Watched this again and it’s probably one of the most honest on RUclips. Embroidery takes time, involves a lot of sweating and a keen eye. It’s rewarding and fun but some jobs can be a nervous experience. Thanks for this once again makes me feel human to know that other people have same problems as me unlike some videos where mistakes are never made and that’s just not honest.
Your fantastic at explaining embroidery, I’m a senior 70yrs young (lol) that has handquilted over 60yrs, learning from my Gram as a child. Needlework is my passion, embarrassing as it is, I bought a husky topaz 20 sewing/embroidery machine 7yrs ago, tried my darnedest to conquer the embroidery part. Bought the embrilliance software, had trouble with transferring patterns from computer to machine, (due to stressful yrs of surgery, so because of that,, kinda gave up on it til, I started going thru utube tutorials. That’s when I found you & couple of others. If it weren’t for software & you, I probably wouldn’t have started up again & feel this time I think I can get the hang of it. So a hugh big hug for putting your time & luv for your craft out here for us all, it’s most appreciated. Thank you, thank you. Continue the grt work 🧑🏻🦳😉👍🏻🧵
Ms. Kandia, I CAN NOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU, how MUCH, I appreicate your video. You address my concerns, questions, and concerns, RIGHT out of the gate. I only wish, that I had found your video, when I was trying to decide, whether or not, to purchas my SE 400. I found you extremely helpful and very informative. Thanks keeping it real and for ALL the helpful tips. I truly appreicate it.
I starting watching your video for beginners last night but had to quit before I watched all the way through. I woke up at 4:30 this morning excited to finish watching it -and It was awesome! :). Anyway, I moved on to this video. My husband woke up and joined me in the office JUST AS you started talking about how expensive embroidery is! OMG00dness! I wish I'd have watched this one while he was still sleeping LOL. I had to reassure him you were in business and I was just looking to make nice gifts for family and friends. THEN you said it's an expensive hobby too! Who knows how I'll have to work this one out when I start buying the necessary supplies. Don't worry though, we've been married for 38 years so I know my way around him :). Anyway, maybe put a heads up in the description for the videos best watched without husbands in the room LOL. SO happy I found you!
Thank you. I love the way you explain things and give reasons why you're doing something. My why for embroidery - my mother passed away in December 2019 from Stage IV Uterine Cancer and we had her funeral in January 2020 - So not quite a year yet. I have been eating my feelings and I realized that I needed another outlet. I remember my mom's sewing room growing up and being "dragged" around Joanne's Fabric and Fabric King when I was a kid. Her trying to get me to take my sewing classes seriously or telling me "Jenn you need to count" as she tried to show me how to crochet & me just not having the patience to do it. That sewing room is where she used to go lock up and I used to ask her why and she told me that was her therapy for having my dad and 5 kids in the house LOL. So I am learning to sew and embroider, and I found what she said to be correct. It's turning out to be a much better therapy than eating my feelings and it makes me feel closer to her and like I am carrying on her legacy. SO thank you for helping me to do that.
Very moving tribute to your mother! My deepest condolences to you for your loss. You are fortunate to have a double blessing from her room, healing AND benefiting from her things she loved on as well!
Hoyle Cake I and relate to your story,..when i was young I didnt hv the Patience for sewing, but my Mom was a excellent seamtress and always encouraged me to sew, i started late and yes it is Therapy for me
This is fabulous. You and I are a lot alike. My daughter said to me, "Mom, you don't do this for the money, you do it for the happiness it brings to other people." It's true. I'll probably never be rich, because I pour more of myself into my work than I should, because the quality matters to me. I have been sewing forever...but I'm very new to adding embroidery to my sewing. My heart races the entire time, worried anything might go wrong! HA HA. I hope you are still creating, you have a beautiful energy. Thank You!
I’ve been doing research on embroidery machines as a hobby for weeks and you just confirmed what I suspected...EXPENSIVE!!! Thank you, thank you. Excellent explanation and I’m grateful. I’m still considering going into embroidery as therapy and possibly earning a little money but will proceed with caution. I love the Viking but might go with a brother machine instead for my needs. Again, thank you Kandia!
