Thank you so much Jay - glad you enjoyed it. I do find that leaving areas of untouched paper in watercolour painting adds so much character to a piece :)
YOur style has inspired me to try some new techniques. I love your demonstration videos... the music is serene and the paintings are lovely! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
Wow, I watched this a year ago, and thought it was out of my league (meaning too difficult for me). Now, I can’t wait to try it. Anastasia, thank you for all your help and sharing.
Oh that is just wonderful Anne. It is amazing how much we can grow in a year if we keep on painting. So glad that my videos are helping you on your creative journey - thank you for watching!
I love how you are brave enough and clever enough, to leave all that white space for such wonderful results! I really enjoy your videos, they are restful and serene, but full of excellent painting and teaching! Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words... Leaving parts of the paper untouched is such a powerful tool in watercolour painting and I love using it. Glad you are enjoying my videos!
Just by accident I came to your paintings. How wonderful you do the washes and let the colors flow. I tried this one immediatley : it looks a little differnt (I nwanted it to be my painting!), but I am really pleased with it. I give your further videos a go! Thanks to far away Australia. Greetings from Germany.
So glad you are enjoying my videos Vero 😊 Thank you for such lovely feedback. And how wonderful that you tried this painting but made it your own - that is the whole point, to learn the techniques and apply them in your art to create unique pieces. Happy painting!
Thank you! It was one of my earliest videos where I did not list the colours, sorry. I believe I used Indanthrone Blue, Indigo, Transparent Red Oxide, and Burnt Umber. Hope it helps
So serene. I like how you aren’t afraid to leave white space. It really helps create effective compositions and focal points. Thanks for sharing!
