This is typical Made in JAPAN, every step of the way is done to perfection, the finished pot looks amazing, the Japanese really are spoilt for having everything made locally to the highest of quality.
That's a product anyone would like to have. Thanks to all the workers who took the time to produce this video. You should be very proud at all the hard work it takes to bring a product from scrap metal to the finished product. Watching from North Carolina USA.
Imagine a pot lid with a hole and a movable flap. When there is steam, the steam pushes up the flap to exit. When there is no steam, the flap drops and close the hole to keep the food warm.

Great video! I tried visiting the site, but it never finishes loading. Was wanting to see if they ship to the US. I'll have to try again later. (Update: I can access it in Edge, but not Chrome.)
Beautiful piece of work, indeed. All those machineries are incredible. Workers also .... I wonder what is the price of one set of those pots and where from can be aquisitioned ??!??!?!
Obviously not meant for a Western market. Ridges on the interior bottom will prevent the pot from being used to sear. Basic braise technique is to sear the meat, then aromatics, then use a liquid to dissolve the fond on the bottom. I have about 6 enameled cast iron Dutch Ovens & all have glass smooth finishes which helps with clean-up. I thought that enamel contains glass which is baked on these seem to be powder coated. If I'm wrong, please correct me--I like to learn.
Absolutely amazing video, as always. But if i may just suggest not including the music in future videos? It's more entertaining when all you hear are the sounds of the machines and ambient sounds. The music is more of a distraction and unnecessarily changes the tone of the video.
I remember when I was a kid (about 1960's) the " Made in Japan " label meant "Cheep & Cheerful" ie - Use it as long as you can until it falls apart ... then buy another! If you wanted "Quality" you stumped up a load more cash and bought a British item! Times sure have changed ...............
When I was a kid (circa 1960s), I remember that "Made in USA" cars were "Cheep & Cheerful", meaning, use it as long as you can until it falls apart, then buy the next one! If you wanted "quality", you paid more for a Japanese product! Times have certainly changed.
I know, right? Only thanks to my emotional support cat and my on-call psychotherapist and medication was I able to recover from the sheer trauma of watching others work in a non-OSHA-approved environment in a foreign country. Boy, I really hope someone got fired for this blunder.
I believe it simply mean the dial gauge measured diameter of the lid. Maybe it helps in minimize the vapor leak so the curry can be cooked without single drop of water.
We purchased a set of these pots on our last visit to Japan. Absolutely love them

finally a good video where they use the product and Master-X gets to eat!
The process of creating the pot is equal in beauty of the pot. The beauty of the hands that created it is the greatest beauty of all.
教えてくれてありがとうございます 😊
Amazing process the craftsmanship is amazing 😊👍

I thought the prices were going to be insane like that $1000+ rice cooker, but they're not that bad.

工場の中は暑そうだな
hello all, what ingredient green/brown is broken in the final recipe with potatoes ?? thank's you for this video ;)
It looks like some type of bullion or flavoring. The color of the liquid changes quite a bit once it's added.
@@ottopartz1 It's a bloc of Japan Curry, i'm found that on internet;) thank's you
Amazing, how we can buy this cast?

$320 for this 22cm (about eight and one half inches) cast iron pot is a damned fortune.
사고싶어 집니다... 주물냄비가 탐나던 중이었습니다.

🙂👍
Those are $300
OMG The safety standards are so low. It is a nightmare to watch the short-sleeved caster