I have an embroidery business and you TRULY hit the nail on the head. I love your humor and candidness in this video. No matter how long you have been doing anything...there’s always something new to learn.....thank you for sharing
Hello Eve! I am a new subscriber, as I just found you on youtube. I have a Brother Entrepreneur ProX PR1050X, and love the machine, yet have not had the time to spend working with it like I would like. Watching your videos has inspired me to make time for embroidery, not just for the creative aspects, but the emotional as well. You made a comment that embroidery has healed many for a variety of reasons. I have had a hard time sewing and embroidering lately. I've gotten it in my head that I go into my sewing room when all is well in life. I've got trying family issues with an aging mother and as a result have stopped working on my embroidery for several months. I never thought of it as a way to "heal." Thank you. I look forward to watching your future, and past posts. You are a lovely person and I'm grateful for finding your videos. Fondly, Melinda
This video is very informative. I got into machine embroidery because I had sewed for years. I seen an embroidery machine and said that one day I would get one. Even though I was very familiar with sewing machines and sergers I quickly learned that an embroidery machine is totally a different ball of wax. You really have to work with your machine to discover what supplies work best for your machine. Embroidery machines can be extremely picky when it comes to thread and needles. I get my thread from Amazon the Brothread. I have had nothing but good luck with it. Make sure you get embroidery machine needles and order a large supply. Get ball point and sharp needles. My favorite needles are Organ. They just work really well for me.
Thank you for your advice Virginia! Needles are an essential part of successful embroidery! Although embroidery is different from sewing, I'm glad you embraced the differences and learned it anyway. I appreciate you leaving a comment!
I found this video because I'm considering starting a small "side" embroidery business. I have had a Brother SE400 for years that Ive only used a few times and never embroidered anything. Going in I thought this video would be too long for my attention span but I was wrong, it was worth every second. Now I really want to do this and subscribed to your channel. Thank you for this quality helpful information!
I really appreciate this. You obviously have a grip on the practical aspects. My adult son and I are considering this as a way he could work from home due to his autism. I enjoy hand embroidery and I've been sewing for 25 years. I've always wanted to have a business sewing, but the possibility of a profit sewing things is hard when everyone buys cheap clothes from China. But custom work might be profitable. I'd actually love to hear how long it took to start building clientele, how you advertised, how you price your work, what sells best and what inventory should I buy. I'll pick your brain if you let me. Actually I think I'll go look through your posts because you probably have answered these questions before.
Thank you Katphyre! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! Custom work is profitable, but it takes a bit of time to build clientele. I do have several live discussions where these topics are addressed, and if you are able to join in on one of our livestreams on sunday evenings, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Congratulations on your new baby! I try to be transparent about this business because it doesnt help to pull the wool over someone's eyes. Thank you for your feedback and for watching our videos!
Do embroidery because you like to do it ............ that’s a wonderful statement that I loved. Because I do it that way. When I do a certain job, I get so immersed in it that I forget everything else. Thanks for wonderful tips and the realities in the embroidery world.
Hello Eve, I stumbled across you this video, and your page looking into a stabilizer for a polo shirt... I'm not new to this, but it's and important product for a now customer.... I have a Viking Topaz50 for my embroider machine.... however,... I just fell in love with you.... the selecting of the color "orange" was everything, and truth... I was a master florist and I'm all too familiar with the perfection some people think they have.... I've subscribed to your channel, and will telling people about it... I can't wait to watch some of your other videos... AMAZING presentation.... Thank you, Jon
People's misconceptions change once they get into the business, well, any business, but the perceived 'easiness ' of embroidery as a business makes some customers think it should be dirt cheap as a consumer, and some embroiderers sell their items for too far under market value per piece (or pieces etc) to bring biz into their shop, and this will bite them , as well as the industry and fellow professionals in the butt. Why?.. because it hurts the $ line all around..eventually,. Especially the market place. I am a retired sports apparel store co-owner and pro embroiderer, and it's a great industry, just do your homework. Buy what you can afford, we chose commercial machines, as sports uniforms and material will eat up anything other than top of the line high end home machines, so just do your homework new folks. Your advisories to newbies are spot on!!!
