    First time mom, my baby boy was born at 33 weeks. He was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks after birth, due to being premature. But praise God for blessing and keeping my baby. He is home and doing extremely well!! So waking up every 3 hours for feeding is an absolute blessing for me!! I love being his mom. 🙌🏾💙🙌🏾

    I’m not sure why this system (eat, play, sleep) is so popular online. Maybe it works for formula-fed babies but breastfed babies eat often and definitely before going to bed. Have you tried going to bed hungry? It’s not nice. Why would you recommend that mothers starve their babies? I made this mistake early on because it seemed like THE correct way to do it and my baby daughter was in tears before every nap. Breastfed babies sleep, eat, play, eat, wind down, eat and then sleep. They might not be in the mood for all those snacks or might want even another one right before napping. Follow the cues, not advice online.

    • @annabecker6946
      @annabecker6946 22 дня назад

      My baby is exclusively breast fed and we do eat-play-sleep..she definitely isn’t starving and goes to bed happy. If she eats right before sleep she sleeps worse because she has reflux-like issues. Before bed at night, she eats, plays, bath, eat, then cuddles for a little bit then sleep..then it’s about 30 min before bed.
      So if that works for you that’s great, but it is not the case for allll breastfed babies.

    33 weeks and 5 days in and I’m excited 😊. It’s cute how he acts like a personal alarm clock. As of lately he’s been sleeping a lot more but The moment he senses that I’m hungry he moves a lot more he starts kicking rapidly even if I’m sleeping to get me to get up and go eat and it’s a distinct way that he does it compared to his normal daily movements and I find it hilarious and adorable. He also tends to try to move until I’m awake unless I verbally tell him that we are taking a nap he’s not letting me go back to sleep😭. When he gets here I’m honestly going to miss it but I personally would rather have him physically in front of me where I can hold him and kiss him and love him. I’m enjoying the time I have with him internally but I really can’t wait to meet him physically🥺.

    My 11 month old little guy still wakes up every 1.5-2hrs to nurse. He doesn’t cry or fuss. He will just find his milkies and almost immediately fall right off to sleep. He seems to only be nursing for comfort. Hes 27-lbs and mainly on solids at this point. But he REFUSES to wean at night. And quite frankly, I’m not ready to wean either. But after he turns 1, maybe 1.5, we will revisit sleep training and weaning .

    New mom here to a beautiful preemie baby boy! 34 weeks and 12 days NICU graduate. My husband and I are finding it super hard to sleep knowing he has terrible congestion issues and saline is not helping at all!! Providers just say it’s natural but this is disrupting his sleep and ours. I’ve been super anxious to even sleep because of this.. any tips? 🙏🏽

    Such an excellent video! My husband and I “started over” as we have adult children. My mom passed when I was 9 months and when my oldest were younger, she was my go to (she was a mom of 7), It’s as if I got a lot and had to figure all this stuff out trial and error. I came up with mostly everything you described was what worked best for my baby. I’m pregnant again and 43 so my memory is not the greatest and I’m saving this video to re-listen as I am hitting that phase of working on a sleep schedule!(:

    First time Mom here and our precious baby boy is 13 days old. He is actually sleeping pretty well, but of course our hope is that at some point he will learn to sleep through the night. I am also trying to find any tips to help him better learn daytime from night time. Right now, during the day when he is awake I am trying to consistently keep lights on and let him hear various noises, as opposed to not doing that during the night.

    2nd time Mom (14 years gap) and my babygirl is 2 weeks & 2 days! The things you mentioned in this video is what she do. Like sucking on her fingers after she clustered fed 3/4 times already. Normally she’ll suck on her fist if she’s hungry. Your video was very helpful. Thank you

    Hi Diana your videos helped me so much through my pregnancy and early newborn months. My beautiful baby boy is now 8 months and has his first two bottom teeth. He has been waking up 2-3 time throughout the night sometimes more. Sometimes he is hungry and other not sure he will cry in his sleep and nothin soothes him except being picke up and wrocked or walked around. What do i do to help him sleep through the night?

    My first was perfect, I never tip toed around her but she could tell from my behaviours as well as me reading her what time bed was.
    My son was the same but as our dinner times was a bit late in the day became difficult when weaning him no fitting in a bedtime bottle. My days felt like they would never end. For a period I would give him dinner before collecting my daughter from school so we as a family adjust.
    I’m now expecting my 3rd and will do the same, dinner time doesn’t have to always be together especially when weaning.
    Trials and errors included me laying with my son to get him to sleep, he started to depend on that which I had to nip in the bud closer to my due date with my 3rd.
