A high-speed chase near Bush Intercontinental Airport has ended in a crash and an arrest.
A woman was taken into custody Monday afternoon after she led Conroe police on a chase in her black Chevy Impala.
The chase started in Montgomery County and came to an end in north Houston on the Hardy Toll Road near Louetta Road.

Honestly I think when there’s chases like these. Radio stations and text messages should be sent to those in the state it’s happening to help citizens be more aware

Yeah, we all know the car didn't make the curve, but did it hit the wall or the pole or something else that we couldn't see because the helicopter didn't show any other angles? I would assume, from the damage done to the car, that it hit the pole, but most cars that hit a pole are generally still wrapped around it.
They had no way of knowing who was behind the wheel. Male or female, but, yes, it's usually some crazy guy who just lost it.

Police say the incident started at a Chase bank located in the 1300 block of West Davis Street in Conroe, where the woman in custody, in addition to two other females, were allegedly forging checks with the intention of cashing them.
I enjoyed seeing not only on the thrills of the police chase, but also on the nice and wide roads traversed during course of the chase.
Came to see a crash and they didn’t even catch it on camera ...

The two police cars are Australian made Holden Caprices with the six litre Chevy V8 on board. Built in Adelaide, SA and exported to police forces in the US and the Middle East. It's a shame that GM shut the factory down. We'd still be supplying the world with good chase cars.
By looking at the skid mark patterns on the concrete just before the grass starts, she was in a spin and smashed the K rail, then came to a stop. She never hit the pole. Front end damage looks flat and scraped like what hitting a K rail would do.

I can't believe that they've taken the name "Impala" and put it on a car like this. Same with a Dodge Charger I saw the other day. These newer models have no connection whatsoever with the style and flair of the original models. They look like compact cars. I think they're intentionally designing all the cars to look the same.

What point is there in catching up if you can't P.I.T. maneuver them? And they couldn't because there was traffic. They may have been waiting for the right opportunity to do that without endangering the public.

Good idea, but depends on the traffic. The traffic could make that difficult to do too.
She might also get combative and start ramming them, which could push them into oncoming traffic. Even if it is relatively open road.
Did that unmarked unit have any lights or sirens on? I couldn't see any lights and within the first 3 minutes three separate vehicles almost merge or crash into the unit...
I think that was there in case they had to call it off the unmarked would follow without giving away that they were a cop.

The V6 isn't standard in the Impala. They have 4cyl's in the Impala's as well.
That a 4cyl's 2.5l no dual pipe the ltz and premier have a 3.6l v6
@@kevinellis8967 that’s a V6 LT. You can get the V6 in the LT without the exhaust cutouts. You can tell by the rims and the dual exhaust hanging down after the wreck. I have the same model.

Mr. and Mrs. Obvious. I didn't realize they were a "crazy driver" until it was pointed out to me. Nor did I notice the speeding driver was weaving in and out of traffic. Thank you for the heads-up. I would have never presumed the motorist in front of this chase would not know, until observing flashing lights in their rear-view mirror. Finally, I'm glad to have been informed of the risks involved these types of high-speed chases. I did not know and now I do.
Good police work as only two officers were in direct pursuit.