Wish I watched this before purchasing my embroidery machine. Love all the info. Was wondering what is the chart you show and where I can get it. Thank you
I had holes in my uniform pockets , bought a hand held sewing machine, then a mini sewing machine that didn’t work, then i saw videos by tock custom and then i purchased a se600 to do logo on shirts for fun and relaxation and that is where I’m at
You made a lot of sense . I have been embroidering for grandchildren for over 12 years . I do it because I love it and my machine makes me look like a genius . Great therapy too. Your talk was very wise . Love your work . Keep up the good work .
I love your videos! I just purchased a se400 but I have never sewed a day in my life. growing up I've always seen my grandmother embroider so I have always been interested in doing the same , I'm just scared ill regret buying the machine. i have been watching millions of tutorial on embroidery so wish me luck lol.
I wish I had found you a year ago when I bought my machine! This video explained many of the issues I have been having. One common mistake, not confirming the vendor is going be able/willing to answer questions after you have made that big purchase. If you don’t feel confident with how they answer your questions, find a better vendor.
Thank you so much for this video. I think it was excellent the way you pointed out all 5 things. Everything you said is true. I bought my first machine in January of this year. I recently traded it in for a 6 needle. My husband and I do embroidery together as a hobby. I love making things and giving them away to bless people. I watch your videos all the time because you explain everything so well. Thank you. Nikki
Thank you so much for your informative videos. I have been watching your videos for the past month and a half. I love your style and humor. Of all the embroidery videos I have watch yours are at the top of my list Truly! Thank you so much for giving the information on the software called So What Pro and the other items you use. Todays topic of the Top 5 Mistakes touched my heart when you said the embroidery has touched the souls of people who have loss in their lives and other life circumstances.I totally know that embriodery has rescued a very good friend of mine after the loss of her son in the Marines. I can also say that the i have just gotten into embroidery and totally agree when you see the happy look when you give a gift that is personalized. That made me feel more gratified then i can put into words here. I know you know what I am talking about. Let me add I am very glad that your hubby is OK and doing well. Praise God for that.Thank you once again for your generosity in helping the embroidery community that is following you. God Bless You and Your Loved ones.
❤❤❤ Thank you very much for sharing this with me! I have met SO MANY who needed a creative outlet, and embroidery was the tool used to stitch back broken hearts. And we definitely get more from giving than receiving! I think that's why I price my embroidery so low... I want to be a part of the gift that gives memories for a lifetime! Thank you for your well wishes, and I look forward to seeing you around our channel! ❤❤❤
Thank you! I’d say my biggest beginner mistake (so far) is being afraid to finally try stitching something. I’ve been reading and watching videos like crazy, but I’ve got so much anxiety over finally hooping up a project. I’m constantly second guessing whether it’ll be perfect. Well dang it, time to give it a whirl!
When talked about the cost, I smiled. My friend bought a used embroidery machine off an action. It works good. She thought she did me a great service. Then it was off to my stabilizers, needles, thread, more hoops, etc. :)
I'm glad I finally watched this I've been a subbie but now because of this covid-19 chelation I have time to actually sit and watch your videos with enthusiasm and an open mind but now I feel like I need a notepad because this felt like a introductory into embroidery I feel like I was really taking one of those college courses you should be a teacher if you ever want to retire doing this
Thank you from South Africa for a most helpful video. I have been embroidering for about seven months and have learned SO much! I am also venturing into digitizing and have also learned so much. I am now making original files which are being used in retail. It is still slow going but I have faith that it will be successful.
It will definitely be successful as long as you have faith that it will and understand that growth TAKES TIME. The most beautiful flowers bloom within a season. Give yourself space to perfect the art.
