Dear Eve, its 3.00am in the morning in UK , and i have been watching your videos. I'm so grateful , as I am of a senior age , and with your patience and your smiles and knowledge, I've learning more from you and you make your videos so enjoyable to watch that its so encouraging for me to start my hobby in embroidering again after being ill for years. May God bless you and keep you safe. Sending a big hug to you
Oh thank you! I needed a simple solution to line up the shirts for embroidery I need to do. Update: I grabbed two 2 packs of the cutting boards and created my template. I have 20 shirts to do in 3 sizes. This will make this project so much easier and faster to complete! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your experience and awesome idea!
I lost this same video from months ago, now that I’ve stocked up on the cutting boards (have 14😊), it’s time to embroider the t-shirts for my 6 grandchildren! With leftover cutting boards I’ll use them to make firm bottoms or sides for bags and purses...they won’t be waisted. Thx for teaching this method for embroidery! 🤗❤️
Thanks much :) I do HTV & a friend asked me to do some logos on her work t's. Now I will be able to place them all exactly in the same place. Blessings
🥰 Thank you! I really appreciate you for leaving your positive comments! My goal is to be as helpful as I can so I definitely appreciate knowing that you found the videos to be beneficial!
i stumble across your videos a couple of weeks ago you really encourage and inspired me for more than one reason I pray what ever you touch turns into gold
♥♥♥♥ That is so sweet!!! Thank you so very much for your kind comment! Thank you for letting me know that! I pray that YOU find success in all of your endeavors! 😃😊
OMG Thanks for this easy guide. I'm a home embroiderer, my sister asked me to do a few shirts for her business, those few are 96!!!! Glad she didn't have a lot. Anyway, your size guide will make the take so much easier. Thank you, thank you thank you!
You're God sent for this!!!!! Didn't get a chance to go to DT to get the mat but. I had some plastic from my HTV and it worked just as fine. Thanks for sharing
The easiest & most helpful instructions I have found for logo placement. Love your inexpensive tip for a DIY guide. My 86 year old Dad has recently started machine embroidery at home & is totally loving it! I'm sharing your videos with him tonight. I hope to be able to do machine embroidery one day. So glad I stumbled upon your channel
I'm just working on my first embroidery project, and I've learned so much from several of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a clear way. You're my favourite embroidery teacher too!
I use the clear cutting mats all the time but I was just about to order the $20 placement guide when I found your video. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Hello from the UK. I do T shirt printing and I always have a job doing logo placement. I think you have just saved me from losing any more hair. Your placement template is brilliant and will certainly help me. Thanks again. you're a star. xx
+charliemac Cool beans! Welcome to our channel 🤗 Logo placement can be a pain in tha bum so I completely understand. I am happy to save your hair! 😄 Thank you for your feedback 👍🏽
Thank you so much for sharing! It’s always nice when someone shares something that works for them, to make someone else’s life easier. We all have good tips that help others. Thank you, again
This by far is the best video I have found for logo placement. I have searched endlessly for videos and/or printable templates. Thank you so much! I am a fan!
You saved my day. I have a large order for logos and could not find my placement ruler. I found you RUclips video and it is awesome. I made an immediate trip to Dollar Tree and purchased the chopping mats. Getting ready to do the shirts. I know it will work. I am subscribed. Smart to offer these mats on your web site. Dollar Tree who knew. They should give you a commission because by going there today I saw some organizing bins that I will purchase and was reintroduced to the store. Thank you. 🙏🏽😊
Now that everyone is buying these sheets and they are getting harder to find in a pinch i have used laminating paper. i just put the laminating sheet in the machine to heat both sides together and i get a nice clear stiff sheet to use as a pattern.
I’ve been looking for a way to do logos! I’ve seen several videos but you set it straight girl ! Great job on saving money to make the our creations easier and cheaper ! Especially during this time of day ! Stay safe
I love this idea. I was going to buy the "name brand" placement guide but was having a hard time parting with my money. I will definately try this. Thank you!
We are ALL about saving money here at The Baby's Booty. When you've kicked out for machines, thread, stabilizers and designs, heck we need to save SOMEWHERE right?!? LOL! Thanks for watching our video and for leaving your feedback! ❤😀
on this placement your showed how do you get the horizontal straight....I am writing words and want to make sure the horizontal placement is correct also....loved the video and the tips you gave...I will definitely use them....thank you
What a great idea! With the hole that's pre-cut in the top of the mat I'll also be able to hang the templates on a "binder ring" to keep them all together! Thanks for another great mini class!!
Absolutely genius! Putting in a little bit of work in the front end will always result in a better product. For anyone wanting to do this with a permanent marker, sharpie makes metallic markers you can buy in a pack of 3 that are very bold and easy to see.
Hi! You are very good at explaining things! I have just purchased a Brother 870se and I wondered if it possible to add lettering onto a digitised logo that my husband downloaded for me. Thank you so much I am looking forward to seeing your other videos.....really good practical help and advice.
