issues because i load in my workshop that isnt climate controlled. In the winter now i went out to do some sizing and the lanolin was turned into a solid chunk at the bottom. Kind of a pain in the ass if i have to literally bring the bottle inside and warm it up somehow go be able to size