Love this tutorial and it's so much truths to it, I do embroidery and sewing but do not sell anything, just for friends and my family even thou they keep telling me to sell my stuff, just love to do it for the fun, yes I which I could but I have no idea what to do or how. Thank you so much for your input, always watch your tutorials.
Thank you! I'm sure that if you did decide to sell, you would do very well especially with family already encouraging you to go that route. Just ease into it if you decide to do so. I appreciate you watching our videos!
I really appreciate you making this video. I've taken a machine embroidery and that made me want to learn more!! I'm eyeballing a PE800 now, thank you!
You are such an AMAZING TEACHER. Very PROFESSIONAL and FUN. Perfectly EXPLAINED. Thank you for taking your precious time to make this possible. I'm THANKFUL FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE. Rebecca Colón THE SEWING PROFESSIONAL Elizabethtown, KY San Juan, PUERTO RICO
Thanks for all your information am new to embroidery was getting the pe800 back order forever opted for the Jacome 400 e what’s your thoughts on this machine…
Thank you so much for this awesome video. You have enlightened me immensely! I purchased an embroidery machine about 7 months ago and have yet to take the embroiderer out of the box. You have given me the confidence to do it!!!
This has been great. Thank you. Love your humour and honesty. I've just been bought a Brother PR670e. I've never used an embroidery machine but technician coming out to me on Tuesday for a tutorial. I'll start with doing items for my own children and see what the future may bring. I don't expect to be a millionaire but enough every year for a deposit on a holiday would be great! Thanks again 😘
You are very welcome my dear! I am very happy that you have someone who can come to you! I look forward to seeing your projects and progress as time goes on. 🤗
Just stumbled on your videos and love them. You are truly an inspiration and answered a lot of questions for the ordinary person. I have been embroidering for a couple of years but loved all your ideas. Learned something from each one of them.
I have to say thank you. Thanks to you my children and grandchildren are going to get me an Embroidery machine. Merry Christmas to me. Thanks again Sweetheart.
Hi all I just watched you video and felling more confident in buying my machine . I am also from South Africa and we have just gone to Level 2 lockdown . I am concerned about where to get orders from to start , love sewing and craft and thinking of buying Brother SE600 Sewing and Embroidery Machine, 80 Designs, does anyone have any feedback in using this machine . I have Subscribed and will follow for more advise .
Thank you very much for this video. I am thinking about starting an embroidery business and I was searching online to see how to do it and what I need to do and this video really helped me out. Embroidery is not easy and I did not do my homework before I got my embroidery machine, the brother se400. I got so frustrated doing embroidery when I first started. I stopped using my machine until I learned how to use it correctly. Now I am much better and it is because of video like these. I am subscribed and I just downloaded the sew what pro from your website. That program is a challenge also, but because of your videos and other videos I am not getting frustrated as much. Thank you very much and please keep the vides coming.!!!!!!!
Not sure this is the right video as I just binged watched them. But, snapped a needle right in the middle of a design and was able to back up and fix it thanks to your advice. Took everything off and checked but only thing I could come up was the needle was bad. Thank you.
VERY HELPFUL TO THINK THRU EVERY POSSIBLE STEP NEEDED TO COMPLETE A GIVEN PROJECT AND EVERY PROJECT CAN HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO
All so very very true. 💯% Also, some people know nothing about sewing. Just with my experience. If I didn't know how to sew first; I would have quit a long time ago. You're so right, materials, and stabilizers can really be a doozy. If I had to choose one (two) thing that really stood out for me. All the little tools you need. And finding a mans-man carrier to put my stuff in. Lol. Good vid.
ROFLMBOOOO!!!!! You know how to sew!!!! You can make a Man's Man carrier!!! ROFL!!!! Thanks for your two points, all the little tools is a GREAT point!!! I appreciate your comment and the laugh! Thank you 😄
OMG, what you said about choosing quality thread is sooooo true. A while a go a company I use for lots of things brought in a supply of threads from India and I bought rather a lot as the price was so reasonable (plus it was their once a year 50% sale) but I can't use them as they simply shred and snap regardless of the needle I use and what not. You are so right - I wish I had not wasted my money. I will be sticking with my quality threads now.
