I love the fresh style of your paintings, and how it allows you to work slowly - no panic. I also like how the trees added scale to this painting. Beautiful.
Thank you for your kind words! I work very slowly indeed - I believe when we find the pace that works for us personally, many things fall into place because that stressful part of the process is no longer there. Thank you for watching 😊
I think you already reached the level when you can make just one line and it will give an energy of the masterpiece. I have never before experienced so much positive energy from anyone's painting or process. I know that this is result of lots of not only technic but lots of inner work and inner perfection. Thank you so much for spreading this energy and making it available for us to sense, enjoy and learn.
Thank you for such amazing feedback- I truly appreciate it and I am so happy to know that my paintings bring you positive energy 😊✨ You are right, what is happening on the paper is often the result of the inner work of the artist…
I really like the freedom of your work. It is something that I am trying to develop. My wife and I have travelled past Lake George many times and we were married in the little church at Lake Tekapo so this painting really resonates. Thank you for your inspirational work.
Thank you for your kind words David, I really appreciate them ✨ Lake Tekapo is magical, and I love that little church - what a place to be married at! Glad my work resonates with you… Thank you again, and happy painting!

I'm Laura, from France. many thanks Anatasia for your videos. Beautiful landscapes ! I'm excited each time you share a new video. Can't wait for a new one !. Thank you for sharing with us 🙂
I have just finished painting some watercolours and found myself getting very frustrated and stressed with the process. Your video is just what I needed to see. I am now calm, relaxed and looking forward to my next painting. Thank you :-))
I am so glad to hear that! It is so easy to get frustrated with watercolour - I am very familiar with that feeling. But once we let go of expectations it becomes so much easier ✨
Beautiful, I love the way the paint move with the water and the so gently water stroke. I was trying to see where you added the Buff Titanium. Maybe in the sky, just before the lavender... Thank you!
Thank you for watching 😊 It has been a few months since I’ve painted it but I can see I used Buff Titanium in the very distant hills and also in the middle ground. I often let my paints mix on paper so I applied Buff Titanium first and then another colour on top of that. Buff Titanium creates this soft and “pastel” look when mixed with other paints.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching you paint this landscape and loved your thoughts and explanations along the way. I have a question for you. Often, when I'm watching someone painting, they get to a point I think, "Perfect! I love it." But they keep going and then I think how silly was I to think it was done at that point. NOW it's perfect. And yet they keep going long past the point where I would have been happy with the results and of course, the painting is eventually done and I realize, of course it wasn't complete before these final touches. So my question to you is...how do you know when enough is enough? How do you know when to stop?
So glad you enjoyed the video - thank you for watching! And I love your question as it is such an important one to think about when we paint. To me, the painting is finished as soon as I feel I have nothing else to add to it. When I feel that my eyes "rest" when I look at the painting, that there is a sense of balance to it. When there are no areas of the painting that I feel need fixing - like deepening the darks for contrast or lifting some paint to create highlights, or adding some fine details like grass or splatters of paint. As soon as I feel that way, I step back and stop to avoid overthinking and overpainting. It's a hard one to explain, but I think the more we paint the easier it is to see when it is done. Hope this helps!
As a raw beginner, I am learning a lot from you. I admire the way you use the water marks to guide the direction of the painting. It is a revelation!
So glad to know you find my videos useful. Thank you for watching! Enjoy your watercolour journey - it is pure magic

@@AnastasiaMily It helps tremendously, thank you!
Disculpe. Una pregunta. En qué medida de papel hace sus pinturas?
Depends on the painting - you can see the size of the paper in the description of every video. This one was 18x26 cm