I love this video, it's a great idea, Thanks for sharing. I have a question, could I use this same pattern measurements to do pocket peekers on T-Shirts?
Are those plastic mats big enough to put a placement mark on a size 3x t-shirt? Do you have a video on putting the shirt on the machine for stitching? I love all your videos you make, you definitely know your business! Thank you!
Amazing! I WISH I had viewed this BEFORE I spent $20 on a placement ruler that still resulted in the logo being too high on the chest :( I can't wait to learn more tricks from you! Great job!
This is such a great tip! I wish you had shared this sooner. I just ordered one of those $20 gadgets! LOL I will have to see if my Dollar Tree has those cutting mats so I can make one of these for the smaller shirts. Thanks for the great tip!
Great tip! I've learned so much from you. I now use these cutting mats for everything from patterns and templates for my business to game mats and teaching tools in my classroom. Thanks a million!
Cathey Kaiser Awww! That's awesome! They are very handy for all kinds of crafts. Your students have a gem for a teacher! 😊❤ Thank you for watching our videos and for leaving a comment!
Thank you for making my life of embroidering shirts much easier.....my husbands company is too cheap to have shirts embroidered so I do it myself and he is a happy salesman ... his customers know his name and company!!
Thank you sooo much 😘. The tool, available in the US for 20ish Dollars is sold for over 50 Euro in Europe (which is close to 50 USD) 😱. And even if I was willing to spend this amount on a little piece of plastic, there still remains one problem: As garment manufacturers have no idea what they are doing today, you can’t refer to any size in the garment any longer. I have T-Shirts for myself which say „S“, „XS“, „M“ and even „L“ on the inside. When I layer them on top of each other, they are all about the same size, give or take an inch. So what size on the template would I be supposed to refer to...? I will try out your method tonight, it’s the first thing, that really makes sense to me, because instead of referring to an unreliable letter in the shirt, you refer to, what you truly have: Seams, the collar and sleeves. Blessings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you for your post, it was very helpful to me. I'm working in vinyl, but have an order to fill NOW, and just couldn't figure out exactly where to put that logo so it would be in the same place every time. :-) Thanks!
Thank you so much for a very helpful tip, I am new at learning embroidery and have been practicing on tee shirts. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your business!
I found your video's on fb. Designs by little bee had posted the one you did working on the crayon holder ( which I bought after watching :) ) I wish I had seen this one before doing the 89 tshirts/sweatshirts for my son with his logo. I've gone on to watch several so far and look forward to the rest. Keep them coming. Even though I have been embroidering for 8 years your videos have shown me how to do things simpler. I also do onesies for our local race track gift shop and will be using your template idea for those as well... Thank you for your time and inspiration!
Thank you!!! I appreciate hearing that! I wish you had of found the video prior to those 89 t-shirts/sweatshirts too! Wow! I look forward to seeing you around The Baby's Booty channel, and if you have any suggestions (or see where I could improve) please share!
Gday from australia, thank you so much, im wondering if i could do something similar with putting vinyl on tshirts, gonna have to give it a go ay…..again thank you.
Thank you for the terrific idea!!! I don't embroider but use vinyl instead. I was thinking that you could cut the guide like an L shape, and have a few for different sizes and types of T-shirts such as a vee neck. That is what I am going to do. I might even try using card stock and laminator to make a template. See what you have started, a whole lot of creative ideas:) Thank you again!!
Awesome Video. I have pocket polo's for my son in law . I have done the easy ones like your showing now he has bought pocket shirts. need help with size of logo on a lg shirt
You could also use those sheets that are used to print transparencies for projectors. They are a little thinner but would work. enjoyed your video, liked and subscribed!
Good evening How can I get the correct measurement for baby, toddler & kids logo? I have a kids line. Thank so much for sharing your knowledge from your business. Truely appreciate it.
Thank you SO much! I have learned so much! This pattern idea is amazing! I will be making templates for everything now! This will make excellence and consistency much easier.
YES!!! I am happy to have inspired you! Attention to such small details can change "handmade" to "Custom Made"! I want to help make that process as smooth as possible! Thank you for leaving a comment and for watching our videos! 😊

Hoodies are a bit different because the sleeves are much wider than traditional t-shirts. In that instance, I would still shoot for 7-9 inches down. Put a straight pin in the shirt at the location you're considering then put it on and see if it falls on the chest where you want it to be. 👍🏽 Then set your templates from there.
Hello! Thank you for sharing this tip :D I'm curious how many inches down do you do for XL or 2XL. Also was the Large 7 inches down and S/M was 8 inches down? Or is it just 7-9 inches down depending on preferences or is it related to size of the shirt.