I wish I saw this video before making my big purchase 🤦🏾♀️. Everything you have said in this video is The Truth. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have some homework to do 😘
It's a thing of beauty to see my SE425 humming along until it stops for a new color TWENTY TIMES in the same design. I thought this would be something to 'load up and watch'. Oh no, sometimes the same color needs to be rethreaded in a few places, in between other colors. I'm making a 'horizontal tree' using ball bearings, for my metallic threads. I never dreamed the 'twist' would be such a huge problem. Then, I saw your video about metallic threads. Thank You.
Thank you for the video. I got lucky and took on a bite i could barely chew. A campaign never done shirts before so i tackled it with my team. The city gives projects its awesome. Honestly i find embroidering graceful & elegant. Along with every man should have a general idea of work. I know i can do it this reassured me thank you.
I bought my first embroidery machine, I have wanted one for years and years. I have watched lots of your videos, you are so great, you have helped me so much. THANK YOU
I want to thank you for making me think about all of this. I have seriously been thinking about getting a machine just for my personal use, but I think I am going to price exactly how much having what I would want done on the things I would want them would cost to have it done at my local shops. I do vinyl heat press and stuff like that at home, but that may be all I need to worry about. Seriously, thank you very much. I am subscribed to your videos and always to enjoy watching what you have to say.
Hi thanks for the info. I just started trying to embroider. The machine jammed and put a hole in my fabric. The store where I purchased the machine from said it happened because I didn't use bobbin thread in the bobbin. I was like wow, so you're telling me I need to purchase two different threads for the machine? I said that should have been one of the first things told to me in class. He said well you should have read your manual. This thing really is expensive!
Thank you Linda your advice is very informative. You remind me of the wisdom of a grandmother without the age. I just want to print out "AMERICAN SKATERS" "12,000 MILE SKATE" in 2 lines on baseball caps, at the bottom Hem of shorts, near the pocket of pants, on sweatshirts and jackets (possibly maybe gloves) with 3 colors of thread Red/White/Blue. Depending on the color of garments I may subtract 1of the colors example white shit may only need 2 colors of thread what is a good entry level brother sewing machine or other machine would make it easy to accomplish this.
You have the best videos I've watched! So many go off on tangents that are frustrating. Thank you for videos that are chock full of information. Love it!
Wow! WOW! Very good content love the transparency too. I'm a newbie and I'm so excited that I stumbled across your RUclips. I have done all of those things you have shared the first top five things. I've always been the person to collect all the information I need when I start out in a new endeavor and even though I still may have hiccups along the way at least the ones that do come I was aware! LOL. Continue to do what you do you're good at it and thank you so much.
Thank you, this was so helpful. I'm looking into buying an embroidery machine for my quilting. I am not only watching this video of yours but will be watching some of your others also. Thanks so much! Carion
Hi Eve! This was a great video! I wish I would have seen it before I bought my embroidery machine. I would have thought twice. I also have the PE500. I have used it a handful of times. Still really new to embroidery. My choice was just to personalize my items, not business. I am clueless about embroidery or even sewing machines. You mentioned researching before purchasing but I would be interested in learning more about after you have made the purchase. What's what? I was trying to research on why my bobbin thread was coming up on top in the embroidered fabric. Found a video that referenced the tension so that is taken care of. There is a place on my embroider that has for needle count and it has arrows on it. I have been ignoring it because it scares me. I have no clue what it is for. So I guess I need to research that. I need to figure it out. Soooo much to learn. Thank you :)
This was an awesome combination of education and entertainment! I am glad this popped up among the videos that initially appear when I logged on. So inspiring and encouraging! Thank you!
