    I am a Chinese in Mexico and I feel pretty much the same as the old lady does. We need to let our future generations know about their background and roots.

    Hi, I'm Korean and I just heard about Korean migrants in Mexico. It's a shame that my country doesn't teach about our people who separated because of sad history.
    I'll visit definitely if I have a chance to visit Yutacan. 감사합니다 건강하세요!

    안녕하새요 Is there more videos of this between Mexico & Korea and the immigrants that came to Mexico? I am mexican and I know from my mothers side that her grandfather or great grandfather was Korean. But we do not know much about the history of his Korean side because he never spoke about it and he passed away young. So my grandfather could not learn 한글 . We only know that our last name is 김. I am trying to learn more about my past and trying to learn 한글 as well.

      Hola Nora! I am glad you are paying attention to your root and history. I've found some of the video clips on RUclips produced by Mexican local media and broadcast which are pretty historical information driven. If you are around Merida, maybe visit the museum during weekends as they have Korean classes. I am sorry not much of being helpful when it comes to resource to learn Hanguel. RUclips must have ton of resources too! :) Good luck and stay tuned, I will come with more useful and interesting videos regarding Latin/Caribbean-Korean relations. Muchas gracias!

    Many of my elder family members had korean features but I never got a dna test.. so I’ll never know for sure, but I think it’s interesting how Mexico is so genetically diverse. God bless every Mexican American, Mexican, korean, korean Mexican. Mi familia, te amo mucho.

      They mix first with the indigenous people that was the maya and eventually mix with Spanish. That was the case with my roots. My father's mother was a mix of Korean and maya so I have Korean roots myself, yes I look mexican and proud to be yucatecan as mexican.

    • @ricardo_cn
      @ricardo_cn 4 года назад +1

      @UCQznSUhckUTyMNXzq7oG9tw The Spanish were here before the Koreans (coming from Korea and the maya were here before the spanish) so the Koreans lived with the indigenous people and mix. My father's dad was second generation of Spaniards hence is what I mentioned on my first message