Couldn’t finding the center of the shirt be easier if you fold the shirt in half and either press it with an iron or mark (draw a line) with a water soluble marker? I’m really new at embroidery and need simple ways to learn various steps to accomplish each project. Gotta learn to use the Embrilliance program also...love gaining confidence with each new ‘lesson learned’! It’s “Thanks to You” and others that make teaching videos possible, that we can wisely use each day (and hours of Covid seclusion) to make items that ‘add’ to our life and the world around us! 😘🥰💖

Thanks for the video. Can I use the same guideline for women/children t-shirts and or polo shirts?
What great advice! Thank you! This is so helpful!
Thank you kindly!
You could also use those sheets that are used to print transparencies for projectors. They are a little thinner but would work. enjoyed your video, liked and subscribed!
Cool idea! Thank you for the suggestion!
Good idea! I have a whole box of those!
Thank You Eve! This has been very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi love your videos! Question I went to your site and did not see the larger cutting boards. Are they available to purchase?
Good evening
How can I get the correct measurement for baby, toddler & kids logo? I have a kids line.
Thank so much for sharing your knowledge from your business. Truely appreciate it.
You should patten that guide idea! Awesome!! Thank you!!
Thanks for the tip what an awesome idea and a great time saver too!!
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS IS SO SIMPLE

Very clever!!! Thanks for sharing BTW I love your videos keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing! the best idea to properly place logos.
Thank you!!! I needed a quick cheap solution, and this is what I came up with. 😊
Great video and eureka moment with clear cutting board...going to go stock up on those.
Thanks for information.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching our videos!
Although I appreciate your video. I still think it's time consuming when it comes to doing multiple shirts. This will definitely be a jump off point for me to create a tool that is as simple as yours started out to be. I do by the way love all your videos..
We are here to inspire, not be the end all of all. I know there are a lot more efficient ways to do things and I'm sure yours will be awesome!
Soooo thankful for this video as I am new to doing apparel in the embroidery world! Just one question, where can I get that small grid you showed? Or did you make it?
Thank you so much for this video. It helped me so much.
Glad it helped!
Do you have to adjust measurements in order to allow for designs of different sizes? I’m going to be doing shirts for 6 of my grandchildren, will have ‘practice shirts’ to make any adjustments/measurement changes.
Glad you did this video. I will be doing this.😊👍👍
🤗 Thank you for your feedback!
Could you do a video on making your design in the center
The center? I sure can!
Wonderful video. I just stumbled across it and I enjoyed your tips thank you so much!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching our videos and leaving me feedback. Let us know if you have any questions or suggestions for future videos.
Another excellent video! Can you please tell me where you purchased the ribbon from that is in the background? I make hairbows too along with the embroidery, sewing and other crafts.
Thank You! I got them from Walmart & Michaels Clearance Sales! 😄
Thank you for the great time saving idea! I made mine today.
Is this the same concept for hoodies and fleece sweaters?
Hoodies are a bit different because the sleeves are much wider than traditional t-shirts. In that instance, I would still shoot for 7-9 inches down. Put a straight pin in the shirt at the location you're considering then put it on and see if it falls on the chest where you want it to be. 👍🏽 Then set your templates from there.
Thanks for your tips. Very easy to follow & you’re such a sweetheart ☺️
Wonderful video and idea! Do you use the same logo placement for embroidery and HTV? I love love love this idea thank you so much for sharing
I do! I didnt on my own shirt, LOL! But it works for any logo placement.
Yes, logos are usually in about the same location! The style of shirt can change up logo placement. 👍🏽
What type of stabilizer do you use for tee shirts?
Cutaway! You can also use the cutaway mesh stabilizer.
For a XL and 2 XL would I use the 9" from shoulder or would I add an inch for each. Thx for a great video!
Hello from a fellow Charlottean (actually Mint Hill). Nice video and funny when someone uses a $ Tree find they all disappear quickly - LOL.
Great idea. Thank you
You are so welcome!
So helpful! Doing this tonight! Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Thank you so much for sharing this... it is very helpful and easy to follow. 👍🏻♥️
Awesome video! Thanks Eve.
You're welcome! Thank you for leaving a comment!
Thanks, that was very helpful. Headed to Dollar Tree! Blessings to you.Pam
Never did clarify if the marks on t-shirt are the center of where the logo goes?
Looks like it will be much easier, thanks!
Can you do one for a v-neck shirt for placement?
Brilliant such a brilliant idea! Thank you
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos!
Hello! Thank you for sharing this tip :D I'm curious how many inches down do you do for XL or 2XL. Also was the Large 7 inches down and S/M was 8 inches down? Or is it just 7-9 inches down depending on preferences or is it related to size of the shirt.
Brilliant! Thank you. Never would have thought of doing that.
You're welcome! I tend to think "outside the box". I hope it proves to be helpful!
This is AMAZING! Thank you so much!!!!!!
Hi do you have a video for a DIY alignment ruler for tee shirts?