Hi, Eve! I’m a new subscriber to your channel. LOVE your vids! I fell in love with machine embroidery after I’ve gone through very difficult periods of my life. All my embroidered creations I either sold, donated or given as gifts which always felt rewarding. I used the Magnetic hoop on towels which was a hit & miss. Machine embroidery is my passion & an expensive hobby. It’s blood, sweat & tears for me. Lol! Even my own relative discouraged me to make it a business. Singer XL-6000 was my first machine back in 2003 which I still have. Keep me smiling, Eve! God bless you! Greetings from sunny Cali! ~ JOCELYN 🤗😎😄. PS I LOVE Embroidery Library!👌🏼
Thank you so much for your informative video. I love your zest for life. Your personality is great. I recently got into embroidery a month ago and still learning so much. Watching a ton of videos and reading etc. I got into embroidery because I love to create and have been crafting for over 20 years. While this is a very new venture for me I have wanted to learn the craft for over 10 years and never had the money. I am super nervous to do my designs on fabric vs scraps but I think I just need to go for it. Thanks again...loved the video :)
I'm so glad I came across your video! I have a small business on Etsy making scrub hats and other items. I have had it since 2014. I would like to be able to personalize my hats. I have gotten many requests and I have been considering it for over a year. I wouldn't be doing designs, just lettering. I learned about the stabilizer and that you need different thread. I only work with cotton fabric. I'm really close to getting a machine but am concerned about messing up a hat. Of course I will practice for awhile before I offer personalization as an option. My biggest concern is if I need a name at the bottom of the edge of something, how can I put the fabric in a 4" X 4" loop if the fabric doesn't completely fit. I am so worried about finding out that I can't do it after paying the money for a machine! Can you help me with that?
My advice is to take a hat and a sketched idea to a brother dealer. Tell them ALL your concerns and ideas. There are entry level machines that may work for you. My c.2000 Brother PC 8500 is still going strong and does beautiful work.
Awesome! Thanks for your " 5 mistakes" video :) I was thinking to purchase embroidery machine for awhile but didn't decided what brand till now! Thanks again!! Love it!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! This is an awesome video... I needed this! I just purchased a Brother PE 800 and I was just about to box this baby back up and get a refund 😳 I have just been given a second breath!! I am gonna take your pointers and try again because I think I wasn’t prepared. I was/am a master HTV’er and wanted to step up my game, so keep your videos coming and thanks again!!
Needed to hear this. Thought a couple of times of giving up. Still in practicing mode and most things don't turn out good enough. But, I love doing this and you are totally right about the investment.
I just watched two of your videos, and I love your method of communicating, especially the dual role play. :-) I've just bought a sewing/embroidery machine - and I know nothing. This is the first time I've heard I need a stabilizer, so I would love to see something more about that. I originally bought the machine to make makes for COVID-19 spread prevention but quickly thought - "ooh, embroidery - how fun!"
Awesome story. Keep up with your hobby.
I love your personality. It's obvious you know what you're talking about and you're little skits are great fun. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Ace! I try to have fun so it's easy to remember. LOL!
Ms. Kandia, I CAN NOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU, how MUCH, I appreicate your video. You address my concerns, questions, and concerns, RIGHT out of the gate. 🤣🤣 My apologies! The men folk do make things a bit complicated for us.
Thank you. I love the way you explain things and give reasons why you're doing something. At last, someone who tells you “how-to tips” to stay away from mistakes than can easily ruin your project and your pocket. ❤️
I'm here to help all pocketbooks! I've been there. It's not fun.
You are FUNNY , BUT REAL ! At 71, I needed this ! 😂🤣😅🥲
LOL!!! I am happy to have been of help Granny Reynolds! Welcome to the world of Embroidery!
This is very informative, I know its 2 years old but still has really good information.
Mrs. Alicia ONeil Jones Thank you!
As a newbie embroiderer this has been really informative thank you !
Thank YOU! Truth will set you free! Just getting back into sewing & embroidery!
Yay! I am super happy you have joined the embroidery ranks! Be sure to reach out if you have any questions!
Bought a machine today and I'm so happy I found this video. You are so honest about everything.
This video should be called *The Truth about Embroidery* I love it!! lol so funny I'm subscribing.
Truth, truth, truth.... Boy, am I learning (whew!)!!!! You are so funny and REAL when you do your videos ......means a great deal. Thank you Eve!
Thank you kindly Jon!!! 🥰 I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video!
Mabel Cruz I don't feel like you'll regret it other than getting hooked on it! 😄
Thank you. Nikki
+Nikki Harris Thank you! I really appreciate your positive feedback.
Nikki Harris bought my first embroidery machine and love it.no businesses. but practice makes perfect!
Thanks Nikki! what kind of 6 needle machine did you get?
I wanna be Happy doing embroidery too!! Thanks for the video ma'am! Liked your honesty! Helps me think more abt diving into embroidery!!
You definitely want to give it good consideration because it can get costly over time. Start small and you'll do great!
EXACTLY. There are hidden costs involved that many do not anticipate. Now about buying those designs.... LOL!
@@TheBabysBooty yep. Bought a memory stick to put them on too. 🤣
Thank you this is the most informative anyone has been. I now will redo my research. People have scare to tell it like it is.
As much money as it takes to invest into embroidery, I feel like I need to know what I'm getting into FIRST.
I'm glad I finally watched this I've been a subbie but now because of this covid-19 chelation I have time to actually sit and watch your videos with enthusiasm and an open mind but now I feel like I need a notepad because this felt like a introductory into embroidery I feel like I was really taking one of those college courses you should be a teacher if you ever want to retire doing this
🥰 Thank you! I will be teaching until I am too old to do so!
I just love your videos! You are a hoot! May God bless you!
Thank you! 😊😊😊 I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video!
You are so funny! What a personality! I’m just trying to decide if I want to add embroidery to my hobby list.
Elaine Armenta it’s addicting! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😂
I really appreciate you making this video. I've taken a machine embroidery and that made me want to learn more!! I'm eyeballing a PE800 now, thank you!
WOOT! Git it girl! Let us know when you get it so we can ring the bell for you!
Thanks for the honest & helpful tips about embroidery. Wish you success!

Thank you so much for this awesome video. You have enlightened me immensely! I purchased an embroidery machine about 7 months ago and have yet to take the embroiderer out of the box. You have given me the confidence to do it!!!
+Beatrice Beauchamp Woooot! You got this! 👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Appreciate your honesty and basic ideas of a new embroidery hobby
This has been great. Thank you. Love your humour and honesty. I've just been bought a Brother PR670e. I've never used an embroidery machine but technician coming out to me on Tuesday for a tutorial. I'll start with doing items for my own children and see what the future may bring. I don't expect to be a millionaire but enough every year for a deposit on a holiday would be great! Thanks again 😘
You are very welcome my dear! I am very happy that you have someone who can come to you! I look forward to seeing your projects and progress as time goes on. 🤗
Exactly what I want! I don’t want to be rich! I want to be happy doing the thing that I love! This is why I want to get into embroidery!
Thank you, Eve! I'm brand new to embroidery. I happened to find this video researching how to use my new machine. I appreciate your information.
You are very welcome, Melissa! I appreciate you letting me know that the video was helpful! Happy Embroidering!
Just stumbled on your videos and love them. You are truly an inspiration and answered a lot of questions for the ordinary person. I have been embroidering for a couple of years but loved all your ideas. Learned something from each one of them.
Thank you VERY much Joy! I appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback!
I have to say thank you. Thanks to you my children and grandchildren are going to get me an Embroidery machine. Merry Christmas to me. Thanks again Sweetheart.
You're welcome! Tell those babies thank you for me! ❤
You are awesome! I feel the same way you do with regards to that personal touch. Wishing you all the best all the way from South Africa
THANK YOU!! I appreciate you leaving me feedback, and I am sending you love all the way back to South Africa!!!
Thank you.
You're welcome! I'm happy to have been helpful!
VERY HELPFUL TO THINK THRU EVERY POSSIBLE STEP NEEDED TO COMPLETE A GIVEN PROJECT AND EVERY PROJECT CAN HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO
You are quite welcome. I appreciate you taking the time to leave your comment.
All so very very true. 💯%
Also, some people know nothing about sewing.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have some homework to do 😘
No worries, you can still get it up and going! If you have questions, just ask in the FB group.
Can u do a video on some of the stabilizer ...
I can, and it is a needed video!!! Thank you for the suggestion. 👍
I cannot find a video that you have made on this topic. Much needed. Love your videos.
Thank You.
You're welcome. 🙂
Girl, I appreciate you! And this video!
You’re intelligent, informative, silly and getting REAL with us! Thanks, lady 💕
Thank you Eve for all your input! I may have questions later about embroidery....
Congrats on the campaign! I am happy to know the video was helpful 🙂
I bought my first embroidery machine, I have wanted one for years and years. I have watched lots of your videos, you are so great, you have helped me so much. THANK YOU
Oh my gosh... You are AWESOME!!! I even had tears in my eyes!!! Love your helpful info! I am now subscribing!!!♥️💐👍🏻😊
OMG...as a beginner -- yes, to all this!!
Love love love your videos! You’ve become my go-to person for the down and dirty for all things embroidery.
I really appreciate that! Thank you kindly for your feedback and for taking the time to watch our video!
Excellent information and explanation of the information ! Thank You
Hi thanks for the info.
Thank you for a wonderful video. You are so accurate in what you say, but once bitten you cannot turn back!! Take care and stay happy.
This is a good and truthful video. Thank you for making me laugh!
I’m so glad my silliness was good, truthful and made you laugh!
Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch our videos 🤗
Great video - a big mistake newbies make and I still make is pricing!! Not charging enough for their work!!
loved this video and it has made me do research, I'm getting into embroidery and this has made me feel better about how I'm approaching it, thank you
You have the best videos I've watched! So many go off on tangents that are frustrating. Thank you for videos that are chock full of information. Love it!
What a precious wonderful lady. Great tutorial thank you. God Bless.
Thank youuuu! 😊😊😊
Wow!
Thank you for your comment! It does help to know how to look for problems before they come! I wish you the best in your business endeavors!
So much more than I ever thought of. Wow! Excellent video and wonderful information. Thank you.
Thank you Eve. Great advice. And information. You are such a great teacher. I have learned so much.
You're welcome! Thank you for your feedback! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement!
Thank you, this was so helpful. I'm looking into buying an embroidery machine for my quilting. I am not only watching this video of yours but will be watching some of your others also. Thanks so much! Carion
Thank you Carion! I appreciate you watching our videos!!!
Thank you... I love to see happiness in people faces also
YES!!! That's the best part! 😊
Thank you!
❤❤❤ Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and leave your encouraging comment!
+SewDiva5691 Thank you! I am glad to know that embroidery helped you as well. It is very comforting to do ☺. Thank you for being a part of our family!
I wished I would have found you sooner, so much valuable information. You are a natural instructor!!
Thank you! I do enjoy teaching others. 😊
Love it!
Yaaas! Thank you for letting me know that the video was helpful! Happy Embroidering!
what a wonderful teacher! I will watch and have subscribed.
I just watched you for the first time....I Love You💜 you have a special way of communication 💜 thank you for your video can’t wait to watch more..💜
Thank you kindly, Kim! I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and leave a comment! 😄
You are too funny 😂 but so true.
Thank you for being so honest 🙏
You are so welcome! It's needed in this industry because we invest A LOT of money and time.
This was absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for pointing out the pros and cons. I really enjoy your videos!
you're a doll. Thanks for the info. I just bought a babylock Accord because i've always wanted to learn this craft. Thanks for all your information.
thank you for the tips.I'm from Greece and thinking of adding embroidery services in my shop...so it was realy fun and helpful watching your video
You're welcome! I appreciate the feedback! Happy Embroidering!
Needed to hear this. Thought a couple of times of giving up. Still in practicing mode and most things don't turn out good enough. But, I love doing this and you are totally right about the investment.
Don't give up!!! Everything takes time to master. Check out the videos on RUclips and give it a bit more time. You'll do great!
I want to be able to embroider for enjoyment as well! Thank you for another great video!
